I didn't expect to make a purchase, but I was nearby and they did have an item that fit the bill at the right price. Customer service was fine at the store. Now the delivery! The item I purchased was to be delivered to an assisted living facility. I rec'd a text as promised with a delivery window...630am -1130 am. A little early, but Id rather that than the opposite. So, I go to the facility at 630 and waited in my car in the dark in a torrential rain storm. At 8am, I decided to go inside and wait. Then at about 830, I get a text saying my delivery was to be between 4-7 pm. WHAT???? So, now I have to wait until 10am to call customer service. While the first gentleman was polite, he couldn't do much for me, so he transferred me to a spvsr...STEVEN from Corporate. Not only was Steven unsympathetic to me wasting several hours of my day, he had charm of a street thug. I asked for my delivery charge to be refunded for my inconvenience due to their error. Nope, no refund cause the item will be delivered...last of the day! Oh, and he told me you better answer you phone when they call or they won't deliver it. " I better answer my phone?" This is a joke of a company. I wasted my whole day waiting around for my bed to be delivered and nobody came. Instead they sent the bed the day before. No communication between team members, the warehouse, or ME the CUSTOMER. Nobody called me to let me know that the bed indeed won't be delivered today. I had to call them to ask where my delivery was. I've spoken to four customer representatives and 2 associates to try to get my bed delivered today despite the huge inconvenience. Four stars for the showroom experience. One star to the delivery system. So I needed a new headboard. Mine was pretty awful. I walked into Bob's, was handed off to Tony who showed me some options and I quickly chose a nice one that fit my budget. Super easy. I then spent some time chatting with the store manager while the printer situation was sorted out -- they were having some technical difficulties and it took longer than it apparently usually would to check me out. I was moving and I requested delivery before May 30. Upon purchase, I was given the date of May 29. Perfect! I was told I'd get a call the day before with a three-hour delivery time window. Since I couldn't take the day off from work and they couldn't accommodate an after 6 p.m. delivery, my mom graciously offered to stand in for me during that time. I got an automated call the day before saying that Bob's delivery team would be arriving between "10:51 a.m. and 1:51 p.m." Uh, k. Weird times, but whatever you say. I relayed that to my mother. Later in the day, I received another automated call, that my delivery times had been "updated" to "12:31 p.m. to 3:31 p.m." Okay, then. I relayed that to my mother. On May 29, she arrived by 12:30 to my apartment to wait. And there she waited -- past 3:31. Past 5:31, for that matter. Heck, she didn't need to be there at all -- wasting her entire afternoon! Turns out, I was home from work by the time the delivery team got there! They offered up a "sorry," which was grand, but what would've been nicer? if they had comped that $39 delivery fee. That would've been nice. But they didn't. In all, I'd go back to Bob's, but I'd be weary about making bigger purchases there unless I had a full day to kill lounging around at home waiting for their delivery truck. I do not recommend purchasing furniture for your home from any Bobs location. The staff at this location is very friendly and helpful, but my review is in regards to the multiple quality defects. Originally I was scheduled for 2 separate deliveries to complete my order. I am now scheduling my 6th delivery to replace a defective 5 drawer chest for the 2nd time. All pieces that were and still are defective below: 1. 6 drawer w/ mirror had a crack in the middle on the center support. Replaced once. 2. Nightstand had a large crack on the drawer. Replaced once. 3. 5 drawer chest had a large chunk broken off at the base. The replacement looked good until I spotted a small crack at the top. Hopefully 3rd time is the charm. After inspecting the furniture, most of the material used is particle board. Time will tell if the structural integrity will hold. I will be demanding some sort of compensation for this inconvenience. read more

Our delivery came today and the men that set it up were so nice and so polite! They got here way faster than we thought which is awesome. They made sure to ask where we wanted our bed and didn't leave any mess. Super nice guys and did an amazing job! The salesman at the store was amazing too! The couch my daughter purchased arrived 4 hours late (past the loading dock hours she had reserved for apartment building) and the delivery people did not know how to assemble the couch and created a real mess in the apartment. Delivery took for ever and couch still wasn't assembled. It also had a stain on the back. The worst part is that they damaged (put a huge gouge) in her flooring which the apartment complex is holding her accountable for financially. Customer service is basically non-existent. No way to contact the store and talk with sales person. They did deliver a new couch but now she is concerned with the financial loss of fixing floor. If you write a bad review on someone and they make some redemption of the issue, I think it's only fair to write about that too. My prior two