The delivery was spot on time, gave me a call 15 minutes out. I live in a very old house with narrow doorways and steep steps. Jack and Ray delivered these appliances after many measurements, without any complaints as to the difficulty. Took off my doors with great care and hauled these heavy appliances up my narrow back steps weaving around a railing where there was not 1/4 inch to spare. They took care and time with all aspects, from Jack showing me tips of how to use the induction range to Ray making sure I was careful about putting frozen food into the freezer before it was at the temperature required. While the sales staff and installation teams were both friendly and knowledgeable, we have now had the worst customer service experience I've had in decades. Fair warning! In less than 5 weeks, a knob broke on the range making the burner inoperable. It's now been over 7 weeks since we reported it and we are yet to get it fixed. In the interim, another knob has broken. We are out $6k and the customer service team could honestly care less. Their communication has been basically nonexistent and the two times we've had to call to follow up, the sales rep was incredibly rude, interrupting me constantly and passing the buck on down the line to anyone she could think of- throwing her sales team under the bus, blaming Bertazzoni, and basically telling us that neither she nor Bouchard-Pierce were remotely responsible. I run a global customer success and services team and if any of my colleagues treated a customer the way we've been treated, they'd be terminated immediately. While I understand that there are constraints in any system, I know what decent customer service looks like and this is NOT IT. I hate that I can't recommend these folks because I am a very loyal local business supporter but this has been a truly terrible experience.

All the work looked to be of the highest quality. Unfortunately, the boiler had issues and needed to be replaced recently. Vermont Energy was extremely customer oriented and the new system was installed at lightning speed. Four techs showed up and had the new boiler and hot water storage tank installed in one day. Even though the original boiler failed prematurely I am very pleased with the service provided me to make things right. All of the technicians were sharp pencils willing to go the extra mile. RVG quotes are fair and accurate, usually coming in even under the estimated amount. The first project was to get a variety of small things done, troubleshoot solar/PowerWall/UPS issues, and install a new meter box, because water and repetitive pulling had damaged it. Rick took care of arranging for the utility to assist with a disconnect, ran a new line from the eve, replaced the meter box, ran some new circuits, and determined why they PowerWall was tripping the UPSs. Later, during the pandemic, an RVG installer came by, with COVID19 precautions, and installed some new light switches, and a ceiling fan for me. Rick also did troubleshooting on a radiant floor heating system. Most recently, the team was back again, installing a new circuit for an EV Level 2 charger, hardwired that, and installed a dedicated circuit for my electric wood splitter. They gutted the existing lighting in the garage, and replaced the hodge podge of fixtures with bright, efficient, LED shop lights. I sleep better knowing RVG Electrical has properly done the wiring and that it was all done right.
