I hired a professional to change my BMW snow tires to summer tires at my home last Friday. It went along smoothly till the final tire.  The Key for the Lock Nut broke off and was stuck inside the hole.  So now I have 3 summer tires and one winter tire on my BMW. I took my car to the BMW Autohous dealership near Yonge and Steeles on Saturday.  The Service Department told me they are fully booked for a week and won't be able to help me. Luckily,  the Owner of the Dealership and the General Manager,  Robert heard about my situation and made special arrangements to get the Lock Nut removed and put on the summer tire on Monday morning.  The Parts department and the Service Advisor were courteous and helpful!  I'm very happy with this Dealership and the Owner and the GM, Robert. read more

I recently purchased an X3 at this dealership. I wish I could give them ZERO. Trrible experience . DO NOT TRUST THEM. I had a very disappointing experience with Raj as sales manager and the customer service at this dealership. After multiple times calling and sending email to the sales manager (Raj) , and General Manager for more than a week, I was not able to get a response regarding my concern. I shared my tribble experience with the BMW Canada and they have contacted the dealership twice to respond , however the dealership did NOT take any action. I recently purchased a 2014 BMW in a private sale. With this dealership being closest to me, I thought it would be a good fit to get future service with/at - I reached out to them to try to bring it in and get a bit of help on how to use some of the software in the car, as I did not get a owners manual with the car. When I spoke to the receptionist, she told me there would be a $100 fee. Shocked, I asked to talk to the manager - a guy named 'Nav' - the new car sales manager. If you ever want to deal with a personality that is rude, and downright ugly - talk to this guy. He basically told me 'we are not a charity and will not do this for free' - I said, great way to represent your brand in front of new potential clients. Stay away from these greedy grease balls. You`d think after 2 cars in 4 years, they`d be logical enough to recognize loyal costumers who are here to stay. GEEEZ! Sales Manager, Maria is great with her friendly approach and is always willing to sit down to have a chat about certain options. Matt Fryer who no longer works there definitely brought the place down to a 1 star for me as the rest of the employees are pretentious and stuck-up. I can say this because staff at the BMW Toronto are far more decent when it comes to car knowledge and costumer service in both sales and service department. If you ever do bring your car in for service,PREM is wonderful to speak to! No snot in the nose like the rest of these boogers that walk around, head held high and too good for everyone else. I really feel sorry for the ones who do have the money yet speak little english and get droned into paying double the price as they wish to get it over with as soon as they WALK IN THE DOOR. My car always got fixed on time and one incidents even provide me with complimentary rental car while my car is waiting for parts. The sales department otherwise I think is rude and unprofessional. Imagine my salesperson using foul languages while talking to me and my boyfriend in Cantonese. And if you decide not to get another car from them, they becomes more offensive. read more

BMW Bathurst and Steeles do not care, and it shows. Brought vehicle in for BMW due to recall on faulty parts and was greeted with impoliteness. Repairs was delayed by a day from the quoted time frame. Vehicle check engine light turned on the day following repair and brought vehicle back to have it checked. Service advisor, Joe, requested $160 dollars to look at the vehicle. I was unhappy with his demeanor and lack of customer service. Escalated to manager, Steve, to be greeted with a similar discourteous tone. We debated on who the onus of repair cost belongs to. We eventually came up with a compromise. Regardless of the outcome, issue, or disagreement, I am disgusted with the lack of professionalism in these representatives. Needless to say, good customer service is expected from a large organization like this one. In addition to poor customer service, these representative lacked common courtesy by interupting my sentences and now allowing me to explain my proposition. For years, my family and relatives have made this dealership a service provider of choice. After today, I will no longer return here and I retract any recommendation or compliments I have previously made. I have been looking to upgrade my current BMW and after weeks of deliberating, decided on purchasing the right M2. My fiance has been assisting me with car shopping and we decided to go see a pre-owned M2 at BMW Autohaus. We drove across the city in the middle of rush hour to arrive for our 6 PM appointment. Upon arriving, we were shocked to see that it was still sitting in the pre-owned basement. We had intentions of test driving the vehicle and sitting down to discuss numbers. However, after asking several times, we were refused a test drive which was utterly unbelievable. My fiance drives an e92 M3 and his family purchased a brand new X3 M40i from BMW Autohaus LESS THAN A YEAR AGO. We have shown loyalty to this dealership and our credibility should not have been questioned. We would have been willing to do whatever it took to take the vehicle for a test drive because I of course did