    Homemade chicken and noodles

This place makes you feel like your grandma cooked you dinner. Literally every bite tasted like it was actually homemade and not just a Sysco foods recipe. The staff is very friendly and happy to help. Even on a Tuesday lunch, they treated me as if I was having the premium steak dinner. The vibe here is great. I am a road warrior and I miss homemade food. This place made that happen.

Visiting Washington court house this weekend and stumbled across this gem! It seems a popular spot because the parking lot was packed! The parking was a bit awkward and hard to park . We had to wait only 15 mins for a table and the person working the door was so kind and smiled a lot ! We were sat and I already knew I wanted the full rack of ribs and two sides special. (27.99) we started with willow chips. Homemade chips with white cheese, blue cheese, and bacon. Different and delicious! Crispy chips with big hunks of cheese! Yummy!! The place is super clean with neutral decorative pieces around , our waitress was nice and seemed stressed! The people next to us were running her ragged! For that reason we had to wait quite a bit on our drink refills. The ribs were FALL off the bone and so so good !! Delicious sauce too! The side items were just "ok" green beans and mashed potatoes. Would def eat here again!

Our family ate at The Willow tonight for my husband's birthday. We had not eaten here before and chose it due to its location. When we got there, they had an hour and 20 minute wait. After talking to a woman that has been to this restaurant before, she said this is abnormal and probably due to Valentine's Day. Thankfully we had made a reservation and were seated right away. Our server greeted us right away to take our drink orders and explain the daily specials. We ordered our food and did not have to wait long for our food. Everything was delicious and just as we ordered. The restaurant has a nice ambiance and comfortable seating. Our server was so pleasant and prompt with refills and to check that we were doing okay. We will be back!

What a delightful experience! The prime rib was outstanding and the 10 ounce New York strip was absolutely perfect. Loved the twice baked mashed potatoes and even the salad was more than just basic. Complimentary loaf of bread and the waitress was so kind. Will definitely be back and next time will get a dessert!

This is the local family restaurant in WCH. It's all ok but nothing is special. The best thing about it was that the service was fast! We started with deviled eggs. A bit too much vinegar in the mix and no other flavors came through. Just ok. Next we split a mushroom Swiss burger and a chicken bacon ranch wrap. This wrap was listed as a feature item but again it was just ok. The burger was cooked well done (not a fan of well done here) - but had a good fire grill taste. There were no other seasonings so it was burger, onions, mushrooms, cheese served on a plain bun. Again, it was just ok. Sides were broccoli and Cole slaw. I don't think I'd come back for just ok.

My third visit prime rib medium rare, onion rings, real horseradish, fresh baked bread for the table.

My third visit for the prime-rib and it was again excellent! Instead of the salad I had the French onion soup which was a slight up charge but excellent ! Also instead of the mashed potatoes and gravy I had their hand breaded onion rings that were delicious! I took home a pice of their chocolate pie that was wonderful! I've upgraded my review rating from 4 to 5 stars not because the food was any better as its alway been excellent, but because this time we were a birthday party of 9 older individuals, and our server took the challenge in hand with flexibility and professionalism without missing a beat. I also got to try one of the fried chicken livers which were wonderful! Another great meal and experience!

My husband got the fried chicken, I had the salmon dinner.

The service was great. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and attentive. The food was "down home" and finger lickin' good. my husband enjoyed the fried chicken and I enjoyed the salmon. The pies were amazing. My husband had the coconut cream and it will put you into a happy coma state in no time at all. Haha. Their pies are homemade. Flaky crust was delicious and the fillings were superb. I had cherry.

We were driving through Ohio on 35, and I have a friend who lives in Washington Court House, but we'd never been there. My husband is a U.S. History teacher, and the name has always intrigued me, so I suggested we stop there mid-afternoon on a Tuesday for dinner. Thanks to a quick Yelp! search, we found The Willow, and I'm SO glad we did! It was wonderful! Since it was Tuesday, the Baked Steak was one of the daily specials, and as we learned from the sign, Chicken and Noodles are ALWAYS a daily special, all day, every day. My husband was thrilled! There's a full bar, so we were also able to have a drink (their Long Islands are on point!) and relax for awhile before resuming our drive. We decided we HAD to have dessert, too. I'd seen pictures of the Fried Cheesecake in the Yelp! reviews, and alerted my husband, a huge cheese cake fan. Then I learned that it was "two for $5" pie day, but the Fried Cheesecake, not being a pie, wasn't included in that special. Sooooo ... I had to get a piece for myself, and another one to go! I can rationalize just about anything that has to do with pie! I had the peanut butter pie at the restaurant, and the banana cream to go, which I ate last night, the day after we were at the restaurant. Both were delicious, but I'd go with the peanut butter again if I could only choose one -- it was light, fluffy, and creamy, and not at all too sweet. Perfection! Service was excellent, parking was ample, and we were seated immediately when we arrived, even though it was already fairly busy mid-to-late afternoon early in the week. We're going to be in Dayton in a few months for a weekend event, and we're already planning a side trip down to Washington Court House so we can visit again!

BEST birthday experience. Good food and great staff.

You see horses next to a basic wooden building. Dirty floors. Nothing fancy. You see a big porch with places to drink cheap beer. You see a bunch of little tables inside with places to sit down. You might see a dance floor. You probably see a bunch of relics from the country or the west, including cattle skulls on the wall, wooden barrels, saddles, horseshoes, and cowboy hats. You see a lot of references to the Wild West along with Cowboys and Cowgirls. You might see a speckling of some other Americana, like an American Flag - What you are seeing is the Line Shack. My wife and I visited this place for my cousin's wedding reception. When she told me it was at "a saloon" where she met who is now her husband. What I imagined was pretty much spot on with what I experienced. A true country bar with every stereotype wrapped up in one location. Along with my wife, my cousin, and about a hundred other people we had a great time. There was no line dancing, but I was waiting for it. Perhaps another night =) The bartenders and servers were all very nice and very attentive. I can't speak for the prices as the cost was coming out of my uncle's pocket, but I imagine is isn't too expensive. I also get the feeling there isn't a huge selection of bars in the area. Go to the Line Shack and have a good time.
