    Pho Bo

Pho Bo was disappointing, and while I usually enjoy fresh noodles, soggy ones really ruin the experience. Also, I'm used to thin, tender slices of beef the ones I had were thick and tough.

The best Vietnamese food I've had in years!!! Everything was so fresh and had beautiful presentation. We did get the best service but the food was good enough for us to return.

Great food. Excellent customers service. Will come back anytime with friends and family.

Spicy pot with thai broth for two. Includes veggies, beef, and seafood.

Spicy spot hit the right spot. From the friendly and attentive service to the delicious spicy pot, everything was wonderful. We ordered the pot for two and it was more than plenty. The thinly sliced beef was so tender it melted like butter. Everything was fresh and flavorful and the tofu skin was a pleasant and unexpected surprise. I will be returning for another visit soon.

Restaurant: Pho 4 Star What We Ordered:…read more Large Vietnamese Egg Rolls PW5 Combo (Thập Cẩm) Mango Sticky Rice A-List Take: The food was the star of the visit. The pho was flavorful, the meats were tender, and everything tasted fresh. The mango sticky rice was absolutely delicious and ended the meal on a high note. The large Vietnamese egg rolls were crispy and flavorful, but I was surprised they weren't served with a lemon wedge, which is something I usually expect. The PW5 Combo listed bean sprouts on the menu, but they were missing from the dish. While it didn't take away from the overall flavor, I do think it's important for the dish to match the menu description. Service started off strong. Our waiter was attentive and checked on us regularly at the beginning of the meal. However, as our dinner progressed it became difficult to get his attention when we were ready for a to-go container and the check. Would I Order It Again?Absolutely. The food alone is worth coming back for. I'd just hope for a little more consistency with the menu items and a more attentive finish to the dining experience. Final Take: Great food, especially the pho and mango sticky rice. A few small service and presentation details kept it from earning five s, but it's definitely a restaurant I'd recommend. I guess it matches its name (4 s). A-List Rating: (4/5) Until next bite... this is A-List, keeping it deliciously honest.

Service staff was attentive and helpful with food recommendations. Since it's a full bar, the bartender/waiter provided good soju recommendations and even let us sample a few varieties before buying a 2nd bottle ($14.99) While they offer AYCE for $30.99 with a 2 hour limit, we went with dinner plates instead. We just didn't feel like cooking our own food that late in the night. Our banchan dishes were excellent and yes we were able to get seconds. They cook in classic Korean style. Their beef bulgogi was good but the star was their spicy pork bulgogi

This requirement is not posted anywhere on their website, menu, or in-store signage. If this is an actual policy, it needs to be clearly disclosed so customers are aware before coming in. The restaurant was not busy at the time, with several open tables, so it did not appear to be related to capacity or kitchen limitations. I asked if I could speak with a manager to clarify, but was told the server's decision was final and no manager was available. Overall, it was frustrating to arrive expecting a clearly advertised late-night all-you-can-eat option only to be told it is not available to solo diners without any prior notice. Better communication and transparency would prevent situations like this in the future.

This time I saw a review of the pho and it is recommended to ask for ribs and oxtail which I did that. I just got back from Vietnam not too long ago and let me tell you this is hands down the best pho in San Antonio! The owner is so so friendly! He took me to the kitchen showing me how he cook the broth. We had a chat about Vietnam and the food and different style of pho between north and south. At the end of my meal he brought out snacks and insisted on me taking a hand full of them! I believe this pho is only offered on weekends and make sure to ask for the mix. For a moment they thought I was ordering one of each This supermarket and cafe truly give you a Vietnam experience without the need to get on a plane. Highly recommend

Pros: - Pretty good selection for San Antonio…read more - Freshness varies relative to when you visit vs. when they got a shipment, but it can be decent! Cons: - Not fully stocked .. ever?? There's always gaps in the shelves from sold out products.. but there's probably a serviceable substitute available. Also prices aren't always clearly displayed - Asian grocery store smell (or maybe it's a pro if you're feeling nostalgic haha) This store leans Vietnamese and Chinese but, true to its name, it also carries a decent selection of other Asian products (like Japanese and Korean, I'm personally not as familiar with Thai so can't speak on that). It's great to have fresh Asian produce that's reasonably priced - i.e. $1.50-2.50 / lb for leafy greens. $2 for enoki mushrooms. There's also a strong seafood section with live fish. Location is super convenient off of I-35. Parking is easy. I come here once a month or so to restock my Asian groceries.

It was a jungle style curry (no coconut milk) and was definitely one of the best jungle style curries I have had. It had a very interesting and complex flavor. We also got the sticky rice with taro wrapped in banana leaf dessert: Sticky rice soaked in coconut milk and sugar with taro wrapped in banana leaves, then steamed. It was so really delicious. Skip K-Pot and eat here. YOU WON'T REGRET IT!…read more For starters, the inside of the restaurant is cozy. Very clean, spacious, and you can hear your thoughts. The staff is attentive and our drink orders were taken as soon as we sat. The waitress was patient with us and explained how the all you can eat works. We were used to K-Pot where you just order and order, whereas here you have a limit to what and how much you can order. You are limited to so many items at a time, and we found ourselves actually enjoying that. We were not overwhelmed with too much food and no space. You don't have to get up from your table at all, everything is brought to you. All of the sides they bring you to go with the all you can eat are so thought out and flavorful. The noodles, the cucumbers and the squash, everything. And everything is prepared fresh. All of our sides and soup came out hot and steaming. Not like heat lamp hot, like fresh out of the pan hot. We got the ttekboki, fried dumplings, and vegetable tempura. They were all delicious! Now the quality of the meats here is MILES beyond the chain KBbQ places. All of the cuts were a decent thickness, and were portioned quite well. They were very flavorful. We ordered thinly sliced steak, spicy bulgogi, bbq chicken, and pork belly. All were delicious. We were a table of 3 adults and 2 kids and did not even get a refill on the meats. They also have a smoke vent to help with the grill. We really appreciated that. And we never had to change our grill, because things did not burn. Often at other places they are walking around having to change grills 4-5 times. Overall, this has become our favorite Korean Restaurant. We already have plans to return and bring friends and family. Give this place a try. The food speaks for itself, but the service and people are also awesome. 25 years in business, and it shows! (We ate everything, had no leftovers, and failed to take pictures because we were so into the food haha)