experiences with Bob's was less than great causing me to go to their store twice. (there was a 3rd to a unresponsive desk clerk not worth mentioning). However, the assistant manager Phil heard and made effort to fix the problems. Though the furniture initial damage could not be repaired they were actually going to replace my dresser. I however after hearing of the issues of others about things falling apart and mine with the exception of the damage on top being in perfect condition, did not want to risk changing the entire dresser out. Also, the sentimental attachment of this being the furniture my husband bought us before he died. I would rather try to refinish the surface damage or get a sheet of glass to cover. Phil also had someone come out to repair one of the drawer slide on the bed. The part was ordered, now just waiting for completion. Even though there was miscommunication and Bob's came out anyway with a new dresser to swap (2/22/21) the tech team was pleasant and understood the situation as the delivery people took the dresser back. I think they are trying to improve and I'm willing to give them a chance. Everyone deserves a second, third, maybe 4th chance. The bible says to forgive not 7 times but 70 times 7. I'm willing to give them the opportunity to fix their errors if they are truly trying. In this time period, everyone is trying to stay in business and that means not taking people for granted. Horrible place, still don't have my bed. First time they forgot a piece, second time brought wrong piece. This was all during the Christmas holiday. Had to have large boxes in the middle of my apt while hosting and guests had to sleep on a mattress on the floor. They also leave you on hold forever, I guess hoping you'll give up. Also won't compensate you for your trouble until final delivery. I'm updating this a review after waiting 3 full days for one bed to be delivered. The first delivery date they forgot one part. The second delivery date they brought the wrong size part. The third delivery date they forgot the part again. I was scheduled on a stop and they were unwilling to remove the boxes that were sitting in the middle of my home and allowing me to cancel the order. I would never order from this place unless you want to waste lots and lots of time on the phone and waiting for them. Also you should be aware when they talk about giving you compensation it is never in the form of a discount, always in the form of a gift card further luring you into their company. I visited a Bob's store in Cherry Hill, NJ on October 31st and purchased the Scarlet White Oak bedroom set, the Scarlett Oak dining set (with six slat chairs and two host chairs), and two Boho Chic White Carved Chairs. I was advised that some of the items were in back order, so I asked for EVERYTHING to be delivered on one particular day. I was told that EVERYTHING would be delivered on or around December 15th. I received voicemails from Bob's the week of November 25th. The alerts advised that a delivery was scheduled for Saturday, November 30th. I was surprised and decided to call on Wednesday, November 27th to inquire about the items that were scheduled for delivery. I spoke with employee Anne (employee #126336), who advised ALL ITEMS were available and would be delivered. I asked her to confirm the items that were available and she started to read off a list of what we ordered. I told Annie that she missed the headboard, footboard, and an one of the boho chairs. Again, Annie stated that EVERYTHING would be delivered. I explained that if EVERYTHING wasn't on the truck, we would refuse the delivery and wait until all items were available for delivery. Annie stated that we would not have a problem and everything was accounted for. Well, Annie lied! Sergio, the delivery person, arrived at my home on Saturday, November 30th around 1:45 pm. He and his co-worker confirmed that they were present to deliver my items. I received all of the items I ordered with the Scarlett White Oak bedroom set. I also received two Boho Chic chairs. Additionally, I received the Scarlett Dining Room set, but two host chairs are presently missing. I asked Sergio if he had two host chairs. He explained that he didn't. I called Bob's customer service and reached a rep. She stated that the two host chairs were not available until sometime in December. Unbelievable! I explained to her that I had spoken with Annie on the 27th and told her we needed everything in one delivery. I further explained that we had been lied to and had I known we were going to be missing chairs, we would have refused the delivery and waited until all items were available. After a brief conversation, I asked to speak to a manager. I waited on hold for 15 mins until Manager Mary Beth (employee 82596) took my call. I explained how Annie lied and told her that I was dissatisfied with the service experience and felt that Bob's did NOT fulfil a promise to deliver ALL of the items we purchased. Mary Beth stated the two chairs were not available until the end of December and the earliest delivery we could secure was on December the 27th or December 28th. I asked about the timeframe and advised we needed to receive some sort of priority since we waited around today for our delivery and didn't receive what we ordered. Mary Beth stated she would submit request for a delivery timeframe in hopes that we could secure the same. Mary Beth also explained that we could receive some sort of compensation, but only after all of our items were delivered. Additionally, she explained that we would need to call customer service after our final delivery to inquire about the compensation she mentioned. I would like Bob's to know that I do not plan to return as a customer as I feel this entire process was unprofessional. It seems that the Bob's promise includes telling people lies just to get money from them. There are too many furniture stores out there that can fulfill your furniture needs, so I recommend going elsewhere unless you like to getting screwed over! read more

