Went on a Saturday afternoon, the place is definitely a vibe, had lots of seats and games available and some cool decorations. It was sit yourself when we went, and our waitress was very nice and gave us updates. I got the rodeo burger and it was very tasty, with the onion ring and bacon. We pass through this area quite a bit and finally stopped in for lunch. The ambience is very cool with quite a few arcade games and pool. Good menu options for people of all ages and staff was really friendly. My husband and I split the BLT wrap which was pretty good but the star of the show was the soft pretzel. It was ginormous (as labeled in the menu)...the biggest pretzel I've ever seen, and absolutely delicious. My husband and I have eaten it for 3 meals now we had so much leftover. I will go back here for the pretzel alone, next time with a group though! My only recommendation would be to provide more dipping sauces to go with it! read more

Great bar! Staff is on point! The staff is making sure that you have what you need. The selection of beers is fantastic! Plus any other alcohol that you might want. They have a great patio! This place is a neat little hang out in Belding. For the appetizer our waiter recommended the Santa Fe Rolls- like an egg roll, but instead filled with chicken, corn, black beans, Mexican cheese, and a served with a mexiranch-like sauce. They came out VERY hot, I did burn the roof of my mouth. They reminded me of Taquitos, but way more superb! For my meal I had the Chicken Club, the bun was nicely toasted, the chicken was juicy, and they did not skimp out on toppings. Only reason I'd give 4 stars instead of 5, our table was kinda sticky, not dirty, but like the resin on the table and the cleaning supplies give it a weird stick to it. I also wish they had easier access to their menus online either on their website (which seems to be down or just not user friendly), or posted on their Facebook page for guests to look at ahead of time. Well this place was a surprise. Walked into a very industrial type craft beer establishment. We were welcomed and had a seat at the bar, where we were greeted by a very friendly bartender with prompt service. Of course it wasn't real busy but it had enough people in it not to feel like we stood out. Seems like a lot of locals hang here, there was a lot of chatter back and forth between the staff and the tables, which made it very comfortable. They have a nice little gaming area as well as enough space for groups. The food look good though we did not eat, but the beer menu tasted delicious LOL. read more

We wanted to try different restaurants every month and we came here for the first time. We didn't get an appetizer because we are on a health kick right now. The backyard burger was great my husband said. I had a sex on the beach drink which was really good. I had a all beef wet burrito and it was fantastic. It came with some tortilla chips around the burrito. I had tomatoes, lettuce and wet burrito sauce around the burrito. The food was awesome. There is plenty of room and tables in the restaurant to eat. The restaurant has a outside eating where you can bring your dogs while you eat. The service was good and she was on top of keeping our drinks filled. It was clean and quaint. I would recommend trying this place. read more

Was happily surprised by this place! Had my favorite drink (rubeus on tap) and the bar tender even made a special drink for my partner. Tried one of their salads and was happy with it! They have a GIANT pretzel on their menu (did not try) but looks like a yummy app to share. We were in last night and that will be the last time I'm not sure how much focus is put on the food they are serving. We got poutine which the gravy tasted like it was out a jar. The mushroom burger really didn't have any mushrooms and what was on it tasted old. The rueben had no sauerkraut on it. I'm a foodie and I expect the food to be at least edible. Nice new bar in Belding. All 20 taps are dedicated to Michigan craft beers. They even had Starcut cider on tap. We had a few of their beer selections and tried an order of their onion rings. I haven't been inside in a while, so this really applies to early 2017. If you've noticed big improvements, refer to other reviewers. The concrete bar is very cool, the tap tree is very intelligently designed. The owner has the precision of a craftsman and many forward thinking ideas. There were almost too many beers to choose from, but that's the direction Michigan brewpubs are going in. I had heard the owner was getting his own brew in there, I don't know if it's happened yet, but that is very exciting if that happened. Wait times for meals were an issue in 2017, I cannot say that applies to today. I'm always impressed when business owners succeed in Belding due to the persistently low income in our community and therefore highly competitive nature of local business. Again, more recent reviews will give you the evolution of the Tavern, which is a craft beer lover's dream come true. read more

THE BEST little gem found in good ole Belding and something the town needed. Great service (they even write your name on the counter when sitting at the bar so they can call you by name!) and the atmosphere is great. Lots of brews to choose from and can enjoy some fried macaroni and cheese while sippin on your drink. Love going here when in town and would definitely recommend stopping in! read more
