We bought a framed painting that is perfect for our bedroom, and was very reasonably priced for an item already framed. (Going back for another next week!) Customer service... They offer water to customers, whether you purchase or not . The staff were extremely nice, but did not try to sell us on anything. They were there when we needed them, and doing their own thing while we browsed. They have bathrooms for guests . Not commonplace for a retail store I will definitely be back since I saw 10 more things I absolutely have to have.

It was located in the back of a shopping center but it was a nice hidden gem. I was greeted by the owner Julie who offered her help. I browsed the store and saw so many items I personally loved. I purchased a cool Cocktail book of recipes from around the world. I also purchased some really cute marble heart coasters. My friend was very happy with her gift. The customer service was great and my gift was even bagged beautifully and ready to give to my friend. I will definitely be returning to The French Quarter.

I forgot how big this store is, Memorial Day and Fourth of July supplies and declarations are out in abundance. My wife was with me so I knew this short stop in was gonna take a little longer and I was right. I wasn't able to find the stencils that I was looking for it, we made it through the store, looking at all the different departments. We got some good ideas for future projects. Lots of employees were working stocking different areas. Most all were helpful. I found some foam brushes that I use at a great price. I bought two packs from Lucy at the checkout she was super friendly with a great smile and personality. Hobby lobby was a great experience with the American flags, red white and blue decorations, and 4th of July displays I was even more patriotic and proud to be American when I left. I'll be back.

I thought I'd pop in to provide an update and confirm that Kelly is still absolutely my go to for…read moredesign advice in town. Since my previous post, we've worked with Kelly and her new assistant Whitney to redo our living room. We were still in our rental home, so again limited on changing anything like wall colors and fixtures, but that didn't stop this team from transforming a somewhat awkwardly designed room into an inviting family room. And again, no judgements from this team when they saw we were still living with worn out leather couches from my husband's bachelor days - they absolutely understand we all start somewhere, and not all of us are naturally gifted at designing a room! Of note - we did have a small problem with the couch cushions we had ordered through Kelly. The foam was apparently a bad batch and quickly deteriorated after installation. If was ZERO issue though, as we contacted Kelly and explained the situation. Within an hour we'd received confirmation they would be replaced as soon as possible. To ensure no future issues with other clients, Kelly visited to see how bad the problem was and relay the issue to the manufacturer (who also sought to get us new cushions as soon as possible). When the new cushions arrived, Kelly's assistant Whitney stopped by as soon as we were available to reinstall. It was a seamless process and reaffirmed just how much they care about their clients. We're now working with Kelly to pick out features in a new home we're building to ensure we get off to a solid start. They've been very understanding of the fact that we are limited by builder options for things like cabinets and counters, and also very understanding that this will not be a full house project, but rather the very basic things to get started and build over time. We're excited for the opening of her new storefront in January, as well as continuing to work together through the construction of our new home and into the future as we complete new projects to put together the home of our dreams.
