Do NOT pay until every last thing is finished. I was sent my final invoice before the job was done and trusted they would still finish and payed. Do not trust their word that they will make it back out. I reached out multiple times, was told "I'll have a guy come out Friday" on 3 separate occasions, and it now I'm a zero responses from them. I have been left with a half painted window and unclean job site. I will call that my mistake but it does show the integrity of this company. I wrongfully assumed that spending the amount of money we did came with integrity and customer appreciation. Maybe that's extra. ($70k+) We hired them to put a moderate sized addition off the back of our master bedroom on a ranch house. As soon as I made the final payment I was not able to get anyone out. -we were suppose to get black windows but they installed white. When it was brought up they told me they would paint them and have yet to complete that task. - they never returned to finish cleaning up the job site and fix all the dirt the moved away for the foundation. read more

These workers are dumping their trash all around the place...they spray silica, gypsum everything under the sky all around the place so it's super super toxic! Can't walk outside without a mask! The poor naive workers don't even bother to wear a mask when cutting toxic stuff like getting silica in their lungs! Not happy with these construction workers leaving all sorts of construction trash and whatever food trash(chips bags, plastic forks. Plastic water bottles, etc) they leave to fly around! Just throw trash right on the ground so that the wind can carry it everywhere! Chaotic mess! I wish I never moved here to Show Low. I hope these workers develop a conscious and quit dumping all over! No care and just a sloppy disaster zone! Regret moving to Show Low. Don't waste your money on these careless people that just want your money! Simply no attention to detail, no common courtesy, no work ethic....just get the job done quickly and sloppily. Literally every fixture is crooked and loose. One of them was converted to a single door. This required framing, siding, drywall, and even moving a vent. We are pleased with the nearly $100,000.00 worth of remodeling that was done, but we are not at all pleased with the customer service when something goes wrong. You pay them and then you never see them again if something goes wrong. The company takes no responsibility for their work when something was done incorrectly. The owner behaves like a child and then tries to place the blame on the client. All they had to do was show up and fix the chandelier that was installed incorrectly, BUT, they never did. So now, 5 months after we repeatedly asked them to fix the problem, we are paying someone else to fix the problem. I guess that $100,000.00 that we dumped into our home doesn''t come with a warranty of any sort. read more

BJ and team recently finished our basement and built us a home office. From start to finish they were extremely professional and highly responsive. We felt the cost was very reasonable and competitive and there were no surprises. The work was done in a very timely fashion and on schedule. The crew was very attentive to our home and very cautious bringing all materials in to ensure no damage to other areas and that the home remained as clean as possible during the build. They consulted with us throughout the project to make sure the end result was exactly as we wanted and immediately took care of any minor concerns we raised without question. The crew went above and beyond in fixing an existing issue with our sump pump water outlet without even being asked. Their pricing was about average -- not the most expensive nor the lowest priced of the estimates we had received for our project. The workmanship was also about average: - All workers were courteous and protected our other floors and carpeting with tarps and cleaned up the area at the end of each work day. - After the floor tile was laid, we ended up with a 1/2 inch crown in the floor over a 4 1/2 foot span. This made installation of baseboard a challenge. - Grout work was nicely done for the floor and the walls, but somewhat excessive in corners between walls and floor, walls and walls, and walls and ceiling. - Although we had requested and thought we had contracted for an oil rubbed bronze shower door handle and hinges, to match the shower and bathroom vanity fixtures as well as the towel bars, etc. However, the door came with matte finished black hinges and handle. Not perfect, but OK. With the weight of that door, I don't particularly think it would be a good idea to unscrew the hinges and screw in new hinges. Thus, we'll keep what was installed. Scheduling was good. - Delay due to countertop construction was managed quite well. - The project was completed in a timely manner. Communication with the contractor was average: - Good communication with Lisa (office manager) via email. - The owner, Matt, only showed up twice -- once to review the project for preparation of an estimate, and once shortly after the project had begun. - Matt never did stop by after the project was completed to examine it and to obtain any comments from us or address any of our concerns. read more

The guys did an amazing job prepping the space to protect what was staying and they paid great attention to detail on their work. BMF remodeled our entire home in 4 separate projects over 3 years. Bought the house new and while it was in great shape everything was dated and bathroom layouts weren't optimal. Got quotes from 4 contractors initially, with the intent to update the house over time without borrowing from the mortgage. Only 2 contractors actually quoted the projects as requested and we selected BMF because Matt understood what our goal was and offered great ways to make big improvements within budget. BMF always delivered on time and exceeded expectations.
