Wow - Frosty. I've never been into a boutique type shop…read morelike this and not been greeted, much less actively ignored, by 3 employees. 1 guy and 2 women. Normally, places like this that sell extremely non-essential home decorating objects seem to make a point of being friendly to induce you to buy something. Not these guys. Too bad. It would be a nice place to buy thing for your home or gifts for others. The trinkets and potpourri were artfully displayed. Smells great. Cute scarves. I don't know if it's because I pulled up in a truck? (which would, by the way, rule out half the people around here) or because I was just wearing jeans (guess they don't recognize $250 jeans from the Denim Bar) - and they assumed I didn't have money to spend? No clue. I wouldn't have considered it overpriced at first - but after the passive-aggressive treatment, you don't want to give your money to people who are rude and condescending to you - so $29 starts to seem too much to pay for a coaster set or olive tray and bad customer service.

The girls that work there are super fun, funny, knowledgeable people who love chatting with anyone who walks in the doors. You can tell this is the kind of place where regulars stop just to chat and check up on what's new. Besides the customer service being great, they have anything you could ever need - ANYTHING - in super unique stuff that everyone I've gifted to has loved, and there's a price point for every budget. I never leave empty-handed, and I'm always happy with my purchase. Word on the street is they do design services too, and from the store displays, you can totally tell! Everything is beautiful, seasonal, fresh, and new, so maybe design is next on my list from them. All in all, the BEST find in Southern Maryland. Will be back again surely... Probably this week. :)

The only cons: some items are very high-priced... and the layout of the shop is quite small and gets crowded... All-and-all a neat little place... but would hope to see new items and more of a selection if I were to go back...

We rented plants from Meadows Farms for our wedding. We were getting married at a nearby summer…read morecamp, and it costs 25 percent of the purchase price to just rent the plants instead of buying them. We got a couple small trees, elegant bushes, mums, and decorative cabbages to create a beautiful space around our wedding arbor. Adrian and Joe were super helpful in ringing us up and getting the plants delivered and picked up on time -- essential for a wedding timeline! We would definitely recommend Meadows Farms -- and thanks to Cindy for logistical help via email -- to anyone looking to purchase or rent plants to create a magical, perfect space for an important moment in your life.

We bought 4 burning bushes and all died. No big deal we had the receipt and were just going to…read morebring them back so they would replace with new ones. Well what a terrible experience that has turned out to be. We tried twice over a very rain filled weekend with no luck because of their electronic system not working. We tried to explain that we just wanted to exchange for live ones but the employee would not help because the system was down. OK I get that you have inventory but why not just write the information down and enter it into the system when it starts working again?! What did you do before you had an electronic system? Key to customer service is finding a how can I help not give reasons why you cannot help!

Adorable shop full of vendors galore from children's clothing to pottery to jewelry and everything…read morein between. I arrived on a Sunday afternoon and there was live music!!! I was so impressed by that! Oh and there is a beer garden on the other side of the wall - you can actually walk into it from SOF! I absolutely love the layout of this place though it is not ADA compliant to say the least - the top floor is only accessible from tight little stair cases with steep stairs but once you get up there, there are so many things to look at from crystals to stickers and garden decorations aplenty! I am just super impressed that they're able to figure out how to charge us for everything - they have a pretty sophisticated system because you bring everything up to the front cashier and they figure it all out for you - technology is great!!! I loved all of the stocking stuffers I was able to pick up - so many small items that are reasonable priced and perfect to fit in a stocking, Easter basket, Hanukkah gift...you name it!!!

Let me paint you a picture. Six college students and one blown tire, stranded in an unfamiliar…read morearea. We found Bowles Farm to pull into through the great fun of the big Spongebob figure. Tons of fun! But, it was clear that we were not going anywhere without at least a pump for our tire, which we had just left at home (sure we wouldn't have needed it). We saw a few gentleman working hard on the upkeep of their beautiful farm, getting the land ready for some fall fun including a maze, slides, and so much more. When one of our troop went to find help, the most generous gentleman came to our rescue and offered to help immediately. He took on the car while offering us a stay with the many sweet animals of the farm: baby bunnies, loving pigs, and joyous chickens. He even brought in another gentleman, and another. They informed us that the car would need a change of tire, and completed the process for us. They stopped , what I'm sure was a grieving workday in the sun, to help us get safely back on the road, even giving us directions to the nearest tire shop to pick up some more tires. These men are who make humanity so great! So, if you're looking for some family fun this fall, I hope you choose Bowles Farm, and that you get to patronize the lovely people who made our day!

This is my first Pumpkin Patch and cornfield maze. I've always wanted to do so around Halloween…read moretimeframe and finally made it happen. All and all a great experience and it's kid friendly if you have children and a family friendly event during the day or even at night. They take cash only for concessions however, take credit cards for admission. The hot apple cider is great as are the cupcakes and sweets in the shop. There are real restrooms in the barn area and portable restrooms throughout. There was also cool Halloween decorated Jeeps at the parking lot for those wanting to show off their Jeeps. Definitely recommend a visit when it's back open next year.
