He penned me in right away today for a visit by his technician and when Ricardo arrived, he was polite, professional and thorough in his diagnostic exam of the TV. He interfaced by email and other communications directly to LG , and received a phone call shortly after from them and they spoke at a high tech level about the problem. Ricardo then quoted us different prices for several solution paths. We are most pleased with Day One Services. Let's review: * Immediately refunded my deposit * Continued investigation and found they DID get it ordered * Did not demand a new deposit * Continued tracking the package, even though it seemed to be lost - well beyond the expected Tuesday-Wednesday timeframe. * It arrived while I was at work, really didn't have time to fix it. But he called me up to let me know and we worked out a time - he personally promised to set that time aside for me. Brought in my MAC, an old Dell laptop, and several DVDs that I wanted transferred to a thumb drive…read more I needed to install the new OS for my MAC and didn't have enough room, so brought my computer in for them to clean out old files and install the new OS. Instead, they charged me $150 to install a new hard drive with more memory and failed to install the new OS. When I ran the update at home, I was locked out of one of my profiles. When I brought the MAC back, the man said, "What did you do?" and acted like I did something wrong for installing the newest update. I told him he didn't do what I had asked him to do. He fixed it, after mansplaining to me, and then told me he should charge me but was going to give me a break. The DVDs were going to cost $300 to transfer to the thumb drive, so I said I'd wait. He had told me it would cost me $80 to try and get any data off of the Dell laptop. So I left the computer there and said I'd comeback for the hard drive. To be fair, this was in April. I went in today to try and get the hard drive, and at first, they said they didn't know what I was talking about, and then tried to insist they had given it to me (they didn't) and then finally just said, "Well, we don't have it". If you choose to go here, get EVERYTHING in writing!

Not bad I found this guy on Yelp and I gave him a call he came over within an hour looked at my TV…read moreand told me what was wrong with it he picked up my TV I didn't even have to bring it to him I couldn't believe the settlement picked up this huge TV all by himself but he did have someone working with him I had to wait about three weeks for two separate parts to come in I think this is about a 45 inch screen not sure even though the wait was quite a bit he delivered it Set it up and it cost me less than $400 Yes I thought the price was pretty steep Considering I gave him $60 deposit and was told it would run around two $75-$300 And yes it took longer than I expected I could have for another television The warrantee is 90 days. I've had it back for a little over a week and it seems to be doing fine And I can finally catch up with The Walking Dead But now I'm upset because Cole got bit by a walker and I wasn't expecting that and now I'm in tears.
