The new appointment was for the next week. When the day came, NO SHOW. I called and the lady told me that their other estimator was in Florida and asked to reschedule again. I said no thank you. How can they not even get estimations scheduled right. It's your first impression with the customer. Also, if someone is dealing with a basement flooding issue, this is not the kind of response you'd want to deal with. Do not recommend.

Flooding immediately from the garage door. They refuse to fix it because Anne Arundel County installed the grate in front of the garage door, with a drain pipe leading to a sump pump just inside the garage. After 6 years of floods, I finally recognized the problem: Action had removed the drain pipe and replaced it with drain tile that cannot handle heavier rains, causing the grate to overflow and flood the garage. Action never documented their visits, so this summer I tried something different: I made an appointment saying I had additional work, not warranty work, done. When the inspector showed up, I let HIM identify the problem, pointing out the issue was the drain tile that replaced the County's pipe can't handle the load. The inspector then refused to honor the warranty--again--but offered to have an Action foreman and crew come out and "fix my problem" for $1,000 cash. Still nothing in writing. Wondering how "corporate" was implicated (was this unofficial policy--avoiding honoring Lifetime Guarantees, potentially saving tens of thousands in repeat work?, or would the owners be upset that its employees were performing unpermitted and unauthorized work for untaxed income?). I received a text with the name of the foreman coming on the weekend and waited. They arrived in company trucks and uniforms. I took pictures and told them to leave. I went to the police station and tried to file a complaint but they said to report it to the MHIC first. I did and, again, waited. Today, the MHIC rejected the complaint as being 3 years past the original work. Time to file that police complaint and hire an attorney. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

Most recently Cass and Nathan were here to install a wireless rain detection device. While on site, they adjusted spray head coverage as we requested, and installed a special back-flow valve to prevent a downhill spray head from draining the uphill line into unwanted puddles. While the roof itself was completed, the lack of professionalism and total absence of communication afterward has been unacceptable. The Issues: Negligence: After finishing the roof, the crew completely forgot to reattach the gutters. Lack of Communication: It took several phone calls just to get a response regarding the gutters. I have since tried to contact them multiple times in writing regarding other issues, and they have completely ignored my messages. Property Damage/Residue: Upon closer inspection, there is now visible residue inside my bathroom skylight left behind by the workers. HOA Violations: Because this is a rental property, the detached front downspout resulted in me receiving a violation notice from my HOA before I was even aware of the problem. As a property owner I rely on contractors to be thorough and responsive. Wells Home Improvement failed on both counts. If you are looking for a company that stands by their work and communicates with their clients, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.

We have chips of wood constantly falling in the pool and all around the room. The owners and the shingle rep know that this was installed incorrectly. Landmark did an extensive assessment of the roof in Kensington, submitted a report to our insurance company, a few more steps and reports as well as video to present and our insurance company replaced our roof for free. We paid out of pocket for new gutters and facia but saved approx. $6,500 for a new roof. There work is seamless and end results are beautiful. Communication is second to none and they provide a schedule so you know, and communicate with tenants, what is happening and when. Wonderful experience.

Our first contact with Petro Design/Build Group was with Tricia, who walked us through the process, answered our questions, and put us in contact with Kathleen to schedule our consultation. Tricia is very professional, personable, and a joy to talk to. Kathleen arrived at our home for the consultation - not just on time but early. Immediately, we were greeted with a smile and a kind nature. We walked her through the yard, and she asked us what we were looking for. She is extremely easy to talk to and is very engaging in listening and suggesting options. The whole time she took notes, which was refreshing to see since previous landscapers we consulted just nodded and provided a design that did not meet any of our needs. She evaluated the slope of our yard to determine the wetter areas and took measurements. When she was done, she told us she would have a design for us by the end of the following week. We had our consultation on Friday, and she actually had our design emailed to us that following Monday. She provided a detailed sketch with multiple concept options and walked us through each area of the design. She responded quickly and answered all of our questions completely. She was always patient and understanding and never once did the process feel overwhelming. For once, we felt included and comfortable with every step of the process. Once our HOA approved her design, we were scheduled in for the first phase of our landscaping project - the front yard. She arrived the first day, preparation day, before the landscaping installation team. She went over her design ensuring measurement and placement of plant beds. Once Matt and his team arrived, Matt and Kathleen walked through everything before the team started the planting prep. Matt and his team are very courteous, professional, and extremely hard workers. We have terrible soil in our yard. It is a new build, so not only hard clay soil but plenty of construction debris throughout. They powered through removing grass, manually tilling in compost (due to nearby utility lines), and hauling away all of the debris. The second day was planting day! Kathleen arrived with all of the native plants and the trees were delivered. Kathleen and her team laid out all of the plantings according to the design with a few last minute tweaks that were perfect. She then walked us through the layout and checked if we were happy with the layout before any planting occurred. The team did an amazing job of planting everything and incorporating a few transplants. I cannot say enough about what an amazing experience we have had! We are excited to start our next phase this in early fall.
