I've been going here for about a year now, sparingly. I was an early adopter when they first…read moreopened around 2023 I think? When it first opened, everything was great: clean, shiny, well functioning showers and pods. My one minor complaint is the water temperature of the pod. Granted, I run a little colder than most being anemic, but the temperature is lukewarm at best. I know it's not meant to be a sauna, but I would really prefer a warmer temperature. You do get used to it, but particularly in the winter months, I want my water heated past indoor pool temperature. 84-88 is the temperature best suited for aquatic therapy and this seems more like it's in the high 70s. Thankfully, my showers have always worked though the last time I was present, a customer was reaming out the employee as her water pressure was super low and the water was ice cold. Personally, I'd have left the room during the pod to be moved to a different room rather than enduring but that's just me. Nevertheless, the employee still handled things with grace and professionalism. My pod experience this last go round was different than that first year. I can tell that the pods have seen a lot of use; it shows. The interior handle used to open and close was missing. This made it more cumbersome to slide my doors close (or open them at the end). The finish is peeling and all in all, it looks like some maintenance is overdue. The lounge area could stand to have an additional oxygen bar since there are only two tanks and matching cords. I've noticed when people come out, they sit in those pods but don't always get the oxygen. Maybe directing these people to the back orientation room would be better and allow the lounge area the ability to provide oxygen to more folks? All in all, it's an okay experience. I do feel a bit more rested coming out but I usually always follow this up with a nice soak in my tub afterward.

Alexandria, VA - I purchased a Groupon for a float and decided a Friday night was a great time to…read morecheck it out. I noted in other reviews that it's mandatory to arrive 30 minutes early for first float orientation. This fact wasn't emphasized when I called to make my appointment so I can see why there might be some confusion. Perhaps setting first appointments for 1.5 hours might make this more clear. Upon entering I was greeted by a friendly staff person who requested I put on plastic slippers and leave my shoes begin. This was a nice touch. Later I noted the slippers are soaked in a cleaning solution. I appreciate this as the slippers can then be reused. Next the staff person gave me a quick tour and showed me to the video room. The video was one part advertisement, one part orientation and one part sales pitch to buy a franchise. This last bit seemed a little much given I hadn't tried the float yet but i understand this is business. I returned to the lounge to wait my turn. A previous floater had just come out and the staff asked how things had gone. Apparently the shower didn't function well but the float was good. My turn came up and I was escorted back. I noted there were multiple float pod rooms. I was given a quick orientation to the room. The staff person opened the pod and said "This is where the magic happens!" All I can say here is there must be a generational difference in this phrases meaning. The staff person left and I turned on the shower. Ice cold water streamed out. I fiddled with the tap trying to get some warmth. Eventually managed some lukewarm water after a great amount of time. Then I couldn't shut the tap off!! My float time was beginning as I heard the narrator began her instructions. Finally got the shower down to a trickle and stepped in. The water here was warm clean and comfortable. It took my shower jangled nerves a while to calm down but when I did I had an excellent float experience. The end of the float was signaled by a loud door chime tone. The shower situation was no better. This time it was scalding hot water. Really took me right out of relaxation mode pretty quickly. I left the room for some oxygen bar time. The staff person set me up quickly and asked how the soak was. I noted all the shower issues. She acknowledged them and said she could add a note to my file so I would be in a different room Next time. This part mystified me. Why not give new customers the best experience this time? Additionally she noted that the prior customer had said the same thing about the shower. Apparently we had both been in the same room. There were other rooms so I don't understand why subject customers to a non working shower. Overall the float was great, staff was kind, the place was clean, but I wouldn't return based on the shower issues.

Even though this was my first time, I jumped right into the complete immersive experience. I've always wanted to try it and it did not disappoint. For those who aren't sure, there are options for soft lights and music, and different float times. One hour is fine for me. Get to the location, and first thing is don't forget to put the ear plugs in place. Next is a shower to get all the gunk out of your hair and cleanse the skin Get in the float tank and let it take you away! Getting out I felt calm and totally relaxed and my skin feels silky! The staff is friendly and welcoming. Do note that this is a local family owned business (yay small business owners!!)! Stop in during the business hours and they will gladly take you on a tour and answer all your questions about float and all their other services!

When I recently went, brought my partner and treated him to his first float session ever! I used the gravity massage chair while waiting; it tilts back and is full body adjustable- probably one of the best massage chairs I've ever experienced. Did ~13min massage with the lights off and door shut, so relaxing. Eric kindly checked and allowed me to slip in a quick cold plunge session as I was on the waitlist (had forgotten to book my sessions further in advance). Especially after a hot shower immediately after, felt great and so relaxed the rest of day and entire next day! (Non-float services are 30% off as an add on if you have the membership) My partner enjoyed his first float experience. We're planning to go back for couples fire & ice (contrast therapy) session and float after. Love: 1. The facility and all equipment looks super modern, clean, and they clean each room between each guest stocking with fresh towels, slippers, you can request a robe. 2. Love that everyone who visits is treated as a guest in a home and they have a policy where they do not try to upsell you anytime during your visit. 3. Enjoyed the genuine convos with the owners- unlike many other small biz owners, they aren't rushing you nor absorbed in their work when you're there- they remain present, attentive, and open to chatting. Would I Recommend? Absolutely, I travel over an hour just to come here & it's well worth it. The float tank, contrast therapy, and gravity massage chair is a must try! Suggestions for Improvement: No complaints here. Perhaps a branded small welcome gift for first time visitors? (It adds a nice touch, helps stay the biz stay top of mind- also more of a marketing thing haha)

I filled out a form explaining the results I was hoping for. As I was filling out the form, a gentleman came out after his float and, when his wife asked him if it helped his chronic back pain, he told her he wasn't feeling any pain at all! He looked stunned. Then he asked if he could come every week! One of the owners took me into a room with a nice stand up shower and a big pod filled with skin-temperature water filled with epsom salt. She explained how everything worked and left. Once I showered with their unscented shampoo and body wash, I climbed into the pod, put in the provided ear plugs and closed the door of the hatch. I floated for one hour in the dark (my preference because you can leave the lights on if you want) to experience sensory deprivation. When the hour was over, the lights in the pod came on and a soft voice on an intercom in the pod told me my hour was completed. I got a discount for being a first time customer and went home feeling relaxed. That night, I slept better than I have since having kids!! And I was super calm for almost two weeks after my float. For someone with anxiety, it was like a vacation from my body and brain!
