Plus, it was barely playground weather, but you take what you can get in November in Ohio. Baby K loved it: there are several slides, and some climbing areas, including a climbing wall. Off to the side there is a hockey-themed climbing area for bigger kids, and a workout area for adults with a grownup-style climbing wall. There's a shelter nearby, and benches, and the whole park is nicely laid out. We'll be back.

Add to my experience, a family of obvious locals who blocked the areas where most patrons would walk, and I get the feeling they did it on purpose as a show of force from the 'hood. While there, the lights went out for a section of the building. That is a scheduled and planned light-out due to an hourly attempt to allow the kids to 'party out'.

There's plenty of parking, a boat ramp, places to do some fishing, and picnic tables! It's also a very pet friendly park! The Riverwalk is also a fun place to host events, both for the city and privately. The new, state of the art bridge has a stage set up beneath it with lights and is the perfect place for a concert. The grass area in front of the stage is like an amphitheater of sorts, where people can bring their own chairs and enjoy the atmosphere. Lastly, there's a brand new foot bridge that takes you across main street and directly to Columbus' soccer fields and the Hitching Lot Farmer's Market on summery weekends!

I took my 2 year old and walked down to Moon Lake where I used to love running. Other than the duck n geese poop everywhere, including walk path, it was the same. It has a nice, wide walk path all the way around the lake and nature trails off of one end.

First time here! Was shocked to find available tent sites near the water a month out from booking!…read moreOpted to come here to meet a friend coming from Columbus. This location is about 30 minutes from LaGrange. It's a smaller campground area, with maybe a .75 mile radius from the center of the grounds. Keith, the front gate guy, was really awesome and helpful. Campsites are about a mile from park entrance and easy to find. They have a peninsula for tents and then separate sites for drive-up. There's a boat ramp with dock, and then 2-3 mini docks. Grounds are clean! The bathrooms are excellent with high power water in the showers, and a very nice laundry room. On the grounds, they've got a separate pavilion area about a half mile from the camp sites with day picnic tables and bathrooms. Parking is included with your stay. They also have a firewood delivery service, which is super convenient! Sites have a grill for cooking and smaller fire pit area, along with a picnic table. Beautiful views and easy access to everything. My only complaint is that the trails here are very unkempt and not easily recognizable. I had hoped for some hikes but just stuck to riding my bike. Overall, would recommend!
