We've been to BSG three times this summer - great experience each time. Waiters/waitresses always do a nice job remember your order - not many write it down - but they always deliver what you ask for. I've had numerous sandwiches on their menu, and the wings as well. It's good food, reasonably priced, and done well without much fuss. I've been there with a party of nine and just with my wife - seating has not been an issue. Nice little find in the heart of the town of Grove city. After a day of shopping, we were hungry. Missed lunch so had an early dinner. The service was lovely. The atmosphere was very nice. We seated next to the Christmas tree in a comfy booth. I ordered the seared salmon, with rice and broccoli. It was perfection. I don't know what others have experienced but this is a quaint little place and is locally ran. I had their BBQ Sandwich and it was as good as back home. The food was great and for the price was even better. The atmosphere was upbeat with their trivia nights on Tuesday. My waitress was great and you could tell she was tired lol. I'm was visiting the area and staying in an Airbnb nearby. I had just drove up from Pittsburgh Airport and was starving and tired from my early morning flight and travel day. As I drove through the cute downtown area I saw this restaurant and stopped in. I love dining at local owned restaurants when traveling because a lot of times you find the most delicious food and amazing people. Unfortunately my first experience with this restaurant was not great at all. I was not greeted at all, and decided to sit at the bar and just order a burger Togo and have a drink while I waited. The bartender was unfriendly and it felt like I was an inconvenience. I should have listened to my gut but I was tired and just thought maybe it's just me being tired. This guy can't possibly be this rude. But sadly he was. I asked if he could make an old fashioned, he rolled his eyes and sighed loudly. I then said ok no worries just give me a makers and ginger. He begrudgingly made the old fashioned and it was the worst one I've ever had. How you can screw up an old fashioned is beyond me but this lovely snarky fellow did. I received my Togo burger and fries quickly and paid my tab. I did in fact leave this rude bartender a 30% tip why because he needs the money for a new trade. So I totally came here as a second choice to a place up the street that ended up being closed...but I am so glad I stopped in! It was also Black Friday so we definitely needed some good fuel after a full day of shopping. From the outside, you can't even really tell it's there unless you're looking for it specifically. But once I stepped inside, I realized it's actually a much bigger place with even a full bar. The service was fast and friendly. For appetizer, I tried the buffalo chicken dip. It was so cheesy and ooey-gooey, and even had...wait for it...pieces of BACON in it! Side note. The menu stated a tri-color tortilla chip, but the chips I received were only one color, the normal color. (Not that it mattered to me at all, just something ironic to mention haha) After the dip, I ordered the Swiss burger which was very juicy and had a good amount of toppings. I am so disappointed with our visit this time. We ate here about 6 wks ago and it was the best burger we ever had. So Incredible that I raved about it to our friends. We drove 40 miles just to go there and it was well worth it. I even passed on our compliments to the chef/cooks that night. BUT..... we returned last wknd on 10/28 and it all changed. The Service was the worst. Our waitress took our order and we never saw her again. We noticed she was sitting at the bar eating dinner for 30 minutes while we waited. Eventually the Bar tender delivered our food in a hurried fashion. Nobody ever offered us drink refills and we were waiving out hands. This place failed in all areas. They were not that busy either. I sure miss the waitress from the first visit, she was awesome. But NOT the Brunette in the Black Pants and Red Shirt. She's in the wrong business. They must have a new chef because the Pittsburgher was Cold and not fresh. I overheard the patrons next to us sending back their food for being cold too. but, My wive's salmon was good she stated. I have been to Broad Street Grille a couple of times before and ordered dinner and the food was fairly good and service was friendly - but not a stellar meal nor a truly terrible meal. Today however must have been an off day. I stopped in with friends to sit at the bar for a glass of wine and an appetizer. There were several fruit flies buzzing the bar. I ordered the flatbread pizza on the appetizer menu with tomatoes and onions. The pizza arrived and was cold. The cheese wasn't melted nor were the vegetables toasted. So we sent it back and when it returned it was still the same - cold, anemic and watery. It is unfortunate. The server did his best to try to correct it, so I can't fault the server. read more

The food was decent, but the service wasn't. Our waitress wasn't rude to us, but she made us feel like more of an inconvenience than anything. We both got a cheeseburger and fries and I had asked for a side of ranch, and when she brought the food out it wasn't on the plate. She walked away so fast after putting our food down that i didn't get the chance to ask for it, and the only other time she came back was to put our check on the table. She charged us 50 cents for the ranch we never got, but by the time we got the check we just wanted to leave so we didn't argue it. We had leftovers since the burger was pretty big, and we had to ask her for boxes because she didn't bother to ask us. Seriously unimpressed by the service. I walked in and found a booth, my waiter greeted me with a sharp "How many?" as opposed to a proper welcome. I replied with my usual "I'm fine thanks, yourself?" and was barked at with a "Fine, how many?" Instantly lost any hope of a tip. Zero personality. The restaurant itself is blah, clean and nicely painted in shades of brown and tan (oh, let's call them 'earth tones'), assuming one can tell with the dim lighting (which I like, personally). Hoping the food will make up for the crappy waiter; when he came to take my order in an impatient tone, I asked him if he doesn't care for his job. He claims to love it, you could fool me. I also had to ask what the special was. I asked how the burgers are and in his way spoke highly of them. I ordered what they call a Rust-Burger, which if I remember from the menu is just a normal hamburger with normal toppings. Waiting on that as we speak. One point in his favor, he did address me as 'sir' when he asked if I cared for mustard or mayonnaise. The sound of "Family Feud" was bright and clear from the bar so everyone could hear it, want to or not. Food arrived. I asked for medium and it was just right. On the greasy side and had a hint telling me that part of the grill needed cleaning. Burger was made fresh as we're the *generous* fries that appeared to be fresh cut (can't confirm or deny but appeared to be). Couldn't finish the fries, those will probably be in an omelette later. The men's room was bright and clean, plenty of room. Those who saw the movie can finish the sentence, "... the Virgin Mary would be proud to ... " The check was delivered face-up instead of face-down. Yes, I did leave a tip. Don't ask me why. Hopefully it will serve less as a 'tip' and more of a 'hint'. read more

