I use to go here to get my 2014 Mazda 3 serviced all the time. The employees will lie to you and try to rip you off. I do not know anything really about cars so any time they told me my car had an issue and something needed to be replaced I would do it as i assumed they knew what they were talking about and would be honest. This is NOT the case. They ripped me off every chance they got. Unfortunately I only found out after it was too late and i had already spend thousands of dollars with them. The last time i went there they told me i had an issue with one part of my car and a few bolts or rods were missing and i should get it replaced. For what ever reason this time i took my car to get a second opinion, and the place i went to for the second opinion told me that there was no issue with the car and nothing was wrong, missing or needed to be replaced. This is when I realized that my car probably never had the issues mazda would always call me about when i took my car for a general service. DO NOT go here as they will rip you off, and lie right to your face. read more

I had a previous review of Mazda that was, to say the least, not terribly flattering. It involved a bad battery which the dealer blamed on my driving habits, even though I had a CAA document testifying that the power source was bad and needed to be replaced. After the ninth instance of it quitting and needing a recharge, I finally went to get it replaced at the dealer. To my relief and great gratitude, they not only replaced it for free as part of the warranty, but rushed to get to it despite having people in front of me because I had a sick dog I needed to get home to. That kindness, by a service advisor named Paul Maliakal, was more appreciated than he will ever know. The car was brought in early and I was out of there within half an hour. This still isn't my favourite car and I wish I hadn't bought it, because it's given me so many problems and there are features (especially the weird radio system!) that I dislike. But the service I received that day helped make up for a lot and so it's only fair I issue this updated review. I appreciate Mazda of Toronto's service and the decency and competence of this employee. I hope everyone who goes there has the pleasure of running into him and having him handle their concerns. read more

Mazda of Toronto, how you disappoint me so! Supposedly Ontario's # 1 Mazda volume dealer. It started innocuously with what seemed like an easy transaction. A relative traded in and purchased a new vehicle here in late 2019 prior to the global pandemic. Almost a lifetime ago, but at the advertised 1.55% financing over 72 months. Or so we thought... Fast forward 2.5 years, life circumstances changed and our relative recently decided to sell this vehicle. This was when we encountered an unpleasant surprise. As part of loan payout, we discovered Mazda of Toronto instead applied for high interest financing over 84 months. Which meant the past several years of payments basically went to paying the significantly higher term interest. The scam is essentially that while monthly payment is made to look comparable, the dealer can deliberately hide this key fact when signing off the deal. This difference in rate equated to a $5K difference at payout, so it actually cost our relative to have a buyer take the vehicle and payoff the lien. We were advised by the reputable buyer that this is a shady dealer practice applied on unsuspecting buyers who are considered easy prey. Prior to this, we initially considered Mazda of Toronto when selling this vehicle. But as the saying goes fool me once same on you, fool me twice shame on me. We made sure not to go back to be taken for a spin again. Certainly buyer beware! read more

We almost walked out of Mazda of Toronto because of lacked of services. The moment I walked into the showroom, I requested to talk to a sales representative. And after wandering around the showroom for 15 minute, we still waiting with no acknowledgement that someone would be with us shortly. Then I made another request again and finally after 5 minute, someone finally free to serve us. I can understand if it is a Saturday when new car dealerships can be slammed with walk ins but it is a quiet Friday afternoon... I was in the market for a new vehicle and had interest in a 2019 CX-5. I had already owned a 2013 and wanted to see what my options were. After we got a fairly cold vibe from the sales woman from the first Mazda dealership we had gone to we then decided to head over to Mazda of Toronto. We felt very comfortable and had the opportunity to take our time and look at the vehicles and ask questions without any hassle and pressure including taking a test drive. We were dealing with a gentleman named Josh. He was fantastic. Was extremely patient with us and answered all our questions and was explaining in great detail the difference between the different trim packages. Once it came down to sit down to work on a deal Josh did a great job in laying out all the various details when it came to finance options and assessing the trade in value for the 2013. This has to be the worst possible service department I have ever dealt with. I went in with transmission issues and I was presented with a huge list of items that I was told were all necessary to a tune of $2000. $800 of it was for the actual problem I came in with. While I agree that most needed to be done they didn't need to be done that day. Then I was told I needed to pay them in advance if the service work before before I even had all the work completed. All because they wanted to close off their books at the end of the year. Stressed me out over the holidays with their constant calls to pay in advance. Work took 2 weeks to complete in the end and no loaner car so that was another $300 for a rental. This was not my only time I came here. When I first got my car I came in for service. Tried to sell me on things that were not part of the maintenance schedule. Who does a injector cleaning on a brand new car with 30,000 km on it. Like I said these guys I have zero trust in. Next time I will take my car to another dealership if needed. read more

