    Bob Evans Double Meat Breakfast
    Randy G.

Stopped in for breakfast before getting on the road to return home. I ordered the Double Meat Breakfast with sausage patties and bacon and eggs over easy. It came with hash browns and toast. First thing, the eggs came a little over cooked. They weren't cooked over hard but they weren't the usual white color, they were to the point of being browned with that nasty crispy edges. And as you can see in the photo the yolk on one of the eggs was served broken. Both the bacon and sausage were over cooked also. I ordered the bacon a little loose, as you can see in the photo the bacon is real crispy and was served broken. The sausage patties were blackened on the outside and dry. The two things I do like cooked well is my hash browns and toast. The toast may have well not have even been toasted. It was limp from the liquid butter they put on it and as for the hash browns, I asked for them well done and I had to send them back to as the waitress said "so the cook can turn them over and cook them on both sides". But hey, the iced tea was good. But then again, I don't drink soda. I always have unsweet iced tea with lemon. Why is it that when the waitress comes around with a pitcher to refill my tea, they never give me another lemon? I squeeze the lemon into my tea for taste not for decoration. I squeeze the lemon to use the entire wedge it's not good for a second glass. Just saying....

This is the worst Bob Evans' I've ever been to. Service is terrible & rude. My family and I ended up leaving before we even got our food.

Olde Dutch Restaurant in Logan -- so many people hyped this place up that we had to check it out…read more It's buffet style with all-you-can-eat salad bar, soups, hot dishes, and pies. Drinks are extra, and there's also a small $1-2 supplemental fee added on, which felt a little odd since it could probably just be included in the buffet price. The food itself is very classic home-style comfort food with lots of options. Nothing super fancy or out of the ordinary, but everything tasted fresh and the buffet was constantly being refilled every few minutes. We also got the iced sweet teas, which seemed to be really popular since almost every table had one. One unique thing -- the entrance and exit are through the gift shop, and you also pay there at the end of your meal, which definitely adds to the old-school country restaurant experience. Our waitress was attentive and friendly throughout the meal, too. Overall, worth the stop for the experience and comforting homemade-style food while visiting Logan.

This place was hopping but somehow everything flowed smoothly. We tried a little bit of everything- chicken and noodles, salad, stewed tomatoes, asparagus, has brown casserole, pie, etc. my husband seemed to really enjoy their fried chicken. They also offer a menu you can order from a la carte. The buffet was so extensive that we ended up sticking with it. I only hold off on the fifth star because some of the food was over salted and/or overcooked (especially the veggies- asparagus, cauliflower, etc).