If I could give this store NEGATIVE stars, I would. We spent over $5000 on furniture in 2018 at the CHERRY HILL, NJ store and had problems almost immediately. They had no problem sending people out for the 1 YEAR it was under warranty, but each time it was a quick patch job. I did get to trade the one recliner in for a different one, but like the couch and other recliner we got, EVERY cushion was SHOT within 2 years. Even the "Bob-O-Pedic mattress is crap. The memory foam now has alzheimer's. They are all crap now. The ONLY thing that was quality were the tables we got. Will NEVER shop at Bob's Discount CRAP again. Tried to call customer service, which is the most difficult, I have ever encountered. After an hour I finally tried to reschedule the delivery, then I finally got a real person to talk to. My son's sectional sofa was delivered to the lobby of his row home apartment building- unfortunately we couldn't get it up the stairs. My husband and I were on the phone for over 30 minutes (probably more like 45) the first time. During that call, we spoke with 3 different people. The final person absolutely promised that they would be back to pick up the couch that day. He then told me to call back if I didn't hear from them within 2 hours. That time came and went, I called back, spoke with 3 more people and was told they would not be able to pick up the couch for another 12 days even though we told them it was a fire hazard and blocking the only exit. We offered to bring it to the warehouse ourselves - and the people on the phone said they would look into it and call us back - never happened. End of story - we did get the couch upstairs, it was marred, the walls were marred and my two sons and husband were exhausted from fighting with it for two days. This company should be ashamed. I will never shop at Bobs again! They have horrible customer service - their sales people are like sharks circling when you walk in the store (that was the Levittown store - so off putting that we ended up ordering on-line). I went with my husband to look for a couch. The salesmen were very friendly and helpful, but not in your face which I appreciated. They gave us our time to browse the store and when we were ready to narrow our choices down, they were able to help us. We were able to get the sofa of our choice delivered four days later. Delivery was on the day we requested, in exactly the given timeframe they said. They were very communicative as to exactly when the driver would be at our apt building. They brought the sofa up into our apartment for us, and set it up nicely. They then took all the boxing back with them. Great experience over all. read more

If I could give 0 stars I would. Jazmine at the cherry hill NJ store was very helpful in the showroom. After having bought our den furniture and loving it we decided to go back for new bedroom furniture. The first delivery the furniture arrived with a broken drawer in the footboard, a crack in the gentlemen's chest? A split in the side rail a chip on the lift top chest and the bottom drawer on that chest didn't work properly. After a call to customer care a service tech was scheduled to come out. He did and ordered replacements for all of the damaged pieces. New delivery was scheduled. Upon delivery only part of the ordered furniture came. Of that the side rail is not show room quality, the hardware looks like they had it in the wrong place and had to redo it. But since it is on the inside of the bed I didn't request replacement. A call to customer care again was placed to arrange delivery of the foot board drawer and dresser which did not arrive. A new delivery was scheduled and I was told to call back when I was happy with the furniture to arrange for compensation. On The third delivery the drawer was replaced, however, the chest they brought was worse than the original, none of the drawers closed properly. Another call to customer care and a fourth delivery was arranged. I requested that the furniture be inspected prior to placing it in the truck and was assured the message was sent. Well, you guessed it, the fourth dresser arrived today damaged. Now a service tech is scheduled to come look at it this week. When I asked about compensation I was told the most I would be compensated was a $100 gift card for Bobs. I said that's not compensation I asked to talk to a supervisor. I was told she chatted with the supervisor and the final Offer would be a $100 credit to my method of payment. I requested again to speak with the supervisor. I was connected to Melissa who apparently thinks she is Bob. She offered to refund my $129 delivery charge but that was all. I said that's not acceptable as I have paid $100 in tips to the 4 delivery teams which would not have been necessary if they had quality