Service was ok. Pedicure was serviceable but nothing to brag about. Facility was clean and nice.

I called Blush Nail Salon about 45 minutes before I wanted to come in and made an appointment for a gel manicure and pedicure. When I arrived they seated me immediately. The same girl who did my pedicure also did my manicure. I appreciate it when they try and speed up the process by having one person start your manicure as the other person is doing the pedicure, but they didn't have enough people on staff to do this. The woman who did my nails was efficient and friendly. However, her efficiency at doing my nails didn't match my perfectionist standards. As she was trimming my cuticles she nicked my pinky finger along the nail line. It drew a tiny bit of blood, which I'm sure she noticed yet didn't acknowledge. After she was done with my nails I examined them noticing that the lines were messy and uneven around each nail. It wasn't bad enough to make her re-do it, but when you look up close it is definitely noticeable. My pedicure was good and I enjoyed it, so no complaints there. My experience here was okay but not good enough to make me want to return. I didn't get the impression that the lady who did my nails was actually concerned about how they looked. She was more concerned about just getting the job done but not doing it well. read more

Being new to the area I am always super nervous about finding a new spot! So I did a bit a pre reading and saw some reviews. I am glad I did :) the tinted front windows do give a strange vibe (they face the sun). But once you walk in it's very nice! Not a ton of parking especially when a truck and trailer parked side ways ... plenty of area business to snap a spot. They have a nice selection of polish and were quite friendly. They have about 5-6 pedicure options. I opted for the Aloe Vera. Two things to note one of the best leg rubs I've ever gotten. I let the technician know this is my favorite part and this is one of the deciding factors. Two I have never had some one be so meticulous with painting my nails. For those reasons I will definitely be back! It was a Saturday afternoon around noon ...not a ton of patrons, but it was getting busier as I was leaving. read more

I have been getting acrylic nails done for 20+ years. I mention this only to say that Im familiar with the steps involved in the process. I went in to try Blush for the first time today as a walk in. I walked into an empty store with two techs available and asked for a refill on my acrylics with gel polish. The entire service took 30 minutes, and I wish I could say that was because they were super pro. Instead, I'm disappointed to say that I paid a premium price to be treated roughly and to see that several steps were either rushed or skipped along the way. To begin with, I was given exactly 4 "cards" of nail colors to choose from. I thought this was a small selection, but I wrote it off initially thinking that this store appeared to specialize in dip. It was only when other customers came in later and I saw my same tech hand them the entire ring of about 20 cards that I realized I'd been shorted. I don't know what that was about. Also strangely, the technician seemed annoyed from the jump that I wasn't holding my arms and fingers out in a way that she needed. (Despite there being no aids or pads to help me do so) I get that this part is quite critical, so I my did my best to accommodate her. It seemed like she just wanted to make a point of things, no matter what I did. I've never had anyone be frustrated with me for this before. As I said previously, I know that she skipped several steps in the process that may not be essential, but certainly make for a better manicure and appearance, like trimming cuticles and drilling the backside of your nails to clear out debris and nail growth. Sometimes people do these in slightly different order, so I had hoped they would all come in to play. They did not. At this point, I was still kind of wondering if maybe this was a one time bad experience or perhaps I was making it out to be worse than it was. But then I was hurried through the UV process, with the tech telling me several times to take my hand out before the 60 second period had ended. I said politely that I'd prefer to get the full 60 seconds, and she scolded me. This is when I definitely knew it was not all in my head, and I would not be coming back. Maybe 10 seconds doesn't make much of a difference to my nails, but it definitely made me feel like, as a new customer, I was not even worth those seconds. It sounds weird to say, but I felt like I was getting my nails done by someone I had recently had a fight with. And what's weird about this is that we really didn't even talk at all other than her taking a phone call during the service. It was definitely a bad experience. I just started getting my nails done again after a few months off, so if anyone has a recommendation, I'd be into it. read more