The other reviews are correct in saying no one really greets you at the door and there are no signs whether to seat yourself or to wait. It wasn't but a minute until someone did come our way but first timers it was confusing. Our waitress was very polite and did her job, suggested he sweet potato fries which were homemade and delish!! they were super busy so it was a little slow service but for good reason! That doesn't bother me. As for the food - we ordered cheese sticks for an app - which seemed to be homemade (good breading) they were delicious! My husband got a burger and it was large but the patty was thin, he said it was good - with fresh cut fries that were great as well. I ordered the fish - Mind you it is Lent and they had an all you can eat special - should be good in that aspect right? I beg to differ. I am NOT one to diss food, complain, or send back - I eat just about anything ha! But this fish was displeasing and I was so upset because it's all I wanted!!! We walked into a restaurant before here and walked out because they didn't have fish! So I was disappointed. The breading seemed homemade, but it was sooo soggy and mushy - terrible texture. When we walked in we were not greeted, and there was no sign telling us to seat ourselves. After it was clear no one was coming to tell us where to go, we went ahead and sat. Service was slow coming to our table to give us drinks and take our orders. I got a quesadilla with chicken and my husband got a basic burger with bacon. The quesadilla was bland and really had no flavor - Just tasted like grilled food. The bacon on the burger was over cooked, and for $1.50 extra to add bacon, it was not worth it. The food and service really isn't even my biggest complaint. What was most annoying is that there was no baby changing stall in the bathroom - men's or women's. My daughter had a messy diaper, and I wasn't about to just let her continue to sit in it. So I changed her right there in the booth. We've been here before and had a better experience but tonight's experience was really bad. We arrived and stood awkwardly at the door. No one greeted us for at least five minutes. When they did they told us it would be a few minutes while they waited for someone to pay. Once we were seated they got our drinks and then we waited. And waited. And waited. We arrived at the restaurant at 6:35 and walked out at 7:10. No one spoke to us or even stopped by the table to say it would be a minute. Any of those things are common courtesy in a restaurant. We had read great reviews on Yelp so we decided to give it a try. Maybe it was an "off" day but I wasn't impressed with the restaurant. The interior is nice and charming. It took us a few minutes to realize that we were supposed to seat ourselves. There was only one woman running the restaurant and the bar. I felt a little sorry for her. I don't know if this is typical or if they thought they wouldn't have a busy day because it was Black Friday. It took a long time to have our order taken and to get our food. I ordered the fish sandwich with coleslaw and my husband ordered the Cajun wings and fries. My fish sandwich had a light breading and was very flaky. The coleslaw was really good. My husband's wings looked really good but the seasoning was super salty and no Cajun flavor at all. He only ate 1/3 of his food. There are a lot of locals here and it seems to be a favorite for them. Visited here for the first time in a very long time. We stopped going previously because the food and service were horrible. The manager was always grumpy Pushy and rude. we were told it has changed and we thought we'd give it another try. We stopped in a couple days ago. We were greeted immediately and were sat. Our waitress, Amy, was very friendly and helpful. she was efficient and knowledgeable. it was busy. There were only a couple tables without people in them. Our waitress was the only one working. (She did great though. Ran around at road runner speed) she waited on every table in the dining room as well as people at the bar. i Felt bad for her because she seemed to be the only person in the building other than the cooks behind the scenes. Again, she was awesome. our food was great. I ordered the salmon and my husband ordered the pork bbq. It was fabulous. we couldn't express how much we enjoyed it. Even had the waitress tell the cook how delicious it was. Kudos to whomever was cooking. You can tell the cooks take pride in what they do and care about their customers.just Fabulous. the only reason I'm giving this a 3 and not a 5 is because 1) the place was not the cleanest. Especially the bathrooms. 2) the beer was not cold like normal draft beer. 3) even though Amy did a wonderful job taking care of us, I feel as if the manager could have scheduled another person to wait on tables with her, or at least bar tend, during high traffic times of the dinner hours. read more

Their booths are the absolute worst in the market though because you feel like you're at an 86 degree angle when you sit in them. Finding a parking spot can be tricky if it's really busy, so watch out for the flying college students in their utterly hideous 217,000+ mile Kia Spectras when you're crossing the one-way street! read more

Fantastic! Someone in the kitchen really cares. The service was kind and attentive. The local beer was delicious. Mussels appetizer to die for, short ribs that were almost as good as mom's, and if you get the steak ask for the bleu cheese sauce from the pasta dish. They'll charge you $0.75 for it and you'd have gladly paid more. If you're looking for a good meal in this area I recommend it highly! read more

I love my burgers, but this one had no flavor. Burgers topped with even more meat are great, but the pork on top of this one was a hard, conglomerated pile of old meat. I know there's not many choices in "downtown" Grove City... but do not choose this one. They do not deserve your patronage, as they care so little about their establishment. I understand if you're not *passionate* about working at the Broad Street Grille in small town, PA... but please, at least be civil and courteous!
