I bought a trailer Dec 5, 2019 it was a brand new 2020 Forest River XLite 19 foot. The sales people were great to work with I worked with Carlos who doesn't work there anymore and Buzz the Sales manager. I must have looked for 1 to 2 years all over California trying to find the right trailer for me and decide If I was gonna get one. It rained for a couple days in April so I decided to go in and check to see if I had any leaks when I dropped the Murphy bed it was soaked. The right fender well was also cut up and never secured correctly but they said they could fix that later when they got one ordered in. I had to wait til June 10 to take it in due to covid-19 when the shop opened back up. I stopped in July 11 to pick it back up after I called in to see if it was ready for pick up since I was Never notified by the service department that it was all fixed. The fender well was never replaced they just secured it to the trailer which left a hole for water and dirt to get in and up into my dinette bench area. They said the screw had fallen out and that is why the fender was the way it was even though it hung down like 1 inch on the front side. Plus they said they could not duplicate the water leak on the Murphy bed but had resealed everything. The top where the roof meets the cap was resealed completely but the rest looked old still. So I talked to one of the mechanics and told them direct that I wanted it replaced he said ok no problem and told them how to check for the leak. I guess the service writers don't communicate with the mechanics. I finally got to pick it up on July 28 after I had to call in Again and ask hey is my trailer ready have all the repairs been done. They said the fender was replaced but the leak in the roof was not found. I took it home and sprayed the roof with my garden hose for 15 to 20 minutes and the Murphy bed was soaked with water again. So I took it back to the service department Aug 8 and marked the area where the leak was coming from on the inside of the trailer in front of the Murphy bed. When they did the leak checks they kept opening up the cupboards on either side of the bed and looking in there even though I told them there was no leaks in there. I went in Sept 10 after calling again to see if it was repaired and again they said no leaks where found. So I went in and sprayed the trailer down for 15 to 20 minutes and showed them where it should be leaking from but I was surprised that it had no leaks this time. They were not sure if anything was resealed because the kid that worked on it was not there at the time. I told them I'd call in Fri or Sat to let them know when I would be picking it up. I called at 11:30 on Sat and said I would be there in about 1 to 1.5 hours to pick it up the guy behind the service counter said ok no problem it would be on the street waiting for me to hook into. I got there at 1:30 and it was still in the back of the lot behind a big fifth wheel trailer. The service manager had to pull it out himself and park it on the street. So I went inside to get my service records and surprise surprise no one was behind the counter. Finally the short kid not sure what his name is that works behind the counter in the service department came walking in with his lunch from McDonalds and walked right in front me saying nothing and wouldn't even look at me. I'm guessing he put it in their break room came back out behind the counter got his phone charger and walked to the break room again not making eye contact or asking if I was being helped. He is a BIG POS and I am going to talk to the owner about him. I have worked several jobs and have been several places that if the customer needs help you help them and eat when you can. Or say hey is it ok if I eat while I am helping you? Oh and when I went to hook into my trailer I couldn't because my battery was dead and the electric jack would not go up at all and was like 1 foot off the ground. That was after I got the guys to move out of the way since they had a forklift and another trailer right in front of mine and I was unable to hook into it. The service manager said they would just replace the battery but apparently did not pass it on to the mechanics because when I went out they were walking all around my trailer asking if I had a kill switch for the battery. Ah you figure these guys work on these trailers all the time and should know where the stuff is but I guess not. I told told them no mine does not have a kill switch which is Usually right behind the battery on the trailer frame. So they Finally replaced the battery and the one mechanic told the other one to check to see if it worked. He turned on the On/Off switch that works the jacks light for some reason and then extended it some saying it was good. If I could go back I would NOT buy a trailer from here just because of the crappy service department. The experienced mechanic that was supposed to work on my trailer and check for the leak never did. read more

