I went in for Brazilian blow out, it was horrible experience! I was very frustrated because it stayed 3 days only as soon as I washed my hair with advised product. It first, I thought it was my hair! I reviewed several videos and it was supposedly to stay at least 8 weeks!! I asked her to redo it or refund the money she highly refused! When I said you lost a customer, she offered to send me a relaxer!! I refused! What I will do with relaxer beside what I paid for $120.00!! I wasn't satisfied with her service at all and still wonder what did she put in my hair!! She wasn't even "parting" my hair like professional, which I noticed. I thought it will be rude to say something. She's friendly, but horrible in coming to fix mistakes and satisfy her customers!! I planned to go back with other relatives but my results were horrible. Blush salon is by far the best salon I have ever been serviced. As a male, I typically am careless about my looks and I tend to let my hair grow months at a time. I walked in to a lovely greeting from Dina Brown, with a warm smile. I told her I had no preference, but when she took a look at my hair, she recommended a few ideas in detail for my hair. We ended up going with more of a '50s vintage look. She gave me much more than I expected and I couldn't be happier with my new hair. As far as location, I typed the address in to my phone and it led me strait to the salon, no problem finding it whatsoever. I am extremely happy with the work Dina did for me, and my confidence is boosted by 110%. Two thumbs up. I highly recommend this salon for all ages, man or woman. read more

DO NOT purchase Blush Salon/Dina's Groupon for hair services!! I purchased a full balayage, w deep conditioning and styling as a gift for my daughter's 17th birthday. I called within minutes of purchase to make an appointment. The message said there was availability on February 7th, 8th & 9th which was perfect because the 8th is my daughters birthday. Dina said the best way to schedule an appointment was to text her because she was busy and she would respond. I sent a text and asked to schedule an appointment for the 8th and requested confirmation which never happened. I called back 2 hours later and the message had changed and so did the dates she was available, which was no longer the 7-9th. It was the following week. Obviously she had time to check her phone messages and change the dates she was available, but yet she couldn't take the time to respond to a text; after she said that was the best way to schedule?! I sent another text this morning telling her I would have to cancel my Groupon if I didn't hear back by 10:00am. She finally responded and told me it was best to cancel my order. Sorry Dina, but this is not the way reputable people do business. I would highly NOT recommend having services done at Blush Salon by Dina in Edmonds, WA. read more

Dina did an excellent job with my haircut and color (balayage/ombré). Reasonable price and very relaxing, quaint salon. I returned a week later to ask Dina to blend my natural color with the lighter color as I felt there was a distinction between the two, and she had the great idea to add lowlights, at no extra cost. I absolutely adore my hair color and style and will return to Blush Salon for all my future hairstyling endeavors. Highly recommend! read more

So so disappointed. I bought a groupon for a cut, color and conditioning with Dina. I needed my hair done for an upcoming work trip. I called and left a message, she returned my call and we scheduled an appointment for the upcoming Saturday at 9:30 am. I arranged childcare for my two kids. I woke them up early, dropped them off with the babysitter, and drove 30 minutes to the salon. I was so excited. Not only did I really NEED this appointment, but I was really looking forward for a couple hours of me time. I walked in a couple minutes early. Gayla, one of the other stylists was there working on a client. She greeted me and I told her I was there for Dina. She told me she would be there any minute. So I said "Great, no problem, I'll gonna go grab a coffee real quick." So I went up the street, grabbed a latte and came back. It was probably 9:33. Gayla told me Dina wasn't there yet but to have a seat and she would be there soon. Again, no worries, I sat down with my latte and waited, Ten minutes passed. Gayla tried calling Dina's cell. Nothing. She double checked the appointment book. I was on there, 9:30 am. She called her again. Nothing. Twenty minutes pass. Now I'm concerned. Gayla was super apologetic and tried calling her again. Nothing. At this point, I'm realizing "Oh man...she's really not coming." Gayla approached me, said how very sorry she was and told me that she would do my hair for free, but that she was all booked up that day. I told her I already paid for the service via groupon. She said she would compensate me somehow in order make it right... Although there wasnt much that could be done for the lost time and trouble I went through to arrange childcare. Plus, I NEEDED my hair done then. I was LOOKING FORWARD to it so much. I am a single mom, this was something I wanted and needed to do for myself. What a huge let down. I actually couldn't help it, I cried right there in the lobby out of sheer frustration. Such a crappy Saturday morning. Gayla was very sympathetic. She offered to come in the following Wednesday evening and do my hair. I said okay and left (in tears). After 30 minutes, I called her back and said while I appreciate the offer, I just cant make Wednesday evening work. She said she understood, and again apologized and said she would make it right. She told me she would call me back and arrange a time that worked for me to do my hair. That was yesterday. I haven't heard from anyone at the salon. I thought that at the very least I would get a phone call from Dina to apologize for wasting my morning. But no, nothing. I haven't heard back from Gayla, although I understand it is still early so I am hoping that I still will. Hopefully soon, because like I said, I have a work trip that I need this done for. I am in the process of seeing of I can get a refund from groupon. If I hear from Gayla and get a chance to get my hair done from her, I will update my review... I would like to mention that SHE was very nice, and as accommodating as she could be in that situation. It wasn't her fault. But I'm extremely disappointed that I have had zero communication from Dina. I am a pretty understanding and forgiving person. I understand things happen, but bottom line is that she really put me in a bind. She stood me up with no explanation and STILL has yet to reach out. Very unprofessional. Very rude. I really thought I was going to like this place, and hopefully, there is still a chance I will. But until I hear from someone there and get some sort of resolution, I maintain my poor review...(with emphasis on the fact that is a poor review on Dina, not Gayla). read more

I will start by saying I hold customer service in the highest regard and I am very particular about my hair and salon experience. I love my hair and loved my experience and will be a regular here. I have dyed my hair 2 drastic tones for the last 10 years, and my hair can be difficult. Dina took her time, listened to what I wanted and carefully chose my product and technique while she explained her process step by step. It is clear Dina is passionate about her work and her ultimate goal aside from pleasing her customers, her main priority is the integrity of your hair and having been to stylists that promise what you want then explain afterward why it didn't turn out as expected, I so appreciate the time she took to go over my goals, my hair health and the best steps to achieve the color and look I desired. I also cut at least 12 inches off and was so apprehensive! my style and cut is so refreshing and fun. The salon is adorable and in a great location which was a plus but regardless I will follow Dina wherever she goes as a stylist, she is my hair guru. read more

I was in desperate need of a haircut while walking around downtown Edmond today. All the other barber shops were closed so I walked up to Blush Salon thinking they didn't service male clientele. I was greeted at the door by two ladies who were both already with clients. I inquired as to whether or not they might be able to cut my hair today day, as they were both currently with clients. Dina politely answered my inquiry with a resounding "Yes we can, in about 10 minutes." I smiled and thanked them and returned 10 minutes later to find Dina waiting for me, scissors and clippers at the ready. Dina began to inquire as to the style I preferred, being a Man I have no idea what that even means. I said "Just work your magic and make me less ugly than I am now" The attention to detail and time she took to accommodate a walk in MALE customer was above and beyond. I walked in looking like a mop and walked out looking like a movie star in roughly 45 mins. I am Exceedingly happy with the haircut I received. Dina was always polite and bubbly, She took the time to get to know me which added the nice personal touch. In the end I have, easily, one of the best hair cuts of my life. I will defiantly be returning for my next cut, I have found my new Stylist. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone, thanks in large part to Dina and her thoughtful and friendly demeanor.
