I made a purchase last month from this business through Back Market. I had high hopes because the 13 pro max arrived in beautiful shape...cosmetically but had to be returned since it did function properly. A shipping label was provided, the item was boxed up securely and taken to UPS for shipping. Things went from bad to worse quickly. I was told the box had arrived at the destination empty and it was even suggested that I might have forgotten to pack it. If so they would happily provide another shipping label. Seriously?!?! When I insisted that a full box was shipped out, they said they would investigate. Provided I was able to prove my identity. I don't know how many forms of ID it takes before you think your credentials might be stolen but the thought crossed my mind after submitting multiple forms. After going back and forth about the kind of forms and how they were submitted a new twist was added. Now I have to submit a police report!!! Against who I have no idea and the "Customer Champion" won't say. So here I am. almost a month later, no phone, no replacement, no refund and a $600 loss. read more

However, I paid express shipping for a phone case, and since the phone I bought was damaged, I spent a bunch of money for nothing and ended up losing money due to poor service. My only comment would be, their replacement screens are not the same quality of the original iPhone screen. While I do not personally care all that much. I broke the glass on my MacBook Pro. The only thing that broke was the glass, not the lcd screen itself. My laptop is 8 years old and I just use it for college so I got a few quotes. The other places were outrages prices to replace a glass that cost $15 dollars give or take. But tech plug had the best price and the service was great from the speedy replies to the nice guy working in the front. They did the fix extremely fast and I was able to continue my school work without waiting days or a week like the other places were estimating. Ok, so he charges you around $65-70 to replace a screen, but that's because he uses very cheap glue and screens. My screen was falling off in the top left corner within a day of repair, also the color was very dull after I got it back. One drop in the car and it shatters all over again underneath the tempered glass! The white part of the face of the screen was peeling off underneath the glass (see photos) so I called him and he said he'll replace the screen for cost of materials which is $30. I ended up flying out a few days later so never got a chance to see him. So anyway, I'm in Seattle and go to a shop with 5 star reviews from over 400 people and I tell the owner my story. He replaces the screen and brings out the damaged one and shows me and explains the different parts of said screen. There's a silver part that is basically what allows the touch screen to work, and said it was basically a cheap refurbished one that he suspects he got from China that was put on my phone and he used cheap glue which is why it was peeling off bit by bit. The dull color he says is also from cheap parts. You get what you pay for! If it's cheap in cost to repair, it's because it's cheap in quality. These guys are really nice, don't get me wrong. So nice, but this was very disappointing. read more

Long story short, my son shattered his iPhone 6 screen while we were at a party (he sat on the bag we had it in).
