Tear It Up did an outstanding job! I am so pleased with their services and price. I wasn't…read moreexpecting such a reasonable price to remove ceramic tile from 2 bathrooms (around the shower & toilet area), flooring from a full-size kitchen with breakfast nook area, and a connected walk-in pantry. The entire kitchen area and pantry had a stupid subfloor (don't ask me why but it was just there) underneath the laminate tile (compressed fiber board of all things) which raised that whole area up above the rest of the rooms. So the laminate flooring and all of this subflooring underneath had to be removed. The bathrooms had ceramic tile installed in a mud bed. Very hard stuff. Hosea with Tear It Up had his work cut out for him. He did a very excellent job with no damage to the wood surface underneath. Hosea is a quiet guy so you won't even know he's there except for the tools used to do the job. Communication with Tear It Up was awesome and they were on time each day to do the job. It took a day and a half for Hosea to do the work (this surprised the heck out of me). Trust me if it was me doing it with all the proper tools I would just sell the house and start over! Lol. Hosea worked effortlessly and cleaned up as he worked. Afterwards I heard him just sweeping, vaccuming, and cleaning up... For a moment I thought he was going to do the dishes! Hosea you could have, I wouldn't have mind. I know this is a long review but I am very happy with Tear It Up! And I like the name... They get the job done right. I only paid $900 for all that work!!! I was expecting much more. They don't surprise you with additional charges after the job is done. What you're quoted for is exactly what you will pay. They take payments via, CashApp, PayPal, credit/debit, or even cash. For all your floor removal needs here in the Columbia SC area, call Tear It UP! And just maybe Hosea will do your dishes...

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! I hired Floor Pro to perform a…read moredeep cleaning on my hardwood floors. The service was contracted with the understanding that the work would involve only a steam/deep cleaning and no resurfacing or sanding. The agreed-upon price for this service was $450, which I considered reasonable given the scope of the job. Unfortunately, the quality of the work was severely deficient. Upon completion, the floors appeared incomplete, with visible damage in multiple areas. Specifically, the protective coating was stripped away in patches, and there are at least four sections where the wood itself has been excessively abraded or sanded, resulting in exposed flakes, splinters, and uneven surfaces. In contrast, other portions of the floor showed no evidence of having been cleaned at all. I contacted Floor Pro to inspect the damage and requested a resolution. In response, they proposed to repair the issues by buffing and sealing the entire downstairs floor at a discounted rate of $6,200. This offer raises serious concerns about their business practices, as it appears to escalate a simple cleaning job into a far more extensive and costly repair. I cannot help but question whether the initial damage was intentional, designed to coerce customers into additional, higher-priced services. This experience has left me with damaged floors and a significant loss of trust in the company. I am available to provide any additional details, including photos of the damage, upon request.

He assessed our job, gave us a fair price, got the materials needed and got to work. The floding doors were removed, the old flooring was removed, the area cleaned and new linoleum installed under an hour. He worked hard and fast The results were fantastic! This was a small area, the laundry room, he removed the washing machine and dryer very carefully, then scrapped up all the old flooring, cut and installed linoleum we had left over from a previous job, then returned the washing machine and dryer back into place and hooked them up. All the time, he remained very professional and friendly. I will certainly call him for future jobs. If I could give him 10 stars, I certainly would.

He gave excuses for three months of why he couldn't make it. He finally came at 10pm and said he ordered the wrong pads and asked FOR MORE MONEY! I told him no and he lost it. He became aggressive and accused me of accusing him of trying to get over. I paid nearly $800 for him to never lay my pads or carpet. He evidently said, "I owe him mileage!" $800 for mileage. I advise everyone to run. I do not recommend his services. Very unprofessional.
