When the crew arrived, they were immediately informed that the property was involved in an active divorce case and that a court injunction prohibited the removal of any items. Despite being told this directly and clearly, the movers ignored the legal notice and proceeded to remove items at my wife's request--including premarital property that belongs solely to me. Their behavior made the situation even worse. While loading my belongings, the movers made jokes about the situation, and when I stated that the items they were taking were my property, one of them yelled back, "No it's not!" The level of disrespect and unprofessionalism was astonishing. A reputable moving company should stop immediately when notified of a legal restriction. Instead, Ron's Moving Company chose to proceed, creating financial harm, legal complications, and unnecessary conflict. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company to anyone. Their disregard for legal instructions and their unprofessional conduct speak volumes about how they operate.

As this was new construction and nothing had been moved upstairs prior to Liberty Bell it is clear that they caused the damage. We paid $475 to have the painting company repair the damage. I sent pictures to Liberty Bell but the pictures were not time-stamped before and after so Liberty takes no responsibility. Who anticipates damage and takes before pictures anyway? Also they were to take a king sized bed (no Mattress) to a charity but at the move day they told us that their truck was too full so they would not do it. Another negative is that before, during, and after the move I was never able to speak with a live person. Definitely would not recommend. Moving is super stressful and time consuming. I broke down and hired D&J Movers to help my…read moredaughter, my cat, and our fish move from a two bedroom apartment into a three bedroom house. Mind you, it's the middle of winter and the country is in the grips of a global pandemic. I called the guys at D&J and my call was answered by a real person, there was no "Press 1 for this...press 2 for that..." I easily scheduled a weekend appointment-even with the threat of winter storms they were willing to keep an eye on the forecast and stressed their flexibility. He quoted me that a typical move like mine would be about 4 hours. I had packed all that I could into moving boxes. With the exception of furniture. Which, they broke apart AND reassembled perfectly in my new place!!! Score! They arrived promptly on a Saturday morning, they practiced masking and social distancing and you could tell the way the team performed seamlessly that these guys knew what they were doing and they treated my possessions with kid gloves. They went above and beyond during this freezing winter move. With one guy on his knees with a hammer chiseling my frozen BBQ grill from the snow bank that encompassed it! They accept cash and check only -I wished I could have paid with my debit card as I seldom use cash now-a-days. But, that said, the crew waited for me to dash to the ATM up the street, so I paid that way. For me, they charged $130.00 an hour. And it was beyond worth it! They spent 3.5 hours between both places, that included disassembling and reassembling my bed and my daughters bed. These guys know what they are doing. They were quick, professional, approachable and treated my furniture like their own!

He spent nearly 15 minutes on the phone with me going over the details of our move, even knowing we wouldn't be able to book with him. I mentioned a quote I had received from another moving company and that I was worried it might be way off. He reassured me that the price sounded reasonable and then took the time to explain what I should look for when choosing a moving company, what I could expect to pay, and some things to watch out for. There was absolutely nothing in it for him, yet he was patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely seemed to want to make sure we had a good moving experience, even if it wasn't with his company. That kind of customer service and honesty is rare and really stood out to me. Although I can't review the actual moving service since we weren't able to use them, based on my experience over the phone, I would absolutely recommend giving them a call.