not want to purchase a vehicle I had never driven. We were given several excuses: - "It's an M car." ... Okay? Do you think M drivers come to a dealership to look at the cars? News flash, this is 2020. I could have gawked at the car online. To be honest I wasn't thrilled about having to visit a dealership during the pandemic anyway and I'm currently not visiting stores if I don't REALLY have to. I wasn't able to see anything in the dim lighting basement anyway. - "It's raining." ... Surprise! It rains and snows half the year here in Canada!! My current *lowered RWD BMW* is on the same tires that the M2 has. Trust me, I am no stranger to driving in inclement weather. - "We have to re-prepare it for display." Do you want to display the car or do you want to sell it? I work for a competing dealer group and I don't know if this is a shock to you, but we hire detailers solely for this purpose. If you didn't lose business over your awful customer service maybe you would be able to afford to hire a few. I truly just wanted to be certain the M2 was the right car and truthfully, I wasn't sure if I was set on the black one at BMW Autohaus but after seeing it in person I was ready to discuss a deal. I will likely be settling for the second-best M2 I found in BC because after this experience, I do not want to give BMW Autohaus my business. Let me be clear: ** I am willing to go through the headache of shipping an identical M2 from across the country because I was so appalled at the level of service provided here. ** Above all, if all the aforementioned concerns were problems, it should have been communicated to us BEFORE we drove across town for our appointment which we booked hours before. It should have been communicated to us that M cars are not often let out for test drives. And/or, it should have also been communicated to us that there may have been a better day/time for an appointment if a test drive was required. On our way out, my fiance spoke to the NCD sales manager who said he would speak to the pre-owned manager about a test drive. We waited for nearly half an hour and it was clear that we had been forgotten. The funny thing is, while we were waiting for an update from the manager, we left the dealership and called BMW Toronto immediately. Their M2 was also in the showroom and not on the lot, but they were going to make it work for us and were willing to get it out on the road last-minute. We've all heard of terrible dealership experiences, but in my near two-decades of buying over a dozen BMW cars in the household, I've never had one that left me fuming and incredibly disappointed such as the one today at BMW Autohaus. I drove 74 minutes in rush hour across the GTA for a 6PM appointment to check out a pre-owned BMW M2 here. We arrived on time, was shown the car but then when it came time to be serious, was told that they don't allow test drives in inclement weather. Yes. We are in Toronto, a city in Canada, where it rains or snows 66% of the year, yet their policy is not to allow a test drive in poor weather. Pardon my French, but W. T. F.?! I approached the new car sales manager about this as I was exiting the facility and asked him if this is indeed their "policy," and explained that I did not allocate almost 3 hours of my time just to visually gawk at a car we are interested in purchasing. AND reminded him that we had bought a NEW BMW from this dealership less than a year ago, for $30k more than what this M2 is being sold for. He replied that, "for our showroom cars we prefer not to take them out in the rain because they get dirty and have to be detailed again." LOL Excuse me?! Are you in the business of showcasing cars, or selling cars? This isn't sunny California where it never rains, and isn't this what you pay your detailers for? What an asinine response for someone running a car dealership in this country. Then the manager said he would see what he could do and would speak to the pre-owned sales manager. While I waited for 21 minutes... and was never followed up with. *I* went into the sales office desk area and sought out the manager and asked him what is going on. He had clearly forgotten about the situation and fumbled his words to basically say "sorry, that's the pre-owned manager's policy." Un-***ing-believable. So to summarize: -We bought a brand new X3 from this dealership less than a year ago. -We drove 75 minutes for an appointment with their BMW M2. -After seeing the car and asking to drive it, we were told they don't allow test drives on rainy days. -The above was *NEVER* communicated beforehand, otherwise we'd have simply decided to come another day (if you forget for a minute how absurd such a policy is). -The New Car Sales Manager said he'd see if he can get us a test drive, 41 minutes passed without any update until I went to find out what's happening. -Wasted 3 hours driving there and back, including being forgotten about by the manager. This is absolutely, unequivocally - without a shred of a doubt - the WORST car buying experience I have had since I was 16 years old. I've been treated better at Joe Blow 3rd party car lots than this supposed "franchise" BMW dealership. If upper level management has such terrible ideas of customer service, I'd hate to think what happens on the ground level at this establishment. Take your business elsewhere folks because not only do they treat *repeat* customers like this, imagine if you're a new one? Spend your hard-earned money elsewhere. Be forewarned that if you have a simple