    My superstar Sable Standard!

I consider my self and my dog Poem so very fortunate to have been introduced to Farren. Gettin a Standard Poodle has been my dream from a very young age and I knew I needed to be committed to train her in obedience and explore the possibilities open to us in dog activities and sports. Knowing how to do this was the catch until we met Farren, her personality, love for dogs and commitment to teach not just Poem but me as well was evident from our very first session. Farren understands dogs and teaches you the psychology behind positive reinforcement training. She will train you and your dog based on a plan to attain training and behavior goals you have. Mostly I trained along with my dog for many sessions and we obtained our CGC, but also took advantage of board and train while I had to travel. One week with Farren for Poem was remarkable. We are not done, so many more trying goals and I would not turn to anyone else to help us. Highly recommend Farren for all your training and behavior corrections.

Our Henri (English Golden Retriever), has PTSD from a fire we had a few yrs ago at our house. It triggered severe anxiety w panic attacks. Which brings on severe colitis. His PTSD has been a really hard road due to its severity. We could no longer kennel him at his reg kennel when we traveled due to him being on daily medications & his behavior. Sadly, I traveled a lot for my business & my husband works firefighter shifts. Not kenneling somehow was NOT an option. Somehow, I came across BoardnBehave. Farren took him on & has continued to work him w his behavior when he's w her. She has made it possible to be able to keep him as part of our family. We appreciate Farren @ Board n Behave so much. This is a text I sent to her regarding our recent trip away (1/4-1/8/23).... "Henri came hm happy & well adjusted. No crazy! No diarrhea either. Just like a normal guy w no drama! Seriously! The big deal of this does not go unnoticed & it's greatly appreciated by us. " Ty O! She also takes in Henri's support buddy Charlie (yorkie poo).

There is too much good stuff to say about this company/ Farren.... I've been using her services for many years (6) with 4 different dogs at different stages of there lives .... The difference is so dramatic... my golden child Bernadette (oldest dog) is my golden child.... Her obedience and off-caller recall is superb. I can walk all four dogs in public with no problems....3 of them can be off leash. Board n behave has saved me many times.....

If I could leave 10 stars for Farren I would! We came across Board N Behave on FB when we were looking for someone to train our 2 yr old poodle mix. He's a very anxious dog, had major anxiety around other dogs and people. Our hope was to be able to take Bogey with us on our family outings without him causing a major scene and for him to be able to enjoy himself on or off leash. I did quite a bit of research and spoke to a few other dog training facilities, but as soon as I spoke to Farren I knew she was the one. I immediately knew we could trust her and that Bogey was in amazing hands. He stayed with her for 3 weeks and literally came back a different dog, in the BEST way. From start to finish Farren was professional, friendly, an amazing communicator. My advice to those reading this- make the investment in your pups, it is 100000% worth it in the long run. Farren is your gal!! I could go on but will stop here. Thanks again Farren!

Farren is crazy good with dogs and horses. It's a talent I have seen time and time again from her dog Brandy to my dog Mack. I would highly recommend her for training even though its been more than 12 years since I've seen her. Maybe one day I'll bring her my Chihuahua mix to be wrangled.

Game changer!! Nothing beats a well trained dog... especially a well trained puppy! After sending my first 5 month old puppy to Farrah and seeing his amazing new behavior and well trained commands- I sent in our 6 month old puppy. Both dogs came home with so many new commands and great obedient behavior. After two weeks with Farrah both puppies can- load in and out of the car. Leash walk perfectly. Sit. Down. Stay. They have the place command down (where they go to their bed and stay until I release them). And both dogs have overall better behavior and are much more attentive to me and what I'm needing them to do. I plan on working with Farrah for a very long time! Highly recommend. I wish I had started both my puppies even sooner.

Best investment i've made. Farren has left an indelible mark on my puppy. We are now taking classes at Zoom room and I can see a marked difference in my puppies progress and others in the class who did not have the advantage of Training with Farren. Would highly recommend her to any new puppy owner. Thank you Marie at Woodcreek Bernadoodles for recommending board-n-behave. She is awesome and so knowledgeable about animal behavior.

Two of her happy clients, Parker and Izzie!

I had met Farren at a dog park a while back and was blown away by how well she trained other dogs.

At his age, he is very sensitive and has some of the little quirks and challenges that come with being a senior dog. Grooming can be stressful for him, so I was a little nervous about how he would do with someone new. Gennifer was absolutely wonderful with him. She was so patient, gentle, and understanding of his needs. She even used a sling to support him so that his little legs and body wouldn't become tired from having to stand for too long. She took her time with him and never made me feel like his age or sensitivities were an inconvenience. What touched me most was the way she handled Noah with genuine kindness and compassion. She seemed to understand that he isn't just an appointment--he's my beloved senior boy who deserves to be treated with patience, dignity, and care. I know grooming can be challenging on its own, and I can only imagine that working with senior dogs adds another level of patience and care. Gennifer handled Noah's individual needs so beautifully, and I could tell that his comfort was important to her. As a dog mom, there is nothing more reassuring than finding someone you can truly trust with a beloved pet, especially when they are getting older. I left feeling so thankful that Noah was in such caring hands. I'm incredibly grateful for the referral and feel very fortunate to have found Gennifer. I would wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone, especially those with senior dogs who need someone patient, gentle, and genuinely compassionate. Noah is already scheduled to come back!

She had taken care of my dog and cat several years ago and when I hired her for a 3 week stay I was confident that they and my home would be well cared for. First, when I returned my home was filthy (despite the fact that I had housekeepers the week before) . The countertops in the kitchen was not clean, the floors (all laminate easily mopped) were stained and dirty, and her long hair was all over the floor in my bathroom (which she wasn't supposed to use). My housekeepers then advised that when they were there the living area was full of feces (pictures taken) -- much more than a small dog could have produced in several days. She was to administer an ear medicine on my dog and altho it appears she did, her ear was so greasy that the groomer had to cut quite bit of her beautiful long hair as it was too matted. Jennifer was to walk my dog 1-1.5 miles every day. After all this I decided to check my ring camera. At no time did she take her out for more than fifteen minutes. Impossible to walk that distance in the short period of time. No wonder the dog pooped in the house. The long haired cat was well groomed but that is the only positive thing I can say.
