For nearly two years now, Brian has been an invaluable partner in my journey with not just one, but two service dogs--my fully trained service dog and my current service dog in training. What sets Brian apart is his profound expertise and his unwavering honesty. He has an incredible gift for assessing a dog's natural aptitude for service work, and he's not afraid to give an honest, professional opinion about a dog's prospects. This kind of integrity is crucial for any handler. Beyond his technical skill, Brian has been instrumental in building my confidence as a handler. He has an encouraging, clear teaching style that empowers you to trust your own abilities and form an even stronger bond with your dog. If you're looking for a dedicated, honest, and truly skilled professional to guide you through service dog training or any other training needs, I cannot recommend Brian and Temecula Best Friends Dog Training highly enough.

I love his positive methods for training and it is all very easy to learn and implement. He listened to our specific concerns and needs and gave good advice and focused training. We especially love that he helped teach our puppy loose leash walking and practiced going to public places with him. We feel like we are set up for success in having a really well behaved dog and are more confident in our ability to continue training. We paid for the 6 lessons and feel the cost was completely worth it. I also saw that Brian offers dog sitting through his website and I would 100% trust him to look after my pup. He really has a special love for dogs and you can tell that dogs feel the same way about him.

It was a huge blessing, considering we wouldn't be able to drive down for one before our wedding. In general, we were reluctant to leave our two pups, Milo and Enzo, at a boarding facility for the first time because we have never left them in another person's care who wasn't a relative. But we are so glad we did and that we had a wonderful experience! Naomi took great care of them for 4 days. She was very responsive, professional, understanding, and most importantly, kind. She gave them all the attention, love and care they seek and need. We were impressed with her clean facility and were relieved that she was able to separate the two dogs during meal time as requested. She was easy to work with when it came to the dogs' specific schedule and instructions, and she was very open and flexible to our needs when it came to pick-up and drop-off. We trusted her so much that we even extended their stay by one day! She was fantastic and we are so glad we know who to go to again for future dog boarding needs.

Thankfully, we found Great Oak kennels and it has absolutely been a godsend! Naomi treats our baby, Bella Catherine, like a member of her own family. She doesn't have a problem that Bella has to have medications and her food softened and made a special way. Whatever Bella needs to keep her healthy and safe, while we're traveling is what Naomi and her staff do. And we are truly thankful for Naomi and all of the staff at Great Oak kennels!

My Chinese Crested, Hooper, had previous training but was still struggling with reactivity and socialization. I appreciated that Farren didn't push an expensive board and train--she assessed Hooper personally and offered private sessions that fit my budget. After just one session, I already saw progress. Over five sessions, both Hooper and I were trained--because we all know training the human is just as important! A month later, I adopted another dog, Bodie, and brought both pups to Farren's daycare to continue Hooper's socialization. We also did additional public training sessions, which were incredibly helpful. Hooper is now more confident and manageable! Farren has also been working directly with Bodie, helping him learn basic obedience and improve his behavior--especially with things like staying safely in the car instead of bolting into the street. His progress has been amazing. Farren is not just a great trainer, but also understands dog behavior on a deeper level. Her facility is clean, organized, and I fully trust leaving my dogs in her care. I highly recommend Board N Behave for training, daycare, and/or boarding!