tire puncture that could be fixed with a patch ($40 at other places), they will charge for a whole new replacement at $600 because they are "not allowed to fix tires." Every time I came in for an oil change, I mysteriously had a tire puncture or another $450 sensor that was out or a broken thermostat (twice in 2 years @$600+). Had timing chain that they claimed was loose - TWICE within 2 years. I complained to the GM about my $20K in maintenance over 3 years and he laughed and said that was nothing - others have way more maintenance costs. Yeesh! You may get a loaner car when they do a repair, but not a BMW - a Honda! What does that tell you?!?! They have 21 repair bays and they are all always full with 30 cars waiting in the wings. That tells you about quality. GM said people don't pay for quality (slapped the BMW logo down on his desk) and said "People pay for that symbol!" Let this be a warning. read more

My BMW 650 cab had numerous issues with the engine and once diagnosed, My service advisor Joe Puopolo was very much on top of the ongoing repair and was in constant communication with me. The repair required taking my engine out completely, dismantling it and replacing various cylinders/shafts etc. Once the engine was back in the car there were numerous ongoing faults that had to be corrected wiring issues etc. They were not going to give me my car back until it was completely repaired. In the end, the car had to remain in service for three months. Working with Joe and the service manager Rad Zonta they were finally able to correct the problems. They presented me with my car in early February clean and detailed. The vehicle runs like it is brand new ! The vehicle repair was completely covered by my warranty. In addition BMW Autohaus and BMW Canada provided me various "goodwill" credits toward costs not covered under the warranty. I might add that during this process they provided me with a brand new BMW 530 as a courtesy car. I've always dealt with BMW Autohaus and fully recommend anyone with service issues to take their car to BMW Autohaus to deal specifally with Joe Puopolo. read more

I wish there was a rating below 1-star. I wish there was a platform more powerful than Yelp so that I could warn people about doing business with this dealership. Simply put everything about this dealership is absolutely awful. Attention and respect from the sales people ends once the agreement is signed. The service department is completely disconnected from any sort of commitment to service. As I write this I am waiting for a shuttle to pick me up that was scheduled for 10 am, which, upon calling in at 10:30 am, I find out will be at least another 45 minutes late (keep in mind they have my number and I do in fact have a job I'm supposed to be at so that I could pay for these expensive vehicles). I could go on all day but all-in-all, if you're going to be purchasing a vehicle, especially a vehicle as expensive as a BMW, you deserve an experience well beyond what this dealership is capable of, or interested in, providing. I took some time in debating my first ever 1 star rating for non-food place. I'm never one to be harsh because everyone can have a bad day or week...but year after year? This places has some of the worst service I've experienced and unless you think you're getting at least a 20% discount compared to other dealers, walk away. I am working in the auto industry and have purchased 2 x3's from this dealership. The service manager and service crew and the worst people to deal with. Once you have purchased your vehicle good luck getting and good customer service. I have had the same issue with the computer 5 times now and they do nothing to resolve the issues. I asked after purchasing a air filter for $120.00 that takes no longer than 2 minutes for them to replace they refused to help. The parts guy was very nice and was going to change it until they told him he isn't allowed and I would have to make an appointment to have done. I will no longer purchase parts from them or have either of my vehicles serviced their. I would never buy anything from this dealership again. I didn't review the details when I signed the lease contract and the sales failed to explain the charges. After I got home, I found out an issue and questioned the charges. At first, the sales lied that security deposit is a cost, then she told me that no one would get deposit back since BMW will charge those money when we return the car. Therefore, I asked her to withdrawal my contract. She promised me that we got a great offer and if I could find a better offer, she would return my $2000 deposits. I went to another dealer and got a better offer. The manager, Alex Sirenko, told me that my sales had no rights to do that promise and refused to give back my money. After a lot of works, the manager agreed to cancel the offer, but they won't return any funds (liquidity damage charge), which forced me to keep the offer. Bought my car at Town & Country BMW and went to this dealer couple times. Had a problem with steering wheel moving to one side during sudden braking. Autohaus was unable to find the problem, had a test drive with the technician and he insisted that my car has no problem. Went back to Town & Country and they found the issue immediately and replaced the steering joint. Never go to this dealer if your problems are not very easy to reproduce because they will not find the problem. With the serious intention of buying a new car, the representatives of this dealer