We were looking for a place to stay as hurricane Irma was hot on our heels, and after calling several campgrounds to no avail, Bill Hatcher answered the phone and told us they had plenty of open sites. Mr. & Mrs. Hatcher were friendly and genuinely concerned for our safety, making us feel right at home. This was definitely one of the nicest campgrounds we've been to, with all the hookups. Though we didn't, you can actually look through all the campsite photos on their website before choosing which one you want, which is awesome. They don't sell firewood, but Mr. Hatcher said we were welcome to pick up dead branches we found, which some places don't allow, and there was plenty of wood! We do have an axe, which was very helpful. Bluff Creek Campground is the perfect inexpensive place to stay and we wish we'd stayed longer! read more
