One very special thing about Hennigars is that it's open 7 days a week all year round. True, there is less produce in the winter, but it's still treat to visit. And you can always pick up some of their homemade apple cider - direct from their apple orchard. Right next door, on their farm you'll find some great parkland and trails to hike all summer long. Imagine the delicious picnic with goodies from the market for stops along the way.

LOTS of room for them to run around the muddy fields (for now) or over into the sunflower patch. Sit outside on the back deck or under the picnic shelter. There's also seating inside if you're not into the Valley heat/humidity. There's lots of work still going on here but this is also a wonderful market with fresh produce and lots to offer. Free parking on site but this place gets packed quickly and parking spots are tougher to find. Looks like there will be a lot more expansion here as they only just opened to the public a week ago.