Good afternoon. Approximately one week ago I finally pulled the trigger on buying a trailer. I had been looking all over this South Bay for a used trailer! Of course everyone wants the trailer that they buy to be in immaculate condition sturdy functional no damage and to be able to use it right away without putting in extra money time and effort just to get it on the road. I looked on several sites to find a used trailer and I drove everywhere only to be discouraged and disheartened because what the ad stated didn't match the photos and it didn't allow me to do the things that I mentioned in the paragraph above ! In till I went on craigslist and I saw one clean trailer after another posted by JESSICA who works at Bobby Waynes. I text her my questions and she got back to me within 1 to 5 minutes! I asked her if she had several used trailers for sale and she replied yes bunches here at Bobby Waynes in Lancaster. I set an appointment to meet JESSICA on Saturday 20 October at noon! I was not too keen and drive 80 miles to a dealership but instead I wanted to do it through a private party for multiple reasons. When I walked onto the grounds of Bobby Waynes I immediately saw several hundred RV and trailers for sale! I was met by a sales person who asked me if they could help me and were courteous and friendly. I replied that I had an appointment with JESSICA at noon and they got a hold of her and although she was with another customer, she shared that she would be with me in a couple of minutes! I am sure I'm not the only one who doesn't like sales people who are pushy or abrupt just so that they can make a sale. Well that wasn't the case here with JESSICA Her and I had spoke on the phone along with texting that week and so she knew the units that I wanted to look at and casually struck up a conversation about my day and how was my drive and genuinely cared for me as a person! She definitely made my heart feel at ease since as I shared before I don't like pushy salespeople JESSICA had all of the units that I was interested in open and ready for me to walk in and ask questions and answer any and all of my concerns. She explain to me the differences of the different sizes of trailers, gross weight plumbing, electrical stabilizers for the trailer, size of ball hitch needed, restrooms, slide outs and basically all of the amenities of the trailers! GUESS WHAT? I WASN'T DISAPPOINTED WITH THE SELECTION AND HOW WELL KEPT AND THE CLEANLINESS OF THEIR UNITS ! And .......... she wasn't pushy and in fact she is totally down to earth, easy to talk with, paid attention to detail and answered all my questions ! I spent some 40 active duty years in the military as both enlisted and an officer! I retired in 2014 as a lieutenant colonel. Whenever I had to write what we call fit reps or performance reports on how my personnel were performing in their jobs, I always used character qualities to describe their work! So in looking at the great character qualities that JESSICA possesses I can see why she was well liked by other sales people and spoken highly of by her manager! She has been there for 2 years and several months has been the top sales person! When you go looking for an RV or trailer at Bobby Waynes make sure that JESSICA is your sales person and here are the positive character qualities that I noted in her! 1. ENTHUSIASM vs Apathy - JESSICA expressed joy in her company, their products and gave it her best effort! 2. ATTENTIVENESS vs Unconcern - JESSICA showed the worth of a person (me and YOU when you meet her) by giving them her undivided concentration! 3. THOROUGHNESS vs Incompleteness - knowing what factors will diminish the effectiveness of her work or words if neglected! 4. TRUTHFULNESS vs Deception- JESSICA earns future trust by accurately reporting past facts about your new RV or trailer! Going in to combat , going to your job/work, spending time in our relationships takes effort on all of us! So yes if you made it through this whole post I hope that when you are in the market for a RV, car, a home, or, relationships with everyone around you, that we would have character that counts! We were in the market for an RV Trailer, but were not going to buy at this time. We had been researching and knew what we wanted and the amount we wanted to pay. We had seen the RV's presented at the Credit Union in Ridgecrest on the weekend. So we stopped in and did not see exactly what we were looking for. The sales representative for Bobby Wayne's V, Jessica G, came over and was very helpful. She was not pushy at all which was refreshing. She asked us what we were looking for and actually listened. She checked stock at the dealership in Lancaster for one she thought would fit us perfectly, size, length, weight and features that we wanted. They had it in stock and she confirmed she would get us the details and pictures the following Monday. On Monday as she had promised, she sent emails with the pictures and details and she also answered all our questions. She gave us the advertised price listed. We conversed about the price and we gave her ballpark figures of what we were willing to pay. She could not give us their best price until we came down to look at the RV. We set up a day to drive down to look at it. We had wanted to see it in person and the pictures did not do it justice, it was exactly what we had been looking for. So when we decided to try to purchase the RV, we went inside to see what the best price was. So Jessica asked us a few questions and went back to talk the sales manager I believe. So when he came out to talk to us it was like, right to the point. He gave us his lowest price they were willing to take. It was towards the lower end of retail and way below the loan value. We were smiling inside. I asked how long the price was good for and he said for the day. We told him we needed to think it over and left the office and went out to the lot to look around and talk. We agreed to buy it and went back in and did the