Easy going. Competent. Human. I just needed a drill holed in a metal rack mount drawer. Called around, got the run around from folks who didn't want to bother. Finally caught Ryan, he quoted me exactly what I thought was a reasonable price to drill two simple circular holes. One of Ryan's techs did the work. (Tim?) I researched a couple of wrought iron fence and gate companies and then found Ryan at Paul George Iron works. I had him do our back fence/dog run and it turned out beautiful! So I called him back to do our front courtyard gate, and it turned out beautiful! You can get cheaper quotes, but you pay for what you get. My neighborhood has developed a pretty hefty coyote problem over the last year. I work long hours and have two small dogs. I also have a dog door in the slider to the backyard so the *boys* can get out to relieve themselves whenever they want. But when a neighbor's dog was killed by coyotes that jumped her 8' wall, I realized I needed to do something, and quick. My neighbor offered to let them in and out twice a day while I was at work, and he was an absolute godsend. Then he went on vacation for a few days, and I realized I needed a long-term permanent solution to protect my pups. So this neighbor and I came up with a plan: a dog run with a tunnel leading from the dog door to an opening in the dog run. I contacted Ryan at PaulGeorge Ind and he came over within the hour! I told him my situation (which he understood completely being a dog owner himself). He got to work on drawings and an estimate, but he admitted that wrought iron may not be the best way to go for the dog run since the sprinklers would cause rust fairly quickly, not to mention it would be very expensive. He suggested I contact a chain link fence company for the dog run, and then he could design an iron dog tunnel to fit the dog run opening. I did as he suggested, and when the chain link fence company came out to give an estimate, Ryan also came by to explain what kind of opening he would need. Once the dog run was done, Ryan created an amazing design that was not only protective of the dogs, but functional as additional seating for my patio! And the color we selected for the powder coating is perfect. (In fact, I've since had some of my patio furniture powder coated the same color. I couldn't be happier.) Fast forward to the installation day...I was so excited. It was EVERYTHING I imagined, but better. The main section is very heavy and a nearly-permanent fixture without having to bolt it into the slab. The section that crosses in front of the slider is removable for when guests come over (and is much lighter in weight. I'm 60 and can move it with a little elbow grease ). Anyway, I HIGHLY recommend Ryan for any wrought iron work/gate/fencing you may need. Because of him, I have peace of mind that my boys are safe while I'm away from home. Thanks again, Ryan! Is it possible to give 10 stars? They are definitely well deserved. I first contacted Ryan with the issue of a new gate I just had installed by another company the prior company measured the gate incorrectly and left a 4inch gap on the bottom of the gate were my small Yorkie was getting out. I contacted the company that goes by Jose Ironworks well it's not really a company just a guy scamming people that trust him Jose stop answering my calls. I was left with a gate that was not functional at all for me. If only I would have come by Paul George Industries to start with. Ryan went above and beyond customer service was amazing. Thrilled with our new gate! We had a large wrought iron gate that was torn off it's hinges in the last wind event we had. I explained our problem with the wind to Ryan, and he came up with a very heavy duty solution for us. Ryan designed a beautiful gate to my preferred style for our house. The metal in the new gate is much heavier, and the way they bolted it into the ground and wall is more secure than our previous one. Nothing flimsy about this gate!