I was very nervous when I walked in. But this young man was so patient and kind. He made me feel very relaxed. He took his time and explained every thing to me step by step. When it came to test drive the car, he new I was nervous. So He went and got a mask and sat in the back. He quietly spoke to me as we drove for the test drive. This is a quick review of their parts department. Every single time I call there is someone who is knowledgable, friendly, and efficient when I ask for parts for my car. The prices are your basic dealership prices but if you are a member of the TorontoMazda3.ca forum you will receive additional discounts which is a huge bonus! Very happy with the super fast and great service. I bought a Mazda 3 from a relative and needed to switch out the license plates. These were in Westowne Mazda plate covers, not Mazda of Toronto. I could change the front plate myself no problem. The back plate however had unique plastic white fasteners I could not get off. Since Mazda Toronto is closer to where I live, I drive up to ask for help. They looked at it right away, didn't have to wait. And they switched out the plates for me, free of charge! What a stand up dealership/service centre. Mazda of Toronto, if you see this and you would like me to bring in the car to switch out the plate covers from Westowne Mazda to Mazda of Toronto, I would be happy to advertise for you! Mazda of Toronto, My wife and I are extremely unsatisfied customers. We have never experienced such horrible customer service. We were completely disrespected by you and your employees from your location. We came to your dealership, looking at several cars we researched in hopes to find something we could take home as soon as possible. You showed us a car that arrived that day, one in which we were extremely pleased with. You provided us with a price in which we were extremely happy with. However, oddly enough when we came back to make a payment, we weren't able to do so for some undisclosed reason, HOWEVER, one of your salesmen stated that the car was reserved and was ours. We were told to come in the next day, and when we called to speak with our representative to book an appointment to see her, to ensure no other appointments would coincide with ours, she said she would call us back. She never did. We decided to show up, and we find out the car can no longer be sold to us at that price because, as stated by your sales rep, "We made a mistake in price, but we can sell it to you for $2000 more than what we asked for". If you've made a mistake, that is something internal that's between yourselves as a company must deal with, however we expect our deal to be honoured. I understand that a mistake was made, and unfortunately for whatever reason, you are unable to budge on the price that was originally provided, however when speaking to the sales manager at this location, we were completely disrespected. Not once, did he apologize for the mistake, rather saying "I don't know, I wasn't here, I don't know what happened". This is your company, as a manager it is your responsibility to clean up a mess made by your employees. Not only was he not giving us the time of day, he rarely gave eye contact, rather was more interested in looking at his computer screen, as oppose to pay attention to us and the situation. Had the car arrived that day, and you did not have the appropriate information, we should have been informed of this. Sep 04, 2013 Would like to bring to your attention the unethical behavior of the Manager Rana at this dealership and his salesperson Adrian. We were there this afternoon and made a verbal agreement to purchase the Mazda CX-5 Gt Demonstrator from them for a total on the road price of $1500 plus my 2013 Nissan Murano 2013. We left a deposit of $1000.00 to seal the agreement, as we had to go for an appointment. I told the salesperson that we would be back in a couple of hours. On our return Adrian told us that they could not go through with the deal and refunded our money. We were extremely angered at this behavior. Nightmare at Mazda of Toronto!! We came to buy a car from Mazda of Toronto, in the beginning the interaction with the Sales Rep went well and he offered us a special price for a demo car and told us we would get even more discount if we talked directly to his Sales Manager. However, the Sales Manager has gone home for the day, driving the demo car to commute from home to office, so we had to come back the next day. The next day, we met directly with the Sales Manager (Rana Khan) and this is where the nightmare began! First, he didn't honour the price given by the Sales Rep, but instead quoted a higher price and gave a bunch of b***s*** about losing money selling the car at that price. He repeatedly said he lost money selling the car at that price, and smartly misled us to believe we got a real bargain, so we took the deal anyway and paid $1000 for deposit. After we went home and evaluated the contract again, we found out that actually we've been tricked by Rana Khan by agreeing to pay the full price of a new car (without any discount) for a demo car which was technically a USED car. Hence, we decided to cancel the deal and called the Dealer right away. When we talked with Rana Khan about cancelling the deal, things got even worse!!! Instead of refunding our deposit, Rana threatened to penalize us for cancelling the deal. First, he threatened to charge us the difference if the future selling price of the car is lower than our agreed price. (How reasonable is that?) Second, he said he would also charge us the hours spent by his Sales Rep plus administrative fees as well. In short, he threatened to penalize us much more than $1000 as a fine for cancelling the deal. WHAT A NIGHTMARE !!! Will never recommend this dealer to anybody! read more

