Before every review, I recheck my photos. I feel irritated that Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) is not honest nor transparent. Boba Chew Chew (Walnut's) menu says the Strawberry Matcha costs $6.45. My photographed receipt (before toppings and taxes) shows I paid $6.75. I understand that the discrepancy was small (30 cents more), but I rarely see a menu lie about prices. I hope Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) fixes that issue asap. Regarding the drink, the Strawberry Matcha resembles the texture of blended vegetables. It's a chunky, thick drink. Thankfully, the flavors are not unpleasant. This thick drink still flows smoothly, and it has that prominent fresh matcha taste. I also enjoyed the subtle strawberry flavor; it tastes like finely smashed strawberries rather than syrup. In addition, I paid 75 cent to add the mini boba topping. These mini boba are a fun, playful novelty. They're very tiny and squishy like the tiniest marshmallows. One bite and they vanish. I visited Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) on Wednesday (around 8PM). I asked the staff for a "Strawberry Matcha." Staff complied with a smile. Staff is friendly and quick. The drink was complete in one minute and 55 seconds. Fast!! However, Boba Chew Chew (Walnut's) greatest strength is its ambiance. Despite the menu dishonesty and average drink, Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) is beautiful. It's decorated like a themed cafe in Downtown Disney. The location is clean; the upbeat music is pleasant; and the train decor is extremely cute. Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) is lovely to look at. Overall, my experience at Boba Chew Chew (Walnut) was not the best. Thankfully, I enjoyed the charming ambiance and fun mini boba. I got regular boba, and it wasn't too chewy. 4) Orange Creamsicle - This was shockingly not orange lol. The taste reminded me of a cream soda. It's perfect when you pair it with a savory food item. 5) Blueberry yogurt - Yummm! It tasted exactly as it sounds. The blueberry flavor definitely came through, and the consistency wasn't too thick. 6) Cookie butter cold brew - I'm not a cold brew person either bc I don't like watered down coffee. This was actually decent. I heavily mixed the cookie butter, and it gave it some flavor. 7) Mozzarella sticks - The cheese pull went crazy. If you love cheese, this is the perfect appetizer for you. 8) Gyozas - These were pan seared and filled with meat. The outer portion was very crispy. 9) Chicken & fries - Popcorn chicken served with crinkled fries. They don't season it, so make sure you ask for some spice. I sprinkled the spicy seasoning all over the chicken & fries. I wished they hand tossed it. 10) Bulgogi fries - Sooo cheesy and delicious! The bulgogi sat on the crinkled fries with a generous amount of cheese on top. 11) Chew Chew Katsu - My favorite dish! The katsu was absolutely crispyyy. I finally tried Boba Chew Chew on a Saturday night around 8 PM. We weren't super hungry, so we just got small stuff--Bulgogi Rice, popcorn chicken, and fries. The Chicken Katsu was already sold out, which kinda sucked. We got Matcha Milk Tea with oat milk, and Strawberry Dairy-Free Milk Tea. They both were weak and barely had any flavor. The food was okay but nothing special--even though we live 3 minutes away, it was lukewarm by the time we got home. The Bulgogi Rice and popcorn chicken looked plain, like something from a grocery store freezer. The fries were basic, just regular fries. The café itself is cute and fun for photos, but it's not family-friendly--no high chairs or bathroom, so we had to take our food to go. This review is so overdue! I love going to Boba Chew Chew. They have the best cheese foam. Their drinks used to be served in soda-like containers. During my last visit, I saw that they have an upcharge if you want a soda can container. The inside is very aesthetically pleasing. There are lots of areas where you can take pictures. They have a couple of tables and a long snake-like bench where you can enjoy your drink. I have tried a variety of drinks but my favorite are the lavender and jasmine milk teas with cheese foam. Cute spot with convenient parking. I stopped by for a quick boba grab with my boyfriend but watch out because getting a drink was not quick if that's what you're looking for. We've been coming to Boba Chew Chew for a little while now and this is one of our favorite spots for a quick treat, one that both my kids ask for by name. While I'm not one to typically rate for ambiance or service, this place really stands out in both of these areas. For ambiance, this place is just plain cute. The train theme is cute and clean, the seasonal decorations are always very well done, and my wife always snickers when Piccadilly station shows up on the flip board. Honestly, I don't think the boba tea section stands out too much in comparison to other places in the area (don't get me wrong, they're solid), but where this place truly shines for me is in their snows and service. Now, we have our favorite drinks, the seasonal Blossom Snow in the spring being our all-time favorite and the Starburst (tastes like Hi-Chew) being a close second for me, but what's great is that our kids can just name the fruits that they want and the helpful folks can give them a great recommendation every time. These guys go above and beyond and are more than happy to help you find the drink you're looking for. I'd say the pricing is a bit on the expensive side, but the texture of the snow and flavors are worth it. You order drink from order window, they are friendly and knowledgeable. I order matcha cheesecake milk tea with boba(+$0.75 option). Taste is okay with matcha, rich white cheesecake cream at middle which does taste like the cake. Boba is large, soft, and chewy. If you do not mix the layers and ingredients, they taste less than average. If you mixed them well they go well together and taste surprisingly good like matcha flavored cheesecake with boba. It's a bit expensive to me but price is determined by what you think it's worth. Definitely interesting taste and will explore other unique flavors if any in the cafe in the future. read more

The shop is reminiscent of a European train station. The décor is so charming - vintage luggage and world clocks, in addition to a variety of IG worthy spots. The menu even resembles a destination board. Much like a train, the booths are small so I would not recommend this place for a large gathering. They also do not have a restroom for customers. It was luscious, creamy, and not too sweet with a nice essence of rose. The milk teas are made with a non-dairy creamer, which made my tummy happy! However, soy/oak milk alternatives are available for Matcha Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea, & Dalgona Milk Tea. Graciela had the Passion Fruit Tea. I could smell the Passion Fruit. I had a sip, and it was delicious! Each drink is sealed with the same style of top like a soda can, so you crack it open like an ice cold one. The café is located across the street from Mt.