has very low level of customer service, especially their pre-owned manager (Omar) who low balls every car appraised and then brags how he gets rewarded by BMW based on his profit contributions. In my case, Autohaus had a new car that was spec'd the way I wanted it and in return, I was trading in my car. Omar provided a low valuation which was nearly several thousands lower than other BMW dealers within the GTA. When questioned, he could not provide a justification to his valuation, outside of his subjective viewpoint. Furthermore, he ridicules that I am wasting his time and YET, I am the customer that drove across the city just to honor a booked appointment. Clearly, in my dealings with Omar, he does not know what good customer service nor proper communication are. If you want ultimate dealership experience to get into an ultimate driving machine, please avoid Omar or do not go to BMW Autohaus as they do not believe in offering good customer service and/or experience. Nearly every experience at this dealership is an unsatisfactory one, where I did not feel like a valued customer. I just keep going back because it happens to be close to my home, and the original contact I have with this dealership is a friend of a friend. The sales people are nice and knowledgeable BUT they are very aggressive yet hard-line on their deals... giving at best a slightly above-average deal. The test drives are short, where you just go around a city block, in 50-60 zones with lots of traffic, so you never get to really try out the car. And then the sales rep expects you to sign. 2 days in advance of the delivery day, when I tried to change the delivery appointment time for my new car, the guy doing the delivery (isn't it supposed to be the sales rep himself delivering the car to you, providing you with after-sale service and thanking you?) was curt and rude, and said that was impossible because the one other person who does it is sick. Come on, there's one guy delivering cars all day, while the sales reps just sell? (Update: I emailed my sales rep about this, and he said that it's a busy time and all times are booked... but it's okay, he'll delivery the car to me. So that's some plus points there...) Previously, whenever I took my car in for service, the waits for shuttle cars took hours, and the service reps were rarely pleasant. I ordered a part once, and they never went ahead and had it ready for the day I came in for service. Totally dropped the ball. This is the last time I will ever deal with this dealership. I'm going to Town and Country or another dealership in the future for service. The only saving grace is Maria Anghel, an experienced and well-respected Business Manager, who is extremely professional and cordial to deal with. Otherwise, this place reeks - like a previous poster said, the attention and respect ends once the agreement is signed. They will likely offer me an incentive (a gift card?) to tell BMW Canada that they are 5-stars. I am so dissatisfied that I am considering telling the truth and they can keep their gift card. P.S. I bought another car from this network of dealers - a Mercedes at MB-Oakville. The sales people at autohaus has no morals. Plain and simple. I was pulled over three weeks ago on the DVP. The Cop said that he pulled me over because my license plate was registered to a Mercedes Benz. He then kept us waiting for about an hour or two to make sure we didn't steal my car that I bought 4 years ago. BMW obviously blamed the Ministry. But what I brought up was that when I was buying my FIRST car, I saw the ownership and it said Make: MERC. I asked the sales person, isn't that suppose to be BMW? He looks at the card and says "No that's right, it says 323, that's your model". Looking back, he obviously knew it wasn't right. He sells cars all the time. He was just lying so that he can make his numbers for EOM. Worst part was that when I talked to them today for consideration when giving me a pricing for my oil change (not asking for free but a better discount would be nice) , the Sales Manager acted as if I was either lying or it was my fault for trusting the sales guy and not questioning the yearly renewal updates on my license plate. Very disappointed by this dealership, this was supposed to be my first car purchased, but the experience was very suspicious throughout. The car was supposed to be barely used, low mileage, no accident, but when we went to pick it up, they didn't even bother to give it a wash, one back tire was replaced which was significantly larger then the other back tire, half the car was repainted and very poorly done to add, there is no reason for a 2018 model car to have this type of paint job unless it was in a major side collision, you could fully see the paint sprayed over the edges of the windows, doors and fender, also there was no second key. They were very willing to sell me this garbage car, probably to take advantage of an inexperienced car buyer. As least after calling them out the had the decency to apologize and however they adamant on the fact they were unaware the the cars condition, which is crazy when it's supposed to be fully inspected by the bmw mechanics. Service staff do not respect your vehicle the way a true car ethusiast would. They gave me curb- rash on my 19" wheels and damaged my front skirt. You know, I never quite understood how certain places got such terrible reviews up until today. I can however say that there is no smoke without fire and more than 90% of BMW Autohaus' negative