I got the Taro Heaven and was quite disappointed -- I could definitely taste the powder, and the boba pearls weren't cooked thoroughly. A lot of them were a bit hard, which really took away from the drink. At $7.25, it didn't feel worth it. I was planning to try their popcorn chicken, but they stopped selling it just a few days ago -- such a bummer. The popcorn shrimp wasn't available either (not sure if it's also discontinued or just sold out for the day). So I ended up getting the fried fish balls, and they were better than expected! Honestly, they didn't look very appealing, but they tasted delicious and were quite spicy. It was 10 fish balls for $7.50, which felt reasonable. The wait was long for a boba shop. There was only one staff member taking orders, and I think she was also making all the drinks. There were people in the kitchen handling food orders, but the front was clearly understaffed. Last time I came here on a Saturday night, I waited over 30 minutes -- thankfully, I didn't have to wait as long this time. Mixed experience overall. The fish balls were the highlight, but the drink and wait time brought it down a notch. read more

Meeting up with an old friend and decided to get a treat. We both ordered Mangonada, we were so curious of the flavor profile. The employee taking our order said it was her favorite. It was sweet, salty and spicy! We liked it but preferred to mix the drink up so the flavors had a more cohesive taste. If you don't like texture in your smoothie this is not for you as the spice creates some grit. We were happily surprised by how large the drink was. The location was clean and neat but as always the mall parking lot was very full just after dinner time. Definitely worth a return visit maybe to try more of their food menu. read more

I really enjoyed the food and my boba; and all of my friends enjoyed their as well. The ambiance was very nice and clean and they had games for us to play and just chill and relax, it was really nice to be able to hang and not worry about anything. The customer service was great and Ben was very nice and friendly and explained everything to us and made us feel very comfortable and welcomed. Super cute place! I loved the vine wall and the vibe is cool. It's small but if you can snag a seat, they have some tables, high table and a couch. The couch seat has some games on the table if you're wanting to chill and have fun. The boba was good, I wasn't a fan of the Taro Heaven because it had caramel in it (too much sugar). Now the drinks themselves were good, I'd have them again compared to all these other Provo/Orem places but the thing is is that the prices for add ons isn't great when you barely get an add on! Really love the mix of "traditional" flavors and their unique flavors. They do a really good job of making a smooth smoothie - and I was surprised by how much I loved the cheese foam. Fun new boba place at University Mall! We tried the Taro Heaven which is a taro milk tea smoothie mixed with cheese foam (tastes a bit like cheesecake). We thought it was really yummy!! They had a good mix of classic and unique flavors that all sounded really good. I wish I liked the drinks here because it makes me sad to be writing this review! Staff was very friendly and the interior is super cute. The boba wasn't cooked very well and tasted quite bland. The strawberry matcha used fresh strawberries which is great but the matcha was grainy and the drink itself wasn't flavorful. Please make another location in Salt Lake Area! It's our second time in a week and we don't live near Orem the Galaxy drink of strawberry and kiwi has the perfect blend of flavors. Brown sugar boba is the best I've had around here (comparing to at least 7 other shops). My only critique is that it's so sweet, and I'm the kind of person who usually orders for more sugar. So I just asked them to reduce it 25%. Speaking of, one of the best things is customer service. Even during the busy holidays, they're not terse or rude. I ordered a few items off their menu and was throughly impressed with how fast the items came out. If you're looking for a boba spot, this is def the one because the boba pearls were made perfectly. Other places are usually mushy, but I loved the chewiness and flavor of the pearls. For food wise, I ordered the Pad Thai, Egg Rolls and Pho and I loved each item! The Pad Thai is extremely tasty and the chicken inside of it is seasoned which makes the chicken tasty on its own. The egg rolls are packed together tightly and there's an even distribution of noodles and meat inside of them. Loved the pho! It was a very deep flavor and the meat given to you taste delicious! This places is super cute & inviting, and the staff is also super sweet, however the boba was just not great. It wasn't very sweet, and we got taro milk tea. I can't speak for the other items though. The boba balls were a great texture though. You did have to pay for them and any other add in. Which is fine! We ended up paying $20 for 3 drinks.
