Chose that & a featured Lavender VaLatte with Oat Milk. The clerk put the pastries on an aluminum tray lined with a wax paper sheet but I had her bag my Cruffin. She proceeded to make my Lavender Latte & I saw her pouring regular whole milk in the frother so I asked if that was Oatmilk & she stopped herself & said "No it's not. Sorry, I didn't write the order down" or something to that effect. I sat down by the one soda while she made my drink which was smooth & subtly lavender. The pizza bread didn't have a chewy bread texture and was soft. My friend arrived and ordered a large Americano, a Cruffin, Tart -pastel de nata & savory tomato/cheese pizza twist Danish pastry. She loved the pastel de nata as it reminded her of Portuguese tarts. We sat on the wooden tables with benched seating & chairs. The sofas are soft but one fabric chair had stains on it. There are other small tables & barstools with counter seating. Nice natural light flows in. Bathrooms were clean & additional seating was outside on a deck. The coffee is so smooth and delicious! I ordered a large (more like a medium), iced blackberry vanilla latte (house made syrups). It was so delicious! I did add 2 shots to make it a quad, as it had been a long, early morning for me. Their espresso is not bitter- it is just beautiful! I wish they had larger sizes so I could sip on it longer haha. The pastries are hit or miss- I thought the poptart was great, the cherry streusel was alright, but my friend said the cinnamon roll was a bit dry and needed more icing (it was big). And to my surprise I find this place called "Brew K Cafe", the term hidden gem doesn't do it justice, this place in my opinion offers one of the best coffee I've had in a long time. They offer coffee, some meat items, bubble tea, lemonades among other items. Upon entering the establishment you see a good amount of seating for the size of the place, you are kindly greeted by the people behind the counter which usually are the proprietors of the restaurant. On this episode I got a "Dolce Iced Coffee", I kid you not it was one of my favorites. If you find yourself near Cibolo and you have a craving for something unique you have to give Brew K Cafe a try.
