Hipster Hash with my eggs already demolished
    Michele G.

I recently visited a friend who suggest breakfast at Bridge Street Cafe. I'm from out of town & she's a bit of a foodie so thought why not. I'M SO GLAD WE DID. I totally did not expect this menu from what appeared to be an old diner. The menu!! Unbelievable totally unexpected. Our server Scot was fun, helpful & attentive. My friend raced over B&G's - topped with bacon - WHAT? My choice a bit more savory, Hipster Hash with the of addition of chorizo per Scot's recommendation. BTW splurge and get the homemade bread.... We drove a bit to get here but would even drive farther knowing what awaits at the end. DELICIOUS!

Hard to tell from this picture, but the view of town and the river is great while you enjoy your meal.

Best omelette of my life. I didn't take any pictures today because 1) I've been here before and I assumed my meal would be great, and 2) I was in a daze of amazing flavor that the thought of capturing the moment never crossed my mind. We also split a sweet breakfast special of Banana Cream Stuffed French Toast. It was also very tasty. *Explicit Content Warning* If you are a Greenville resident, I'm here to say it is BETTER THAN MARGOS! Food is great every time, the atmosphere is bright a cheerful, and of course the waiter Scot always has us giggling and smiling all through our meal.

On vacation and we found the Bridge Street Cafe. The menu was creative and had a number of good looking creations to choose from. We ordered the Carrot Cake Waffle and Corned Beef Hash. The waffle was exceptional! One of the best flavor combos I've had in a gourmet waffle. I would order it again in a heartbeat. The hash was ok. The eggs on top were cooked perfect, but it lacked a good amount of corned beef. So it finished as a very flavorful plate of eggs and hash browns. We agreed that a return trip would be an option! Great server as well.

Great food, bad customer service. The Atmosphere of the restaurant is okay. I ordered the Carrot cake waffles and the waitresses were looking at my order and straight up laughing at it. I was completely astounded. No staff of any establishment should laugh at a customers order and gossip about it.

Texas hash Wonderful big yummy food. Cooked like your grandma would have made you for breakfast!

The weird man Henry telling stories about how he used to be a chef made us feel bad for him. We went in again this past weekend and wow! The food was 1000 times better than before! The huge tables were so great we all fit and no uncomfortable wait while they shuffled things around. The ribeye was outstanding, and I loved how they have baked sweet potatoes as an option! Kudos to the chef he really knows his stuff.

On a plus side they have a couple of live edge tables for sale that are really nice. I ordered a 3 Choice Bbq smokehouse combo ($27). I got Ribs, Pulled Pork, and Shotgun Shells. The ribs tasted decent, but were not tender at all, in fact I had to use my knife to separate the ribs. The Pulled Pork was very good. The Shotgun Shells, which are a group meat in a pasta shell wrapped in bacon and covered in bbq sauce, were good. However, the pasta shells were dried out and tough. The bbq sauces were very good. For the sides I got baked beans and deconstructed street corn. They were both very good, probably the best part of the meal. The person I was with ordered the Burger ($12). It was declared to be very good. The service was friendly, but not very efficient. Long periods of the waitress vanishing or talking with other waitresses. Overall a 3 1/2 star review. However I'll be rounding up to 4 stars, due to the sides, the pulled pork, the sauces, and the burger. Would I return? If I was in the area, then yes, otherwise no.

The staff moved like they knew their places, how to hold themselves, and genuinely grateful for our prescience. I thought an old fashioned was an old fashioned, but this one was delicious and available for happy hour, can't beat that! Then at the bartenders recommendation, I had the meatballs for appetizer and the hangar steak for entree. First, the meatballs, very good, I'd give it a 4/5 minimum. Portion was very respectable, meant for a shareable appetizer but it was just me lol. The ricotta is a delicious touch. Then the hangar steak. It's the best steak I can remember having in a long time, and on a relatively inexpensive cut such as a hangar. I just can't express enough how impressed I was with it. And I'm not a sauce with steak type but the aioli just completes it so well. 5/5, and I'm pretty picky. If I come back to Grand Rapids I will visit here at least once.

Immediately noticed and enjoyed the life size cut out of Hulk Hogan and knew this would be a good fit. We were greeted by a waitress and someone else shadowing her. They brought some fun spicy popcorn designed to make you want a beer. I ordered a Harmony Brewing Company Draft beer and was brought the wrong one, oops! They quickly fixed it. Their pint glasses are so cool, because when you reach the end it has a funny picture at the bottom. Please see picture for reference. We chose the deviled eggs for an appetizer. They were good, but cold. I'm sorry, but no one's deviled egg recipe compares to Low Country Carolina Restaurant in my opinion. Plus at $5 for their happy hour special as opposed to $12 at this establishment... it kinda felt pricey and lacking. Originally, we ordered the brisket sandwich to split. There was another big table of people the waitress was also serving. Turns out 20 minutes or so later she went to put in our order and they were out of brisket! She was apologetic and offered to buy us dinner. We split the chicken sandwich instead and got some onion rings with it. The chicken sandwich was really good; juicy, crispy, no complaints. I was full after eating half and splitting the onion rings with my friend. Onion rings were okay, but didn't appear to be homemade. We appreciated the ranch to dip it in. Before leaving we took our photo next to the cute garden wall with a shiny neon sign that read "Making Pour Decisions!" So punny!! I don't live around the corner, so I probably won't be back anytime soon, but the food is good. We appreciate the servers remedied any of the errors graciously and felt like we were treated with respect. This place is a great diner themed bar with a relaxed vibe. I'd recommend trying them out if you're in town.

This is a Sweet and spicy stuffed egg, candied cajun thick cut bacon, charred poblano pepper garnish. These are good, but the taste aren't fully complimentary. The bacon was a little tough, however they are overall enjoyable. I was going to have their Bbq Bolognese for my entree, however they changed their menu sometime in the past, but didn't update their websites dinner menu! I got their Smoked Meat Trio ($32) instead. This has Ribs, Brisket, and Turkey. Along with Mac n Cheese and a veggie plus some Cornbread. This was a massively disappointing meal. The ribs were not tender at all, thankfully they were tough, just not tender. They tasted okay, very average at best. The brisket on the other hand was tough and not very tasty at all, definitely below average. The turkey was my favorite and the only thing I fully ate, however their was something not right. Is it frozen turkey or another thing, not sure. The bbq sauce on the meats was also okay, but nothing I would order. The mac n cheese was good. It actually tasted unique and is something I would order again. The cornbread was my favorite thing, not even colse to the best I've had, but very good. The service now was fantastic. Very friendly and everyone seems happy. Overall a 3 star review. Would I return? No, the fact they had Deviled eggs brought me in. However nothing I had makes 30 minutes travel time worth it. I would definitely skip the smoked meats! The popcorn you get when you're sat is highly enjoyable though.
