I've been meaning to write this review for a long time because this office truly deserves it. Every…read moresingle visit has been a great experience! Dr. Lakshman is incredibly talented, knowledgeable, and so easy to talk to. He has a way of making you feel comfortable from the moment you meet him. I've been seeing him for quite some time now, and he consistently does an amazing job. He listens, takes his time with me, and I never feel rushed. One of my favorite parts of every visit is seeing the office staff. They always greet you with a smile. They're genuinely kind, welcoming, and always so upbeat. It's one of the few medical offices where I actually look forward to my appointments because everyone makes you feel comfortable from the moment you walk in. I'm so grateful I found this practice. In fact, I already have future appointments on the books, which says everything about the confidence I have in Dr. Lakshman and his team. I wholeheartedly recommend this practice. This team deserves far more than five stars!

So professional and caring and the best nurse we have ever had the good fortune to meet. The Best! Going to the hospital wouldn't be so scary and confusing if we had more amazing health professionals like her. A real gem. Hope the hospital appreciates all her hard efforts and caring! The doctors are all great and the parking is the most easy to access of any medical place I've been. The front desk is a little lacking but they are trying their best. Please be aware that you should call to confirm when they send out an appointment reminder. They will literally never mention this in their actual call, voicemail, or text but you need to call back whenever you get the appointment reminder for your visit. That was a bit of an anxiety inducing surprise when we arrive hours early as instructed but it got settled eventually.

This review is based on my experience with Dr. Amy Chonghasawat. After having two unsuccessful…read moreprocedures with a dermatologist to treat a perianal abscess, I was referred to a general surgeon for further investigation. When I first saw Dr. Amy, I expressed how frustrated I was after suffering with that condition for almost a year, and I asked her to perform an exploratory surgery to find the root of the problem. The surgery was scheduled and performed, but once again, it was not successful. Dr. Amy did the exact same thing that the dermatologist had already done, even though I had told her how he had failed me. This led to more distress, and wasted time and money. She scheduled me for a second surgery. I desperately asked her to listen to me because I had been suffering with that condition for so long, felt that the issue was deeper, and asked her to be more thorough to find out what was happening to me. The surgery happened, and she finally found the issue: the abscess had developed into an anal fistula. Dr. Amy performed a fistulotomy. After the surgery, I received no explanation of what a fistulotomy is or what had been done. I was sent home with instructions to take pain and bowel movement medications, but with no instructions at all on what to do or not do after this kind of surgery. The post-surgery recovery was extremely painful. Two weeks later, I had my follow-up appointment, and she finally told me exactly what had been done. I was in shock to find out how invasive and delicate the surgery had been, and I realized how reckless she was for having sent me home without proper recovery instructions, which caused me to be in much more pain than I was supposed to be. Not only that, but after checking the surgical area, I had to face the fact that the surgery was not successful. After the surgery, I did a lot of research about fistulas. Based on her explanation of what she performed, I felt like she did what was convenient for her, and not what was necessary and efficient for my kind of fistula. Dr. Amy wasted my time and money and caused me a lot of distress. Even though she seemed like a kind person, she was not experienced enough to treat me. I then asked for a referral to see a specialist, a colorectal surgeon. She offered to have me seen by one of her colleagues at the same office who had more experience with fistulas, but I was so sick of being misled and mistreated by doctors that I declined. I got the referral and had a third surgery for the fistula. Thank God this doctor was very experienced and successfully treated me. It has now been over a year since my last surgery, and despite all the trauma with the bad doctors, I am fistula-free. To summarize, unfortunately, I do not recommend Dr. Amy. I feel she was reckless and often did not listen to me. To everyone complaining that the office does not pick up the phone, it is true. The receptionist personally told me they ignore calls when they are too busy, so you just have to keep trying.

I will…read morenever be seeing Dr. Young Tran ever again, he is the most rude and condescending doctor I've ever encountered. First of all I waited for an hour after my appt time to even see him. Throughout the whole appointment, he never asked how I was doing / feeling and made me feel stupid for having concerns about my health. I hardly got a word in and eventually started crying during the appointment because I was so overwhelmed at how condescending and dismissive he was being. Him and his assistant just stood there watched me cry the whole time and didn't even bother to offer me tissues!! I had to ask for one eventually because I couldn't stop tearing up LOL. They were very insensitive and unempathetic. I've never felt so UNSAFE and even more paranoid about my health after a doctor's appt. No one should ever feel this way at a doctor's office... However I did speak with a medical assistant (Lourdes) afterwards and she was very emphathetic, patient and she was able to calm me down. I had to take sick time off work for this and he completely wasted my time ): also he has a lot of bad reviews online too and they were all from years ago, so this behavior is definitely a repeated pattern. Huge red flag. Management needs to look into this and do something about it because this is unacceptable.

Post op 7 months now…read more I had been trying to establish post op care with a in network bariatric surgeon but it was such a big headache. I asked to get my labs checked and they couldn't even get that right. I reached out to Dr. Doraiswamy after 3 failed attempts. I explained the situation and he quickly got back to me to say not to worry, he will order labs and schedule a phone follow up to review labs. Same day, I got my telehealth appointment scheduled and labs emailed. I went to quest that weekend and got the done in preparation for my call the next week after Easter. Dr. D asked how I have been doing and reviewed the labs. B was a bit high so he recommended reducing to every other day. Vitamin A low but may choose to supplement in diet or via over the counter vitamin. We set some achievable goals with bumping up my exercise to focus on type and duration. I have another follow up call in 4 months. I cannot say enough great things about Dr. D. I am doing well 7 months post op/45 lbs down. Eating has normalized (my new norm). Occasional nausea which he explained to avoid drinking with meals. This will cause that weird funnel overflowing effect which will cause nausea. No other side effects that I have noted. This has been a very comfortable journey thus far. He has been a stellar surgeon before and after surgery. I am so happy I can still follow up with him throughout my journey to a healthier me. If you are contemplating any weight loss surgery, I continue to highly recommend Dr. D. He is the best! Also, special thanks to the office staff for being responsive and efficient with scheduling.

Because of Chloe's efforts, we're able to take care of my dad to stop his condition from getting worse.  If not for her help, my dad would not have received proper care, and as a result he may be back to the hospital soon and in much worse state with his age/condition/ravaging Covid cases everywhere.  This is not only a life issue but would have incurred so much more unnecessary costs for the insurance.  I cannot thank Chloe enough.  And she continued to help us with insurance supplies issues with the medical supplies company that with bureaucracy at these companies never would have gotten resolved without her hep. Chloe's efforts are very highly appreciated and words are not sufficient to describe the tremendous aid she's given through her work.
