This place is a neat little hang out in Belding. For the appetizer our waiter recommended the Santa Fe Rolls- like an egg roll, but instead filled with chicken, corn, black beans, Mexican cheese, and a served with a mexiranch-like sauce. They came out VERY hot, I did burn the roof of my mouth. They reminded me of Taquitos, but way more superb! For my meal I had the Chicken Club, the bun was nicely toasted, the chicken was juicy, and they did not skimp out on toppings. Only reason I'd give 4 stars instead of 5, our table was kinda sticky, not dirty, but like the resin on the table and the cleaning supplies give it a weird stick to it. I also wish they had easier access to their menus online either on their website (which seems to be down or just not user friendly), or posted on their Facebook page for guests to look at ahead of time. I added two photos of the menu with this review.

Well this place was a surprise. Walked into a very industrial type craft beer establishment. We were welcomed and had a seat at the bar, where we were greeted by a very friendly bartender with prompt service. Of course it wasn't real busy but it had enough people in it not to feel like we stood out. Seems like a lot of locals hang here, there was a lot of chatter back and forth between the staff and the tables, which made it very comfortable. They have a nice little gaming area as well as enough space for groups. The food look good though we did not eat, but the beer menu tasted delicious LOL.

This is a nice place to try in Belding. Loved the decor and the food was good. We had tacos! We were there during a quiet time and enjoyed the ambiance.

We wanted to try different restaurants every month and we came here for the first time. We didn't get an appetizer because we are on a health kick right now. The backyard burger was great my husband said. I had a sex on the beach drink which was really good. I had a all beef wet burrito and it was fantastic. It came with some tortilla chips around the burrito. I had tomatoes, lettuce and wet burrito sauce around the burrito. The food was awesome. There is plenty of room and tables in the restaurant to eat. The restaurant has a outside eating where you can bring your dogs while you eat. The service was good and she was on top of keeping our drinks filled. It was clean and quaint. I would recommend trying this place.

This is a great little place. Tons of craft beer selections, awesome food and good service. Great atmosphere. We had the pretzel (HUGE! Think normal pretzel x3) and poutine (kinda like warm but good flavor). We had buffalo chicken wrap, rueben and Cobb.

Clean, friendly, cute atmosphere. Stopped in here on a quick trip through town. Had a cider and then a beer. Ordered the bone in 6 piece Buffalo wings. Everything was delicious and the bartender was attentive, Ann was her name. There were only a few people in there at the time. I would go again.

Good spot for bar food, it's not high cuisine but it doesn't usually disappoint. Service has been solid in every visit.

Mac and cheese was decent. Pulled pork was great. Service was quick. The family meal had 6 corn bread muffins, 1.5lbs of pulled pork, 6 buns, fries, and mac and cheese. Their house made pickles were very tasty as well.

And to add insult to injury, our bartender forgot to add the bitters till after my sip. Pro move. Classic lack of mixology training. Now comes the best part of our evening. Should have listened to the kind old man at the previous stop to avoid this rebranded failed establishment. Our food has arrived tucked neatly in aluminum foil packets. I ordered ribs, kielbasa, Mac & cheese, and baked beans. My wife had brisket, Mac & cheese, and Brussel sprouts. Why did everything come in aluminum foil pouches. We were just told that everything just came off the smoker. Clearly it had NOT. Both of our meals were sooooooooooooooo SALTY that there was not enough water in the restaurant to get back the loss of moisture in our bodies. If I was a hunter, I would have used our meals to bait deer. Perfect little pouches of salt licks. Yes! We brought to the staff's attention. They were kind to take our meals off our bill and give us a gift card to use on our next visit. That was kind of them. But, the gift card has no use, because it has NO monetary value. It's just blank, nothing was loaded on it. The QR code just takes you to calling the restaurant. Classic marketing move. Back to our SALTY meals. They were so salty that I had to pull over to some random home and use their garden hose to get water. Burned my mouth from the hot hose water. I even feel bad for the late evening Trash Pandas. Maybe that's why we saw so many of them dead along the road. They died from dehydration from all of the salty scraps from the restaurant. I was so hopeful. We thought that after the rebrand from being Big Boiler Brewing and its failures they would have learned. Our advice, listen to your elders and NEVER go to the Hop Hog. Drive by. Keep going. Arby's is a little further down the road. They have the "MEATS".

Every bite consumed. Everything on their menu is absolutely a home run! My oldest and wife had the house made veggie burger - it was perfectly seasoned and cooked. My youngest had the pulled pork. The flavor of the pork was nothing like we'd ever tasted before - Smokey and savory, but a huge taste of brown sugar without being overly sweet. Not sure how the maestro in the kitchen/on the smoker pulled that magic trick. I had the most amazing bowl of chili. Smokey and robust, full of beans and meat - everything you want in a chili, but done so perfectly well you just don't know how they pulled it off. And if you want something to close out your meal, the marshmallow & nutella flatbread is heavenly. It's like a less messy, better smore. The food in one word: magical. And their beer is NOT to be missed. Every beer I tried was well balanced, flavorful, and clean. I'd been curious about how the space had been transformed, so Nate and I stopped in recently while in town. The main building now houses a fresh market, coffee shop, gift shop, cider bar, and a bespoke barbershop. There is another building on the premises that is a separate boutique store called Pink & Frillos, but that wasn't open when we stopped by. It's a little bit of a lot of things, but what we experienced was nice. They also rent some part of the place as an event venue. I'm not sure if they still do u-pick apples, hayrides, corn mazes etc. or not. We ordered a meat, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich, a couple coffee drinks, and a doughnut. The employees were not overly friendly or even really smiling, so I agree that they could have been friendlier - they all seemed to be high school or college age. Our order was done quickly and we settled in to eat. The sandwich was hot and the croissant was buttery and soft. I really liked the crispy bacon on the sandwich. It was a good portion to split along with the cinnamon sugar doughnut, which was fresh and fluffy. My oat milk latte was decent but nothing special. They use Madcap coffee at Frugthaven. Overall we had a nice time and I'd come back to try the hard cider. There's some outdoor seating and the bar area looked spacious and airy. The old timey barbershop is cool, but feels a bit weird and out of place. Otherwise the other elements of the business seem to fit. They seem to be catering to an older/Millennial crowd that wants a good shot for Instagram, versus the more family-friendly farm that it used to be. Nothing wrong with that, just something to note, especially if you knew it before.
