When I was hit by an uninsured motorist- I got zero response from Novak- and all from the claims department- so why what was I paying him for?? When I called I was always told to call the 1-800 number.. When I canceled my policy in time- they still took the payment for the next month AFTER i canceled the policy- and then tried to tell me that I had to pay a pro rated portion of my payment. When I first started my policy- I had a couple tickets still on my record- which Novak's office told me would eventually no longer affect my policy and my rates would drop. I never saw a rate decrease- and actually had a policy increase instead. IF you move- your rates will go up. IF you don't pay via auto pay ( which NEVER comes out on the same day) you will pay more. I would seriously look for a better agent- with Allstate or other insurance company!!!
