I chose Yachtsy because of the price point and you can book a captain with your boat. I wanted my friends and I to be able to sit back, drink, and relax during our voyage. Booking: Booking was super simple online. I selected the date, time, and online you have an option to select a captain. You don't get to choose who and be aware there's an additional price plus gratuity that won't be added to your online shopping cart. However, the price was minimal for the pleasure of having fun and not worrying about crashing someone else's boat! Before you sail: make sure you fill out all of the online forms. I had to do about 3, but it took only a few minutes and ensured everything was smooth for our departure. The boat: small, intimate, smooth, and fun. It is snug so if you have 6 adults that's about the max who can fit comfortably. We didn't have a lot with us, thank goodness, but keep that in mind if you have people + food + stuff for your trip. We are all fairly local folks but we learned so much and ate amazing food. I appreciate the level of service Zachary provided including helping to fit this in my budget. All communication was prompt and easy to understand. The payment process was simple. Instructions for where to meet and questions about food allergies or other issues were appreciated. Even in the rain, this was just so much fun. We started at the Maryland Center for History and Culture. As a museum junkie, I loved that we started with a quick tour through Baltimore history! And we got to pop into the Jim Henson exhibit. They have the Labyrinth Dress!! After that we started walking. Did you know the Ouija board was created in Baltimore?? I did not. We walked into the Enoch Pratt Library and poked our head into the Peabody. And we did a quick tour of the Washington Monument. I did not know you could go inside it for free. Duos and groups of 3 or 4 , competing in laser beam limbo , memory games , hopping, shooting lasers, laser Tetris and pac man adjacent games. I didn't realize it at the beginning but you will earn points for each room you enter and will be ranked according to your skill. Some rooms are popular and may have a long line .
