I use Asurion all the time and at least 3 times this year, yes im clumsy lol, but service is always great and depending on what type of insurance coverage on your devices you could pay nothing but again it depends on what type of insurance coverage you have. Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I brought my son's iPad to UbreakiFix in August of 2020 with a faulty screen. I was told that screens were on back-order and it would take 'a little time" to get a repair, but I would be given a "great price". That was fine. I checked on the status of the repair more than once online, but there were no updates. In fact, no one contacted me until November of 2020. When I was finally contacted, an employee falsely claimed that the shop had repeatedly attempted to reach me by phone-that never happened. The shop only had my cellphone number, and my records establish the employee was not being truthful. Moreover, the promised "great price" was over $200. The same who misstated that he had called my cell multiple times asserted that to get any discount, I would be required to sign up for a monthly repair service. In my opinion, this is an awful franchise. read more

This establishment had great customer service in the beginning & great turn around time on getting the cracked screen repaired...but, initially once I came back (the same day) saying my phone's functionality was altered with the new screen & I couldn't do certain things anymore I was told to come back on a certain day, a new screen will be ordered for me and they replace it, no problem. It seemed to the associate that the new replacement screen was not compatible with my phone. I was asked when I brought it back was it an insurance claim and I specified it was but was still ASSURED to just bring it back and the screen will still be replaced free of charge. Now between drop off and pick up I was helped by two different associates. I come back on the day they asked to bring the phone in to have the new screen replaced and I'm now told that because it was an insurance claim they can't just replace the new screen that I have to call my cell phone provider and have it sorted out with them. My phone is slowly but surely losing more and more functionality with this new screen. I could have just stayed with my cracked screen and kept the functionality I had because it was still operating just fine up until the new screen replacement. This establishment either has to 1) function better with communication between associates and/or 2) train every associate thoroughly so that neither of them gives the wrong information. I don't see this place as providing even good customer service because they don't even honor their own word when it comes to something that was told to me as the customer. I feel cheated. I won't be doing business with this establishment or retail chain again. For those of you that still plan to use this place for phone repair needs, just make sure you deal with the same associate at drop off and pick up. If not, leave your phone there until the associate you dealt with is back in and finish the transaction that way. read more

Be aware of this store! This incident occurred on 6/14/2022. This store discriminates people with different race. Replacing my Samsung screen took them 2.5 hours (from 4 to 6:30 pm) and the customer who came in with the same race as the technician, while I was waiting at the store, was given 20 mins only to come back and pick up her I-phone with a new screen. Her problem seemed to be more complicated than mine. After 2 hours of waiting, when a technician came out, with my phone intact with a new screen, to ask my password for a test run, I asked them if I have my phone back, as it only needed to replace the cracked screen and I had to run to pick up my children. (Note that the SamSung store at Paramus replaces screen only, if cracked. They don't look at your phone inside.) He refused and came out in 5 minutes and told me that something is wrong with my phone. When I asked him what the problem was, he couldn't answer. I even told him that I will take a responsibility if anything is wrong with my phone, as I was paying out of my pocket, but he refused to give my phone back. I'm not sure what they were doing with my phone in the back room. As I was waiting at the store for over an hour, I learned that my phone was the only one that they were working on. While waiting at the store, a customer with the same race as the technician came in to replace her cracked screen. She was given only 20 minutes to come back and pick up her phone. Right after she left, they brought out my phone, saying sorry. I asked them why mine took 2.5 hours and hers would only take 20 minutes. They told me that replacing Samsung screen is more complicated than I-phone screen. So, it is more complicated that it took them 2 hours more to replace Samsung phone screen!? I think it is bs. When I left the store, driving back home, I assume the technician realized that what horrible thing that they did to me and called me three times to say sorry. I told him that I want his name and would tell his boss what happened and hung up. I'd like the business owner to review surveillance camera in the back room (if any) and investigate what went on in the back room and why they held back my phone that long, when I begged them to return it to me. read more

I took my Acer all-in-one to be repaired as it did not powered up. It took them 10 days and a lot of unanswered voice mails to tell me they cannot fix the computer. I literally had to go there 4 times to get updates as they never returned my calls and the few times someone answer the phone the knew nothing.. all they answer was 'I don't know.... the manager is not here... call back'. This place is the BEST in customer service! The glass for my camera broke and I brought it in to replace. They gave me an excellent price and fixed it promptly. They did the diagnostic and saw the camera was broken as well, not just the glass. They called me and said they can fix the camera, but it will take a day to get the part. I can pick up the phone and bring it back the next day. He refused to charge me anything even though he already replaced the glass, let me take my phone home without any guarantee that I would return the next day. He would only charge me once the job was complete. He also gave me a VERY fair price to fix the camera. All in all, the whole repair was under $100. I am a very satisfied customer, hope my phone won't break again, but if it did, this is the only place I would go to have it fixed. It was a fantastic experience! Highly recommend! read more

Dropped my phone at work yesterday and it cracked. Damn. Did some googling, found these guys and made an appointment online for this morning. They knew I was coming, had all the info they needed, and in about 90 minutes or so my phone looked like new. They did a great job. I highly recommend them! I chose this location over the Upper West Side one because I wanted to be able to drive and find easy street parking, which I did. Just know that the meters only take quarters (they're the old kind) so be sure to have a couple (30 mins per quarter, 1 hr max so you need to keep an eye on the time). Took my kid to the ChickFil-A down the block for lunch while they fixed my phone. Great experience all around. read more
