I had a chip in my windshield I needed repaired and I kept putting it off, but when I e-mailed them for a quote for a repair they said I didn't need an appointment which made it easier. $65 was a good price to save my windshield. Procrastination paid off for once in my life. I finally went in, on a Wednesday, and I guess on Wednesday chip fills are only $40. I had no idea, but I loved the surprise $25 discount. And I know when it's repaired you can still see it. This isn't my first chip repair, plus they tell you so you're not disappointed, but most of my chip/crack vanished so it looks better than it did & I didn't expect that. read more

He took measurements, called a fellow worker and had the double pane glass installed in my door by 1:00pm! I thought i was going to have to look at that ugly broken glass for days! It's rare that I write a review but i can't say enough about the service I received from this company. I had a nine pane glass window break in my basement door. I contacted them at 8 am-they had a service professional at my home by 2:00pm and the panes were replaced before 5pm that day! Dan was the service professional - he vacuumed all the glass. The glass was cut competently and I did receive a call back for when the two pieces of glass were ready. However, in the initial order I was quoted a firm number but when I went to the business they had added an additional $10.00. When I noted that I was given a firm price $10.00 less than the invoice they handed me they weren't interested in in rectifying the situation. it may sound like small potatoes but I believe a business should honor their word. I have had numerous pieces of glass cut by this company. This is a first so this must be their new business practice. I will not be continuing as a customer. read more

I got a big chip in my windshield on route 16 near Dover.. 2 weeks later I was removing snow from the windshield when I thought a bullet had hit the car. The windshield cracked across its whole width. Granite state glass in Concord was cheaper than safelite. They saved all my White Mountain Parking Stickers and put them on the new windshield for free. They removed my dashcam mount and put in on the new windshield for free. They take car of preserving inspection stickers or reprinting them. They were very friendly. I had worked with them before when I brought my other car for a chip repair...but they showed me it was clear pine tar and removed the hardened droplets for free. read more

Our experience has been rather poor with the Concord location of Granite State Glass, on a simple glass shower door. The measurements were taken 2 months ago (twice) only to show up with a glass door that does not fit. We've found our dealings with "Mike" rather poor, indifferent, and lacking basic customer service skills. Lastly and most importantly is COVID protocols. We asked them about their procedures when visiting a house. We were told the employees would be fully protected with masks, gloves, and protection for footwear. No surprise that they showed up with nothing. Entered the house, to "check real quick", and never did a single thing to protect my family or even their employees. Overall, horrendous - do some shopping around. read more

While driving during my move from Washington DC to Boston, my windshield cracked. I was staying at my parents' house in Concord before closing in Boston and needed to get the huge cracks fixed ASAP. Granite State Glass was able to accommodate me the day that I called. I left my car there, which was fine, but when I went to pick it up, the caps on the windshield wiper bolts were missing. I asked about this and they said the guy who replaced my windshield was gone for the day and they'd call me tomorrow. I went home and my dad looked under the hood and found the caps but I did not call since they were closed for the day. The next day, around 1pm, they called to tell me that there were never any caps covering the bolts, which was clearly a flat out lie. I told the guy that there were and we found them under the hood and he did not even apologize for lying. My car is a 2011 - most new cars do not have non-matching silver bolts in plain sight, because that would look tacky! Additionally, I was asked several times if my car had automatic rain sensors for the wipers. I responded "yes" every time, however, the next time it rained, they did not work. A few days later, on a perfectly beautiful summer morning, they started going off automatically - no rain or moisture in the air at all. So clearly something was not installed correctly. And they did not put my registration/inspection stickers or EZ-Pass back on in the same location - they are practically in the center of the windshield! I will never return here because there are plenty of other options for windshield repair and I have faith that they will at least be honest and loyal to their paying customers, not to mention, do things correctly! read more

These guys are great. I had an 'opera' window on my camper van that needed replacing. Chevy won't touch it; RV dealers can't do it . . . . Granite State took an impression, gave me a quote. I came in and they did the work. Impeccable. These are down-home New Hampshire folks. Busy place, everyone coming and going. Unfortunately, this is a zero out of 5 star rating. I have worked in the customer service industry for almost a decade and I could not believe the horrible experience l had. After a snowstorm I needed my entire windshield replaced found granite state glass online and called for a quote. Made an appointment for the following week. I spoke to a man on the phone who said they would be at my house to install anytime between 8-9 am, would take about an hour or so, and that they would come to my house. That morning, no one showed up and I had no calls from the company. Called them back that night and they apologized and we rescheduled for the following week same time. I also offered for them to text instead of call if that was easier when they got to my house. That morning came, and once again no show no call no text. I called them, once again, around 11am and they said the installer was busy at the shop and wouldn't be able to come around 12-2pm. At this point I already have plans for the afternoon. I was telling this to the customer service agent on the phone who told me "that's just the way it is" I also told her about my experience and that this was the second time no one showed up or called / text when they said they would. She hung up on me. I am now almost three weeks into working with this company and still have a completely shattered windshield. Worst experience I've ever had. Would not recommend this company at all. read more

I recently had the cheap builder grade inefficient windows in my 8 year old condominium replaced with Harvey Comfort Plus vinyl replacement windows purchased and installed through the Concord office of Granite State Glass. I had no idea Granite State Glass was in the replacement window business until a friend recommended them. The windows were delivered and expertly installed without a glitch thanks to the awesome service I received from Granite employee Karrie Jenovese. Karrie provided a prototype window sample to make absolutely certain that the new window style matched the old existing windows. This effort allowed me to capture the green light of approval from the condominium association to move forward with the project. There are numerous replacement window vendors in the market place. I am a small business owner and have had some not so great results with customer service. I tried to order from the Laconia store for a job in concord and I had the owner of the concord location call and literally scream at me on the phone and tell me if I didnt want his store doing my job go find some other idiots to do it. This is the third time over fifteen years. All three were different vehicles. The first two times I would have rated them five of five. They were done out of the Concord office. This time around was done out of the Keene, NH office. They were quick and professional but after a few days I noticed the top of my hood was all scratched and the top of my steering wheel is all buggered up. The did more damage to my truck then what it cost to get the window replaced. Never again. Go somewhere else. read more

I would never go here again. My wife had dropped her car off on Saturday for a windshield, they ordered the wrong one, no biggie. We go at 1 to pick up the car to find the passenger side door had clearly been dented in by the other truck they had just finished working on, you could see the red paint. Not cool, gets better. Due to the fact they close on Saturday at noon, we had to wait till Monday to resolve this. Monday the manager " Randy" says they don't know what happened, they don't have cameras, and they're not sure how to resolve this. Now we come to the windshield, they changed it, then they replaced the OEM rearview mirror with a generic junk mirror, that's not right. So now we're stuck with a damaged car, junk mirror, and the aggrivation of dealing with Granite State to get the car fixed. This is not a company I would ever tell anyone to use. read more