purchase agreement. They were more than fair, there was no haggling, and they were happy and so are we. If only all purchases were this easy. They performed the PDI and we picked up our RV, the next weekend. Bruce, was very knowledgeable and had the RV ready, we signed the paperwork with Justin the finance guy and gave them the check. Meanwhile our sales Rep Jessica came down to the lot, and checked on us, she stayed for a while to see if we needed anything. Bruce went over the operation of all the equipment and features, while he had one of his Tech's finish connecting the torsion bars and sway control for the WDHitch. We drove away with smiles on our faces. I have to say for our first purchase of an RV, or anything major, it went extremely well. I owe that to Jessica, Corky, Justin, Bruce, and his technician. I bought a travel trailer from Bobby Wayne's about a month ago. they get you all pumped up when they sell you the RV how great their service is. I made the FATAL mistake of giving them a 5-star review when I first bought my travel trailer but I have to tell everybody how TERRIBLE the customer service iS. The service department manager JOHN is the rudest, smart-ass ! when you go in to have your RV repaired the service department never answers their phone we literally have to drive over there to find out any information about our RV. Also we request a phone call to find out when are RV will be ready and or repair status. Of course no phone call. I drove over there this morning to find out from JOHN the service manager WHO WAS KICKING BACK IN HIS CHAIR WITH HIS FEET UP BSING WITH ANOTHER EMPLOYEE AND THE PHNE IS RIGHT NEXT TO HIM AND U HAD CALLED 3 TIMES IN A ROW, NO ANSWER! WHY CANT HE ANSWER AND TAKE CARE IF CUSTOMER'S?? then he got really smart with me and kept arguing with me stating that i didnt request a phone call! I asked to have the owners and or manager ALICIA call me, he stated they dont want to talk to you! When i asked why he desnt answer tje phone for customers he asked me do you answer your phone all the time?? Really?? I told him I don't run a business!! I had some words to say to him! JOHN followed me out to my car and told me to get my f---ing trailer off the lot or I would be paying storage fees on my brand new RV that I just bought that had problems from day one! I do have to continue to praise my salesman Carlos who was wonderful and very caring.He was present when JOHN stormed into the parking lot after me which was very embarrassing for meI i also praise Dennis in service , hes a great guy who worked his butt off to fix my RV. I say beware to anybody that wants to do business with BOBBY WAYNES. The absolute worst experience !!. Do yourself a favor do not give this company any of your business. The sales manager Corky is also worthless, funny when I went to talk to him he didn't even lift his head to acknowledge me, he acted like he didn't remember me. he was too busy kicking back under an RV awning and said he would have someone call me lol never happened! read more

I just purchased a 2015 Puma by Palamino Fifth Wheel from Bobby Wayne's. We have been searching for an RV for about 2-3 months when I found Bobby Wayne's on a search engine. I have to admit, I was very skeptical being that it was all the way in Lancaster, but they have an excessive amount of inventory, are not pushy at all (didn't even ask for my info or anything about me before showing me around what they had). Our salesperson, Jerome was extremely knowledgeable, kind and took all the time in the world with us as if we were the only customers there (they have other staff for the others who were there, so don't let that make you think they were ignored). The next realm of people I dealt with was Corky and Justin in Finance. They had so much patience with me, explained everything, re-worked the numbers several times until we were all happy. I was able to complete everything over the phone with Justin so when I went to pick up the rig, the signing of the paperwork was effortless and easy. The next two individuals I met were in the Service Center. Richard was very knowledgeable in the fifth wheel as he did the full, thorough walk-through and covered every moving part and every nook and cranny. The rig was completely set up and ready for camping as I left the service center. The service guys even coached my husband on how to maneuver the thing once it was all hooked up. This place really and truly takes care of you and cares about you and your happiness. They are not out to just sell the unit to you and then bid you farewell. STAY AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS SERVICE DEPARTMENT AS POSSIBLE! I bought my trailer at Bobby waynes about 3 years ago, got a decent deal and the sales staff was pretty good. I opted for the extended warranty that included a 5 year no fade coating on the outside..fast forward 1 year and my trailer was fading so I took it in and they supposedly recoated it. Fast forward another 1.5 years, totally faded again so I called and they informed me that they have been having problems with that coating and will re coat it with a new product. So I make a appointment and take it in 1.5 months later they call and tell me the recoated the front and the one side that faded the worst, so basically I would have gotten back a trailer with 1/2 the new product and 1/2 the old product that they know if garbage. I told them that doesn't work for me and they need to coat the entire trailer. Another 1.5 months go by and they call me and tell me it's ready for pickup ( yes after 3 months) so I drive 2 hours to pick it up and guess what..they did nothing to the side that was faded the most it actually looked worse then when I dropped it off, they completely ruined my batteries( they are at 8 volts now) they left my vents open so by beds are covered in dirt and water stains from rain, my fuel station door was open and unlocked and all my fuel was gone. Long story short I demanded my money back for the extended warranty and I'll have to just take my trailer to someone that is actually qualified. This place is a complete joke trust me. read more

