I dealt with this company in Twinsburg before they opened a "store within a store". First, they didn't deliver the wheelchair we rented. Then they delivered 2. Then I got a call from their secretary asking me if I could give her the serial number of the chair we wound up with. Apparently they never recorded it. We went back to get a lift chair in Spring. We ordered leather. The lady said I would have to file with Medicare. She told me to contact the doctor for any forms I would need. The doctor said BMS should file, not his office. Then the lady said Medicare usually doesn't pay for lift chairs. I think she just didn't want to be bothered with filing. The chair took 6 weeks to arrive. My husband is disabled and sits in the chair all day. Within 2 months, the leather on the seat and footrest had disintegrated. The chair is not worth the $1300 we paid for it. In addition, they are closed on Saturdays. Very inconvenient. read more

They don't return calls or voicemails. Why accept messages if you are ignoring them anyhow. They also take a very long time to get you your gear. My CPAP tool over a month to get. I ordered my CPAP through them and they sent a unit that cost about 400 USD on the open market. They then proceeded to charge my insurance over 1200 USD for it and at the same time most of that came out of my pocket. When questioned about it they stated they insurance sets the price and I asked if they are forced to charge the maximum? They are not. By screwing my insurance they screwed me. I had no choice in the device or supplies and yet I got to pay for them. I will never go back to these pirates and will make sure no one I know ever deals with them. It may not be illegal but it is certainly unethical. I ended the rental early and settle up paying around 700 USD out of pocket for something I could buy on Ebay for FAR less. Their East Liverpool OH store is a dump and is only staffed by appointment. Something their website does not mention. I wish I'd have read reviews but hey supplies are supplies right? Wrong. Do NOT do business with these people they will take advantage of you. I wish I could give negative stars. read more

The absolute worst customer service I've ever experienced. The cashiers or whatever they're called don't seem to want to greet or help patients in any way. The respiratory therapists are the one bright spot. Total pros. Unfortunately, they are undermined by their staff. read more

Horrible company. Due to a miscommunication with the doctor's office I purchased a hospital bed from them for my mother, out of pocket, not covered by Medicare. After that the doctor called and said the had a rx for a bed covered by insuramce, not realizing I already picked one up. The company my doctor worked with were wonderful and the cost was a fraction of what I paid. I called BMS and told them I would be returning their bed. When I needed to return it, they refused stating it was past 30 days per their policy. When I called them about it I was told I'd lose 20% plus had to pay delivery, which was fine with me. I was told in order to resolve the issue I needed to speak to the owner, who did not return any of my calls. insurance, am in the process of filing a complaint with the ombudsman for the Agency on Aging, the BBB, but I think the best thing to do is use social media and warn as many people as I can. I have learned they have a terrible reputation, well deserved. read more

Absolutely by far the WORST to have to deal with. Not only do they over charge anyway they can, but after you finally pay them off due to co-pays from disability not covering everything... a few years later they just start billing you things again. What is their excuse "we didn't know the insurance hadn't covered that"... then why would you wait three years to ask for payment on it????? No, if you can get what you need someplace else. Just get it someplace. Oh, and if you argue and refuse to pay because they told you that you didn't owe anything else... they just find your family and start calling them to tell them you owe them money. read more

This has got to be one of the worst companies in the area for medical supplies. I needed some supplies for a cpap they were out of stock but they would send when available. I complained and was told to take my business elsewhere. To try to change companies is not easy. I just called back after waiting for two months and was told they are still out of stock then I was told they offered a refit which was not true. These folks are pure sad business people they lie and are not worth doing business with. read more

Boardman Medical promises one thing and delivers another. I am disabled. I don't have family close by and I have no friends. Boardman Medical promised it would be no problem for them to deliver what ever I needed. That is the MAIN REASON I chose them. The few things I cajoled them into delivering (electric wheelchair, nebulizer, bi-pap machine and oxygen filler) are junk. The mask for the bi-pap is ill fitting, even though I was 'fitted' for it. The quality of the machinery the give you is very poor. You pay an arm and a leg in 'co-pays'. It's ridiculous! They NEVER come to check to see if their machinery is working right and IF they do it has to be exactly when they say, regardless if you have another commitment that day. It's not uncommon for them to make an apt with you and you have to wait all day for them to show. You have an emergency? Something breaks down on a weekend? Don't call the emergency number because they will make you wait until Monday morning opening time. I am so sick and tired of this business. read more

HORRIBLE COMPANY! They own the Sateri nursing home and decided to close it with only 30 days notice! People now have to scramble to find a place for their loved ones to live. I feel especially bad for the ones that have no family and will end up in a hospital or homeless! For this reason I hope they go out of business and the owner ends up homeless living under a bridge with their unfortunate patients from Sateri.
