It was a very sad turn of events but the staff handled everything with such grace and poise. The lady who initially checked us in was so friendly and kind. The captain kept us updated with real time feedback and made sure everyone was aware of the plan. It was very unfortunate that we were able to complete our excursion but we were offered alternative options or refunded the full amount of our tickets right there on the spot. We chose to get a refund which was an easy process with the captain. As first time visitors to Traverse city this was something we were really looking forward to and are hoping to try again when we return!

He has been sailing the area for many years, and we enjoyed his passion for the history of the vessel, his skill in navigating West Grand Traverse Bay, and his insight into the local area. We also enjoyed witnessing a sailing regatta that was happening on the water nearby.