I'm going to be honest here. I want to share with you all my experiences at Mazda of Toronto. This dealership is the only place I would go for anything to do with my cars. the service staff are there to take care of your car and you. They don't try to over sell you, and they never push. I've been coming to this dealership since 2004 and 6 cars later, I still love it there. Rana and his team are so good at making sure you're taken care of. Twice I had to switch cars early in my ownership of the vehicle.. but that's life. You can't predict when you're going to have another family member join you. They look out for me too. I can contact them anytime to ask about a feature and they are quick to respond. I can approach any manager and they will talk to you. And the serve Great coffee. I used to hear stories about dealerships trying to rip you off... this is NOT that place. I once went to another dealership because I needed to quickly change a battery in a keyfob. It was painful. Not friendly. Not helpful. A terrible mistake. I should have come to Mazda of Toronto. read more

I wish I can give this place 0 stars if I could. Biggest frauds of life. I got scammed here by one of their sales associates named Bruce, who was not only quick to make a quick commission, with zero negotiation, but preyed and took advantage of the fact that I was a young female at the time trying to buy her first car. I was PROMISED LED lights. I asked many questions to which he kept replying "yup yup" as he was in a hurry to just make the sale, making sure I get ZERO discount, ZERO room for negotiation, and the highest capped price possible given my low new-grad salary at the time. Ok fine whatever, BUT When I finally got my car and drove it off the lot, it was my friend who noticed I in fact did not have LED lights, and of course I trusted Bruce since he insisted I would be getting the full package. I later took this up with the manager, I believe his name was Rana, when I went in for my first maintenance who by the way gave zero f**cks. His response was "oh Bruce doesn't work here anymore". What kind of customer service is this? He acted like he was busy and failed to make any sort of attempt to even listen to me. Ok I got upsold here, with empty promises and you're going to give me that response. The least that could've been done was I get 1 or free maintenance checks (Btw the constant maintenance emails are borderline harassment and has got to stop, I stopped doing maintenance with you guys after I realized the terrible customer service & fraudulent behaviour). I think it's laughable that Mazda even makes you pay for the first 2 maintenance checks when other brands like Honda do the first one at least for free. The Mazda3 has been my dream car for years growing up, so when I first got a chance to buy my first car and that being the Mazda, it was nothing but a nightmare of a buying experience. Thanks for ruining it for me Mazda of Toronto. I was gonna stick to buying Mazdas my whole life because that's how much I loved them, but you guys ruined that for me with your shitshow of a sales associate and painful "customer service" experience. Worst dealer I phoned them because I had a problem with the car that I got from them and Steven Abdalla told me to go to this location to fix my problem. I made an appointment with him and he was nowhere to be found. Somebody told me that he was not there and when another customer came and looking for Steven as well, they couldnt tell her where he is because they told me he was not there. In short they lied to me. Then the Used car manager talked to me in the parking lot to check the problem. His name is Mitch, the most arrogant person I ever dealt with. And insisting that I maybe the one who made the problem with my car. He even talk continuously and not letting me talk. He was so rude eventhough I was talking to him in a nice way. He even walked out while I'm still talking to him. I was so dissapointed with this dealer and not even care about customer. All they want is to sell their car and after that, they will not going to fix your problem. I felt mislead in the first place for the car that they sold to me. I had a terrible experience with this dealership. I was threatened and spoken to in a very abrupt and rude manner. One of the employees tried to rope me into a contract and started the process without informing me or showing me any type of agreement or car history, without any type of insurance from my end. When I tried to figure out what was going on and mentioned that I did not want to go through with this dealer any longer, they began threatening me and telling me I had to go through with it although there was no deposit or signed contract. The salesman tried to cover up his mistakes for doing things under my nose, and tried to make me believe that I couldn't get out of a contract I never even signed or saw. I was taken advantage of and treated very poorly just so they could make a sale. I ended up having to pay for someone else's mistake. When I got there to sort things out, they began to apologize and cover up all the problems they caused for me.
