I called them twice and left a voicemail describing the plumbing problem at our house. I left my name and phone number and asked them to call me back, but no one ever reached out, even after several days. They completely ignored my request. If I can't even get them to return my call when I'm trying to give them business, I can't imagine how they would respond if I were calling about a problem after they had completed the work. I used him before and it was great. This time I had a root in my exterior plumbing. Bobby T didn't have the right tools. He has no camera and only poked a hole in the root. My back up came back a month later and then he told me to call a plumber with a hydro thing. Bobby had charged e $1k to poke a small hole in the tree root. I let him know that I was disappointed that he accepted the job and the $1k and he really didn't own the right tools. He was extremely defensive and told me off . No refunds of course. The other plumber took care of the problem for a second $1k. This plumber should t be taking exterior plumbing jobs. read more

I'm not sure how I've gone this long without leaving a review for Bobby T's - this review is well overdue. We've had Bobby at our home on numerous occasions, ranging from slow draining bathtubs to installing fixtures to replacing shutoff valves and hose bibs. I have nothing but positive feedback to share. He's responsive, professional, clean, and resonantly prices. He doesn't try to upsell with unnecessary work and he is happy to explain any issues he finds. He also guarantees his work. Today, I called Bobby about a majorly clogged toilet that no amount of plunging would unclog. I must start with "Bobby T has been in business since early 2007 (I took the time to look him up on https://fortress.wa.gov/dol/bpdlicensequery/. You'd be impressed! Bobby is a likable/self-assured character (& I emphasize Character), anddd,,, he certainly seems knows the plumbing business". So you know where I am coming from "I'm currently retired from being successfully self-employed running/operating a very busy auto repair shop from 1968 thru 1982 (in those days we used to rebuild engines from scratch). I then move on to own & operate a very successful "One Man" Computer I.T. business from 1983 to then retire in 2014. Bobby reminds me of my 31-year trajectory of being in a small service business where you wind up understanding who you are, your capacities, and what it takes to make a good living and be able to keep your clients & yourself happy. The job I had for Bobby consisted of putting him under my addition in a crawl space, on a soft cold dirt floor. The job was not very big, but It was definitely complex & what I would call "Tweaky". Bobby looked at me & said "I do charge extra for a job that requires going into a crawlspace, after which, he gave me a breakdown of his rates along with an appx. cost for a worst-case scenario should we have to go there,,, and then asked me for verbal approval. At that point I had a great deal of respect for his self-esteem, of which I can see is most assuredly connected to his skill base. I looked at him & said, "Great, go for it". He & his helper wrapped it up in less than 3 hours and when he went to hand me the invoice he said "you should know on a scale of 1-10 your crawl space as a 10, and I'm not going to charge you the additional crawlspace fee (and yes, I did thank him). What I have left to say is I've been looking for a plumber like him a whole lot of years. Bobby is a high self-esteem small business person/Plumber who understands if he were to sell price in place of his knowledge, skill, & experiences his chances of longevity in business would not be great, and he would never be totally happy continually shortchanging himself. One of the things that tipped me off about him was that he happens to mention "he NEVER does business with "Contractors". I have used Bobby's services a few times now. Each time he has been professional, efficient and effective. 1st - I was having our crawl space gone through by Clean Crawls. They noticed that my water main, coming into the house, had a slow leak coming in around it. I found Bobby T's here on yelp. Read the reviews and called him. He walked onto the property and as I was explaining the situation he cut me off "Your main shut off valve is leaking. Look there. Look at how your grass is greener right there..." He was right. He said it was common for the age of our house. He installed a new shut off valve along with a nice access panel for it. Great. 2nd - Our MA Shower was draining slowly. He came and cut out the old P trap and installed a new one. Great. 3rd - In selling our home, we had Seattle Sewer Inspection come out and they found a root obstruction close to the main. Far away from the house. Fritz drain service couldn't get to it because of the distance and informed me that I needed to install a clean out (access point). I called Bobby. He told me what to do to prep the area and how much room he needed in the hole. I saved money by having some laborers from Casa Latina dig the hole vs. Bobby. He installed the clean out, Fritz Drain service came back out and successfully cleared the Root and Seattle Sewer Inspection confirmed it was done well. Great. 4th - The City of Shoreline upped the water pressure to pump the water further... this blew our the expansion valve in my water heater as well as started a leak in the wall behind the shower valve. I called Bobby to help with the shower. We isolated the problem to the tub spout which had not been plumbed well. The solder was bad and came off in my hand and the joint was not secured properly. Bobby prepped me on parts I could do myself, like cutting the access area. He built up area and installed a new mounting point that wouldn't have future problems. He thoroughly checked the shower valve and everything else to make sure we had fixed the problem. After Atlantic Tile & Marble fixed the tile, he came back out and helped with some trim out and to double check that everything was tight and dry. GREAT. I would highly recommend Bobby T's work and I will be calling again when his services are needed. read more

My kitchen drain was blocked. I ran a snake down the drain - twice - but still could not clear the clog. I contacted a couple of plumbers from Angie's list, and Bob worked me into his schedule for early evening - no doubt a long day for him. He set up his power snake equipment and worked through the clog. That did the trick! He double-checked for leaks and that the drain was clear. No one wants to deal with a plumbing problem in their home especially if its sewer related. What a true professional, Bobby T responded to my initial phone call timely, was on site when he said he would be, accessed my problems and told me the good and the bad with absolute sincerity. Rather than just fixing the immediate problem, he made suggestions which will make it easier in the future - here in Shoreline there are a lot of trees and root issues in the main line are going to happen so he suggested we install a clean out drain for easier access (vs pulling up the toilet every time). I thought for sure the job would have to be postponed when I got up and saw the torrential rain storm that showed up overnight -I'm not talking about a typical Seattle rain storm - I'm talking windshield wipers on high, streets flooding kind of rain storm. But no he was there and ready to get the job done as promised. Rather than just trampling the garden, he removed only what had to - even replanted one plant that was initially removed. While there he checked for any other issues, fixed a bath tub drain problem I didn't even know I had, change the aerators on all the faucets giving me back what I thought was lack of water pressure.
