If they had said from the start: "Actually, this job wont be done this winter. Mid-spring is more like it" then we would have planned accordingly. But every month was another delay. Since they were not responding to texts or calls, we sent a certified letter to the business asking for an update or our deposit back by December 1. Today is December 1 and we still have not heard anything from the business. The lack of communication feels deceptive. I am concerned that they are just trying to rob us of our deposit and am prepared to take legal action.