I had the best experience at Bobby Wayne's!! I have been in the market to get a toy hauler, I knew a model that was made by Genesis and is under a couple other names. As you can tell I like red, so I was trying to find a red toy hauler if possible. Genesis makes a blazen which a dealer in Moreno Vally Marjov Rv can only get. I tried to go to them and that was the worst decision of my life!! Wasted my time and gas saying they will do a payment we agreed on, they had it all written up and printed out and signed that it was a done deal. NOPE!! Called next day and said they can't do it, so went to get my deposit back. Saw that Bobby Wayne had this powerlite which is also red and by Genesis. Kurt was my salesman, and man does he blow customer service out of the water!! We really sat there and made sure everything was fine, that my toy would fit in the trailer without any problems!! Went and talked numbers, got to a number where I liked. THEY STUCK WITH THE OFFER!! Worked with me beyond what anyone would want from a dealer. They took care of me and my family, did a walk thru when picking it up showing everything is working as it should and it is ready to go! My husband and I went out to Bobby Waynes from Santa Clarita to look at a Forest River MicroLite we had read about online in March, 2019. I had spoken to Ricardo on the phone before we went to look. When we got there Ricardo greeted us and told us that because he was losing his voice he and his colleague Tyler would be showing us whatever we wanted to look at. Well, we had the MOST pleasant and helpful service from Ricardo and Tyler we have ever experienced at any vehicle dealer. We could not possibly be more pleased with the expertise and polite, helpful manner of these two excellent sales people. We came back a second time to look at the MicroLite and then left to go home and think about it. There was absolutely no pressure, only perfect service and the attitude that they were there to help us find the best travel trailer for us! We still have not purchased our trailer but when we do we have every confidence that the experience will be as satisfactory as the selling process. They contacted us a few times by email only to ask if there was anything they could do to help, and they were there to answer any questions we might have; it turned out we had tons of questions, and every one was answered politely and thoroughly. My fiance and I just recently purchased a brand new fifth wheel from Bobby Waynes, and we were very happy with the service. We experienced some problems with financing, but throughout the entire ordeal, the whole team tried very hard to make it a positive experience for us, and we could not be more grateful. Special thanks to Fernanda, our wonderfully caring and exceedingly patient sales rep who walked us through so many fifth wheels and never complained about our indecision after our first choice fell through, and to the amazing and tirelessly hardworking Justin in finance, who went above and beyond to make it all happen. On one Saturday afternoon, my husband and I were getting our travel trailer ready for a camping trip. I was devastated to find a broken bathroom lid on the roof. My husband was worried about getting it fixed on such short notice before our trip. He immediately went on line and found Bobby Waynes RV and called. He was told that if we brought the trailer in by 5pm, they could fix it for us. It was 2:15pm; we had plenty of time. Long story short, we brought our trailer in around 3:15pm. The parking lot was full; my husband just stopped in the middle of the street. I ran in and spoke with Dennis and "Jo". Dennis came out to the trailer and told us not to worry. They would take care of us right there; we didn't have to move the trailer. We got a new lid and a protective cover for a great price!! They were super awesome!! Two guys were on the roof of our trailer fixing it right in the street!!! It only took them about 30 minutes to install everything. For years, my wife and I passed this dealership on almost a daily basis. More times than I can count, I said "I want to buy one of those someday." Well, someday has arrived. We went to the lot just to look around on a very cold, windy day. A salesman named Steve approached us and began showing us what they had based on what we told him we were looking for. He showed us at least 10 models of travel trailers before we narrowed it down to 2, then selected the one we ultimately bought. It's perfect for our needs and towing capability. Then, we moved on down to the other lot and became acquainted with Joey, Buzz, Bill, Dustin and Mike, plus several others that my feeble old mind can't recall their names. These folks are really great to work with. We discussed financing, service, options, as well as the time we needed to work out some kinks