SERVICE reviews point to Domenic Ismaele's incompetence as a manager (see https://www.dealerrater.ca). I think it's safe to say that I am not the only person that wonders how this incompetent being represents such a renowned brand. As a matter of fact, this imbecile should be billed for damaging the image of Bavaria Motor Works. I'd visited this location in Aug. 2016 just before purchasing my car (from a non-bmw dealership). At the time, I spoke with Felicia Yim who had not only advised me, but also penned down on paper, that my warranty didn't run out until "1/19/2018 EXP. up to 160,000KM" (till this day, I have the ORIGINAL document that shows what she wrote down as a reiteration of what she had voiced to me that day). As she reassured me of this "bumper-to-bumper" warranty, and they had just finished some minor repairs which were covered under this same warranty, I went back to the dealership and advised that I was 100% in the deal for the car at the asking price. Needless to say, my discovery of the duration of this warranty was a big factor in my purchase. It wasn't too long after picking up the car that I noticed some rattling sounds in the front-right speakers but thought to myself "good thing I still have my BMW warranty until 2018".. right? Plus, BMW dealerships were momentarily hard to get booked-in with, so I decided to just wait till I had "real" maintenance issues affecting drivability before investing the time in a visit. May 26, 2017 - I sent Felicia Y and email asking her when I could get booked-in for maintenance (4-wheel alignment, wiper blade change, speakers, amidst other things). It would appear she lacked the common courtesy of responding to a customer inquiry as until this day, I am yet to get a response. In lieu of a response, I found PFAFF BMW Mississauga which has amazing online reviews & went there instead. They got my maintenance done but brought to my attention that after diagnostics, the speaker repair would cost me $702 as they do not see my car as still under warranty in the system. As you might imagine, this had me quite surprised. I told them that BMW Autohaus had advised me (and written down) otherwise. June 5, 2017 - I am at BMW Autohaus. Felicia Y (the root of my problem) is "not in office". I ask for service manager. I first relay my concerns to another Service Rep. He pulls up my VIN# in the system to tell me that my warranty expired 2016 NOT 2018 adding that Felicia must've made an error "or maybe she was looking at another VIN". I request again to speak directly with service manager. At this point, I am advised that he had "just stepped out". Rather convenient "stepping out" huh? I am reassured that he would give me a call soon. I leave. Not up to 5 mins after leaving, I get a call from Domenic Ismaele (Low & behold, Hoodini reappeared). Domenic is quick to dismiss my concerns basically adding that despite the fact that Felicia Y gave me wrong information, there was absolutely nothing that they can do for me (yes, I asked him this again so he could maybe hear just how much reasoning his words lacked & he still boldly, and quite rudely said YES). Note that at no point in the call did this imbecile think to apologize for the inconvenience that all of this has caused me thus far - zero empathy towards a customer that has clearly been misinformed. Domenic is rude, poorly mannered and quite frankly, incompetent of representing the BMW brand & i can say all of this after speaking with him today. I have taken this up with BMW Head Office and am now awaiting their call. Fellow innocent customer, I highly suggest you go elsewhere if your purpose for visit is service. Otherwise go in with a voice recorder. Autohaus, I highly suggest you get this tumor removed before he drives you to the ground. read more

From a loyal customer and bought 3 cars (320, 530, x6) over a period of 13 years, however, they will lose my business forever. A recent visit for the service due to a engine overheat problem with the X6, and the car is still under factory warranty, so it was fixed after all. However, after picked up the car and then found out series of new problems and scratch (3 inch and deep enough to see the metal), when reporting these issues to the assistance service manager, his first reaction was very defensive, claiming that all these could be a result of our (me and my wife) mis-treatment of the vehicle. Escalating this to the service manager, he pulled out the paperwork my wife signed before the service, which has small fine prints indicated that they bear no responsibility for small damages, etc., then said he's too busy and have no time for further discussions with us, and said we need to pay for another inspection charge ($160) if we want to get all the new issues checked to see if they're covered by the warranty. Reported the issue to BMW Canada, and was recommended a few other BMW dealerships, after some researches we picked another dealership near our areas, and sent the car there for service, all the issues were fixed and the cost was about $2,600 but we didn't need to pay a penny coz they're all covered (except the scratches) by the warranty, also got the free car rental when the car was in the shop. So still don't understand why the Service Manager and the Assistance dude at BMW AutoHaus refused to fixed our car in the first place ...., one thing for sure is they will not see me in this dealership ever again, and I will also stop recommend all my friends and family to go there for Bimmer. read more
