This spot has a few built-in kiosk ordering screens which makes it easy to order, though there isn't a service/human element to the ordering process. Sometimes the screen can be a bit wonky, but I like that you can see the drinks and doughnuts photos visually before ordering. You can get a variety of boba drinks here, as well as mochi doughnuts. I love both the authentic Asian drink and American style beverages, so I'm usually pretty good at discovering the good stuff - but I have to say, this boba coffee I got today is disappointing. I ordered an Iced Vietnamese Coffee with Egg Custard topping and boba (extra $1 for the boba), which is almost $9 in total. The drink I actually received has no egg custard creamy topping, no boba, just a plain coffee - nothing like what was advertised on the menu (see picture attached). I appreciate a fun new donut shop that has great decorations, however, there were a few things that I did not appreciate. First off, you are encouraged to order through a kiosk. Sure, I can do that but the menu was confusing. It wouldn't allow you to order a single donut. So I asked the girl that serves the donuts if I could please order through her instead. She gave me a strange look and said, "sure." I immediately felt I should try again at the kiosk vs bother her. She told me we have to order a box of 3, minimum. So I did through the kiosk and what's interesting is that they ask you to tip....a kiosk. What? Did I mention that 3 donuts are around $8? After you order your box, they call your name and you go and pick your donuts. We picked the powdered sugar one, champagne (with paper butterflies....), and strawberry white chocolate. The powdered one was stale and had zero flavor, it was like eating bread (so weird considering it's covered in powdered sugar). The other two were good! I like how chewy they were. I do wish they had a daily chocolate option. All in all, we sadly won't be returning. It's not worth the hype. read more

It's a very pleasant texture. I like that you can easily break off pieces to share, but let's be honest, you'll want to eat the whole thing. The bad: - you have to buy a 3-donut minimum - donut flavor is primarily in the icing. Would love it to be flavored throughout the dough - there are only two digital ordering kiosks. I should preface this review by saying that we went on the first day of Chinese New Year celebrations and the place was packed. Every establishment in the Asia Mall had very long lines that appeared to be related to the holiday. The mouth-watering donuts are the perfect, chewy consistency. You purchase a pack of six, they call your name and you select which six go into your box. We got taro, black sesame, strawberry shortcake, cookies and cream, fruity pebble and funnel cake. I'd rank them in that order I listed them in from best to worst. The funnel cake was the only one that didn't have an icing because it was coated in powdered sugar which I didn't like as much. My black sesame in particular was slightly dry on the outside but a great flavor. I would've also liked to try the salted caramel and fortune cookie flavors. Maybe next time! I wish they had a separate line for people only ordering donuts because the line moved very slowly around people ordering beverages.