we had regarding getting a hitch installed on my pickup truck. As a general rule, I am not a fan of salesmen. Thus, when my wife and I walked into Bobby Waynes we tried to blend into the background and go unnoticed by the staff. We'd done my homework. We pretty much knew what we wanted. We just wanted to confirm/deny our research. So when the salesmen noticed and approached us I internally groaned and resigned myself to the unpleasantness that is a hard sell.... ...But we didn't get a hard sell. When the salesman asked us if we needed help, I stated that we didn't, and that we was just looking. To my utter shock he simply said, "If you have any questions, I'll be over here...." Eventually, we did have some questions and he answered them to our satisfaction and we bought a new travel trailer before the hour was up. A salesman that simply makes himself available to answer questions without being pushy? Unheard of! That same salesman actually being knowledgeable? Crazy! No complaints. I visited Bobby Wayne's RV to find out if they could wire my vehicle so I could power the lights on my 4 x 8 utility trailer. I was immediately helped by Joseph in the parts & service department. I told him I didn't think my vehicle was wired to connect to my trailer and so I wanted to get a price on either ordering the parts needed or having them do all the work for me. He asked if he could take a look at my car. After about 15 seconds of searching he found a connection underneath the back of my car that will plug into my trailer. I've had my car for 3 years. I never even knew I had the connection already in place! I've been using my trailer for the last couple years but only during the day because I never had lights connected. I really appreciate Joseph's help and professional service. A while back I need new wheel bearings for my trailer and they ordered them promptly and at a much lower price than I expected. The salesman Gets NO STARS!!!! You DO NOT!! want a salesman that blows with the wind. Not only did the salesman lie several times and flip flop, He basically bragged about backing the Blue and being an honorable man, NONE OF THAT WAS TRUE. He straight said "I PROMISE IT'S YOURS, I WONT SELL IT UNTIL I HEAR FROM YOU" I asked for ONE DAY to get what I needed from my bank which was a better interest rate than he offered. After running around I returned as I said ready to do the deal. While sitting in his office, He started trying to sell me something else. RED FLAG! I asked if he sold my RV He said yes. then told me he would give me a killer deal on one of the Junk Class A's on his lot. If this is how Bobby Wayne's Salesmen do business, I suggest you don't do business with them. And to all my brothers and Sisters in blue... So I have been thinking how to write this review my husband and I came in there last week to ask about some parts and we spoke to the gentleman with all the tattoos well before I get into this let's just say the 1 star is not for him he deserves the 5 stars the one star is for the service manager while the gentleman with all the tattoos I believe his name was dennis he was helping us and 4 other people out and the so called service manger was just sitting there watching tv while dennis was running around helping everyone in the parts department as well as went out and helped someone dropping off there rv for service not one time did he ask to help out . Very pleased with the service we received at Bobby Wayne's RV in Lancaster. I cannot say enough positive things about the associate- Ethan, who helped us find the right travel trailer for our family. He really listened to what we wanted and gave great advice. Beyond that he treated our family like his own interacting with our kids and going to bat for us to secure the travel trailer that we really wanted. If that wasn't enough when we moved to the finance side of the business- Justin, followed through with the same great service. Again, we encountered a person who really listened to our family and needs. He looked into the best financial plan he could secure for us. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!We bought a travel trailer from Bobby Wayne's and what a nightmare experience that was. For one it's falling apart!! Also the sales manager CORKY is a sarcastic rude man. The service department absolutely sucks .!!!our trailer sits on the lot for weeks at a time when is fact we found out from corporate that it's only a 24-hour turnaround time to get authorization to get your service work done. Justin who left the five star review under mine is the brother of the owner. Do you think they're having their own people write reviews to drive down the bad reviews so people can't see them?? We are so excited to finally purchase a trailer. We wanted to stay local and I have to say the Bobby Waynes Rv was excellent to work with and gave is a great deal. our salesman Carlos was very friendly and knowledgeable. Corky the manager was great to work with also, although we did beat him up a little. The service dept above and beyond to get our vehicle equipped with the sway bars by staying after hours to get us out. Thanks to Brian and Barry for that. We had a slight issue with our slide and we brought it in lasting tell before our first trip and their service dept was on it ! Dennis made it possible for us to get the part ASAP and get is on the road. That's another great benefit to buying locally you're taken care of ASAP as a valued customer. read more