Don't let the tinted windows of this establishment turn you off. I mean, they are black to the point where the business looks closed but it is not. It is simply to keep the sun out due to the building facing. I visited on a Tuesday and called ahead to be sure I didn't need an appointment but let them know I'd be in around 5:30. I was early actually when I arrived and I was the only client at that time. Besides one other person that came in, I was all they had. They have only been open just over a year. The look of the solan is very clean, beautiful tile floors and no gaudy wall paint or anything which is nice while you're waiting. The reason I gave a four was simply because I asked For a diamond design on my ring finger which was forgotten about. However, the work and attention put into what I wanted was very good and much appreciated. I don't always speak up and I'm pretty easy to please so I'm not much trouble but I was this visit lol. I usually wear short nails but I wanted something different and since I haven't had nails or anything done to them I'm over a year as I had a baby I went for it. I also had a pedicure which was great. They do use the shaved which I personally don't mind. So if it's not for you make sure you're aware. He actually sanitized it piece by piece in front of me as well before placing with the other items to be officially sterilized in the machine. I visited this nail shop to take my daughter whom is a college student there for ombre nails. The first mistake was not asking for the cost of the service. Afterwards, the nail tech told me the cost was $70 for said nails; unbelievable! I quickly glanced at the nails and I turned back to the nail tech, because she had to be mistaken. I do not mind paying for quality, but this was clearly a rush or an incompetent job. These nails were not worth $70, but note to self, ask for the price first. Extremely unhappy with my service. Got gel nails. They did not cut my cuticles or the skin around my nails. They did not put lotion on my hands or arms nor did they use a hot towel. I feel like they half assed my manicure. I was not happy so I did not leave a tip. I paid for me and my friend. I had to leave before they finished with my friend. I was hoping this was going to be great because of how close I live to it, but it wasn't :( My nail tech seemed rushed and wasn't very thorough. My nails came out so streaky at first and I asked her to do it again and she seemed very annoyed. There are bubbles and fuzz stuck in my nails and I was charged $95 for a gel mani/pedi. I went here the first time I got my nails done ever. The nail technician was rude and kept getting mad at me because I didn't know how to position my hands. The second time I went here I worked with the same nail technician. She did a rushed job on my nails and several of the nails came out wrinkly and chipped. She made me put the cuticle oil on myself because she was starting a pedicure on someone else. I said something to her about it and she said it was just the cuticle oil which it was not. After reading reviews, I was excited to give this salon a try. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The woman helping me was rather unfriendly and my gel manicure looks very messy. She took no time at all to clean up my cuticles (which always need help as I use so much hand sanitizer at work!), which I believe is contributing to their appearance. Additionally, she seemed irritated when I inquired as to whether the tools she was using had been cleaned, as I did not see her remove them from sterile packaging. it was decent. they immediately seated me and did my pedicure although it was okay, it was a quite short pedicure. but my issue is that the polish was horrible, it's not that hard to do a decent paint job but he couldn't manage to do that. i mean absolutely the sloppiest work he could've done. i also got my brows done but they did great on them. decent prices, not too expensive but also not quite worth the money, i think it really depends on which nail tech you get. read more

I started going here not to long after they were open, nice, clean and took time which made for a great experience. Prices are around the same as others in the area. One problem is they have gotten so busy they they rush thru service and they don't look as good and they crack or break. The only thing different is they rush and don't pay attention to detail like they did. I know they are there to make money but since getting this done isn't cheap I expect a good job and one that last for the amount of time they tell you it will. Not in 3 or 4 days. It's also gotten to be a problem getting in either by walk in or appt. they apparently forget the customers that came when they first opened, not a good idea. I've also noticed the clientele looks a little questionable and ruff around the edges if you know what I mean! They have people just waiting on someone and they are eating, using the restroom and make it so crowded it feels claustrophobic since it's a long and narrow room. This wasn't the case at first so if they prefer those people for clients virtually pushing their regular customers aside so be it. Actions speak louder than words so I won't be back. People that work have a short amount of time and can't make serveral trips to get in nor do they want to since they are not the only ones in town. They need to remember their oldest customers and hire more people, if not they won't have any customers!!! They are also short and seem agitated when you ask for an appt. and of course to busy to take you, to bad they aren't consistent when I'm in there and they take everyone that walks in and then rush to get mine done. read more
