Jesse did an amazing job on our fences. He recommended a good quality vinyl fence, and it really is, the brand is Ecoopts. Once he had finished, I looked at my new fence and compared it to the one my neighbor has. I can tell already it is more whitish. The height of our fence is 48", which is not a very common size, so Jesse cut the 6ft height material into 4ft and routed all the new holes on the posts. Our fence came out fabulous. read more

I dont remember dealing with Jesse, but mostly Miguel. His price was very good compared to double and more with another company. I needed 3 gates, 2 being 12feet wide and 1 being 4ft. I showed him a custom deisgn I wanted, and they made it in the shop powder coated to the color I wanted. They did that all pretty well. Yes they are not the heaviest duty gates, and it wont stop a car from busting through..well after a couple hits. Sure they could also use thicker bolt anchors as well, and the touch up paint is not going to match the coating exact, so you are better off doing that yourself if you have a sharp eye for color. It was a very small spot, and its so close, I may deal with it when I'm super bored. But over all, I got a custom design with solid metal, and solid build...OH...The corner of the wall one door was going need re-enforcing due to the weight of the gate, and he and his guys came in and added wood studs on the inside of the wall framing to make that wall solid. I was having drywall done anyway, so it worked out. That was above and beyond. On the flip side, I asked him for a quote on a smaller job to cut out and insert a different pattern on a iron door, and he quoted me pretty high, so I am not sure how that works. I referred him to a family member, and he gave her a great price and did a nice job as well. Maybe in shop work is much less than on location? Either way, I am happy. I also want to point out in my experiences I learned the hard way, that having a license means jack-all!!!... when the company is a parasite feeding off scamming people. With good people and proper experience, I give ZERO points for paperwork. More often its a license to steal. This is a refrence to another review that didn't value experience and valued a license. This is not reality, as most with license dont even do the work. They give it to the guys that know what they are doing. read more

The communication from the get go was outstanding and Jesse was on right on the dot answering all of my questions. I saw the initial gate door on a photo that posted on craigslist . As soon as I saw it I knew it was the gate door I wanted. I got a couple of quotes from other companies for the same or similar gate doors, but BMG Ironworks offered a competitive price and honestly I got a really good feeling from the start. The scheduling and installation was above and beyond my expectations because Jesse was very flexible and understanding to a current situation my family was going through, so I had to reschedule on my end a couple of times . Today, my BEAUTIFUL gate door went up. Miguel and his helper came to install the gate door . They were extremely professional and friendly. So to start off we found this company through Yelp. We read all the reviews and hoped to be one of the satisfied customers. Unfortunately, we were not. It started off with our gate arriving on the first day we set up for installation In the wrong color. It came light grey and we asked for black. (It was even in his paperwork) we said ok, honest mistake, we can just set up another day. We are understanding people and things happen. They came a week or two later and installed the gate. We thought it was really nice but then start to notice things wrong. First, the planks were not fitted properly so the all started to shift and leave spaces in between the slats. We sent messages and called multiple times. We received messages after multiple text just saying they would have someone else call us. My husband finally just asked what kind of wood it was so he could just buy it and we could do it ourselves but received no answer. The other problem we had was the gate banged when it closed. He told us, after several texts, that the chain needs to be tightened after being used for a little. It's normal. We said that would have been nice to know and he would have someone call us. We never received a call from anyone and are still dealing with the issue. (Gate was installed in May) we have given up completely on this company. If they have your money then don't expect to see them again! I guess you can say you get what you pay for. I gave them plenty of time to fix their mistake before posting this review. Next time I'd pay a little more to get a professional owner that cares about the work they put out. read more

Worst experience ever. Fraudulent company. Operating without proper licence. Trying to get as much money as possible and changing their location very often. Person who do talking is Jesse. His so called partner Miguel and Jose (welder who is the best person in this company, but can't do much because he is just an employee). Completed part of the project (iron fences and side gates) with very poor paint job (powder coated). Every time that I saw Miguel he asked for the money (deal was 25% upfront and rest after completion,end up paying 50% without seeing any fence). Decided not to hire any one else because so much time was wasted and to complete the project with them. Jesse gave me quote for front small gate. I got the locks, made appointment with Jesse at new place(they moved again) drove 67 miles to drop the locks so they can start working on gate and found out that place is closed. Called Jesse he told me that he totally forgot, then called me back in 5 minutes and told me that Miguel wont do it for that price and he wants the double of the agreed price because I changed the style. Was trying to explain that I never changed the style and he has the picture that was previously provided but he didn't want to listen. Asked Jesse to find out the color and code for powder coating, so the other welder can match the color with the fences. He told me will provide it but never did. I will not recommend this company to anyone. It was a nightmare dealing with this company. read more
