Boba places have been popping up like crazy in Orem. There are at least 5 Boba shops within walking distance, yet Chat Chat is always the busiest. The first time I tried this I did not know how to order and ended up with a funky drink and the chewy boba. That is key, is knowing how and what to order. There's so many different flavors and options you can mix. My new mixture is Wintermelon Milk Tea or Mango Milk Tea with green tea and the Passion Fruit Popping Boba. the passion fruit popping boba is so funky because pops and is full of passion fruit flavors. Make sure you pick up the larger smoothie style straw otherwise you won't be able to suck them up. It's different and a little expensive, but is a fun treat once in awhile. read more

Thank you for bringing boba close to Provo! Right in the food court of the mall. Sadly prices are a little bit probably due to rent... Overall it was great, boba was well cooked and chewy. I do however wish they used more brown sugar. We had the mango smoothie which was pleasantly mango-y! It was about $6 for our large mango smoothie with boba. We drank it in no time! Super yummy boba! This was one of the first boba shops that showed up around here and a few more have popped up since. This one is my go-to but they're all good in their own ways. Taro is my favorite flavor to order but I've also tried yogurt, brown sugar, mango, winter melon, and classic and they've all been super good! Can't go wrong with any of the flavors. read more

First time experiencing this place in the food court at University Mall. Paid for a small classic boba milk tea that cost $4.60 with tax. At first I was so ecstatic to see a boba stand in the food court! However, I wasn't impressed or thrilled with the quality. The boba was good, it was soft and chewy = it was recently cooked. The taste of the milk tea was a bit watery, and lacking richness in flavor. Coming from California/The Bay Area - this place is subpar compared to the boba places from the South Bay, where tons of ethnic, authentic food come from. Again, this review is specifically for the Classic Boba Milk Tea. If they didn't water down the drink, maybe the quality and richness would be present in the drink. Really great boba in Utah! I've had a lot of boba in Asia (even from carts down some pretty sketchy alleys) and grew up with great boba everywhere in California. This place is pretty good! I've tried the taro smoothie with boba and passion fruit milk tea so far. The boba was really good! Good texture and sweetness. The smoothie was really well blended and creamy. I paid $6 for a small drink and it just wasn't worth the price for me. The boba itself was yummy, but the mango smoothie I got was super watery and over blended. The lid they gave me was nice, until I put the straw in and the plastic piece fell into my drink. Oh and don't worry it's the perfect size to fit through the straw too so of course I soon found it in my mouth chewing on it. Amazing bubble tea! Super yummy, both flavors we had, which were the taro & matcha. Non dairy which is a plus, and you can also get a smoothie version or just tea! The only reason for not 5 stars is that the boba is 50 cents extra, which usually is included at most boba places. They also have other toppings to add in for 50 cents. Also it was a little pricy. The smoothie itself was really smooth and not full of ice chucks like some other places. The quality of the cups were very sturdy as well! The wait was not long at all. The boba is okay... It's tasteless because it's not lathered in honey. Also, the boba had an interesting consistency, like something I would buy from the store; definitely not homemade boba. The tea was alright but honestly nothing special. The berry syrup and cream cheese topping set it apart from other breakfast places. We also had the Classic Breakfast Special, with crispy bacon cut thick to perfection. The interior is one of the most distinctive things about the place. Nearly all the Art Deco furnishings, the booths, mahogany paneling, black glass counter, and light fixtures, were salvaged from Lamb's Grill, a Salt Lake City restaurant that had operated since 1919 before closing in 2017. Eating here feels a bit like dining inside a piece of Utah history. The service is usually excellent, and you can tell they take the motto behind their name seriously: "True service is true religion." This visit, our waitress did seem in a rush to turn the table, but the quality of the food made it easy to overlook. Worth noting: they run a Second Chances charity that supports people in recovery from addiction, those reintegrating into society after incarceration, and folks rebuilding after financial hardship or other life challenges. It's a meaningful mission, and it's part of what makes this place feel different from your average breakfast spot.

We made a reservation for a large group, called to ask if we could arrive early. They said no. Then…read moreright before we got there the manager gave one of our tables to another group. This caused us to have to wait for almost 30 more minutes past our reservation time before we could be seated. Frankly the service by the manager was terrible, she needs to learn how to seat and time large groups. That being said Our waiter was awesome, super nice guy, he was cool, fast, nice. But every time we come here the wait (for those who have reservations) is always super long and usually it takes a while for food to arrive. Food is delicious, love the food. Hot chocolate is awesome too. Always happy with the food!!
