I enjoyed listening to these beautiful waterfalls inside the Lakewood Park in Phenix City Alabama. This is a large park nestled in a well established neighborhood. I think the name of the neighborhood is the same as the park. I hate to leave this peaceful space and I can't wait to return soon.

Plus, it was barely playground weather, but you take what you can get in November in Ohio. Baby K loved it: there are several slides, and some climbing areas, including a climbing wall. Off to the side there is a hockey-themed climbing area for bigger kids, and a workout area for adults with a grownup-style climbing wall. There's a shelter nearby, and benches, and the whole park is nicely laid out. We'll be back.

Columbus Riverwalk is a pristine and beautiful park in the heart of downtown Columbus, Mississippi…read more I love going for walks/runs down the miles of trail that starts at the river and go into a serene woods setting. There's plenty of parking, a boat ramp, places to do some fishing, and picnic tables! It's also a very pet friendly park! The Riverwalk is also a fun place to host events, both for the city and privately. The new, state of the art bridge has a stage set up beneath it with lights and is the perfect place for a concert. The grass area in front of the stage is like an amphitheater of sorts, where people can bring their own chairs and enjoy the atmosphere. Lastly, there's a brand new foot bridge that takes you across main street and directly to Columbus' soccer fields and the Hitching Lot Farmer's Market on summery weekends!

The community center right across has a sign stating 'no public restrooms'. Also it was closed and I'm not sure why it's called a community center. A lady at park said u can rent out rooms but I was hoping to do some arts n crafts or some kind of kids program while I'm here visiting. If u need bathroom be prepared to drive to other parking lot at moon lake or walk all the way down. We enjoyed the small splash pad and swings. I took my 2 year old and walked down to Moon Lake where I used to love running. Other than the duck n geese poop everywhere, including walk path, it was the same. It has a nice, wide walk path all the way around the lake and nature trails off of one end.

Gone are the dancing waterworks. The educational displays shows signs of neglect. This year the water is turbid neon green, reflecting full slimy algae bloom!