furniture as well as time off of work for deliveries. She told me that was all they would do and they don't reimburse tips. I wasn't asking for that. I was explaining the additional money this low end furniture is costing us. I received a Bob's Furniture Bob-o-Pedic recliner today. The recliner is fine, but I am confused, as the ticket says it's from a different furniture company! Also, the advertising on the recliner states that the recliner has a USB port, whereas the recliner doe not (not that it makes a difference). However, I asked the delivery people to move my old recliner outside for disposal. They acted confused, but then shocked when I asked them in fluent Spanish! Then again, I had to move the old recliner out of the way for them to place the new recliner correctly in the living room. The delivery people seemed to be in a rush- dumped the chair, took a picture and left! That is NOT "white glove" delivery at all. Calling the company or even trying to chat online is the WORST i HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED! A telephone call in English put me on hold for 37 minutes! A telephone call in Spanish took 12 minutes, but when connected, the Spanish-speaking operator asked me to hold, and then disconnected the call! A furniture company, especially in this pandemic, does NOT have a queue of 94 people. I'd bet in any of their stores, 94 people have called or shopped at the same time. The delivery people arrived on-time, but then said they couldn't deliver to the apartment (yes, apartment number was in the addressed confirmed by Bob's). Then came another call from the lobby: they forgot to put the dining table on the truck. They'll try to deliver the next day. I placed an order IN JUNE and I am still missing parts from my order. In AUGUST AND EARLY SEPTEMBER the store wanted to call me every morning to tell me to schedule my mirror delivery. I am an educator and was not going to schedule anything until I knew what was going on with the schools. NO ONE felt it necessary to tell me that if I don't schedule my mirror delivery in the moment, they would give my items away to someone else. Bobs has been sitting on my money for almost three months. I call to schedule my delivery and guess what!!! The mirror is out of stock until OCTOBER when it was just in stock!!!!!!!!!!! Then, the lovely moving company told me they would only bring my couch into my apartment if I PAID them. No no, I paid a delivery fee, how disgusting can you be? One of the chairs for my dining room set was not assembled properly and I can literally pick the base of the chair off of the frame. So disturbing. Where to start with this ongoing debacle? Purchased the Fusion bedset on 9/2/2022 and was told 6-8 weeks delivery window. Received a delivery date of 10/6 for the mattress, bed and tall dresser. Pretty reasonable, right? Keep in mind, Bob's doesn't dispose of the actual furniture, only the mattresses, so any actual old furniture that will be in the way has to be disposed of or relocated. Received a phone call just before delivery and after our old furniture was disposed of, that delivery will be rescheduled for 10/20 for complete delivery because only the mattress and tall dresser were available. Then received a call that only the mattress, bed and tall dresser were coming on the 20th, but the chesser and night stand would have to be delivered on 10/26. Guess what? 10/26 rolls around and the delivery shows up without the night stand, which had been scheduled for a separate delivery date without out knowledge. We decided to completed cancel the nightstand at this point, and getting a refund for this was troublesome, but eventually accomplished. Sounds like the end.....nope. After removing the mattress to center the bed in the room myself, I noticed that 3 support legs had been slid out when delivery slid the bed and it was missing a completely separate leg with the hardware. Bob's customer care was contacted on 11/8 and the part verified, ordered and the website indicated a 3/2023 delivery date! We chose to have Bob's send someone out, which was today, 11/25, and apparantly with the actual part. The technician came out, attempted to rectify the situation with what I assume were extra parts from other sets, none of which fit. While this was being determined, the gentleman indicated that the bed was not properly assembled. He choose to put us into contact with customer care, who determined it was quicker to order a new headboard, footboard and legs which at this point, is slated to be delivered on 12/20. We didn't get to address the fact that the headboard lighting switches only work some of the time. Hopefully that will be remedied with the new headboard. Don't try to use the website, as it's never accurate or updated appropriately. Every date listed was necessary for my fiancé to leave or schedule off of work. LOL! Thats not happening ....1st off, we live 45 mins to an hour away and its a real inconvenience to just come there at a moments noticed when you all were the ones who screwed up... I will never ever step foot inside a Bob's again and will advise anyone i meet to steer clear of this poorly made furniture. AND STAY AWAY FROM GOOFPROOF - they absolutely do not cover anything. Tried to file claim for accidental damage and was denied because it was covered under the warranty - bob's says its not - i now have a worthless sectional couch. I bought the supernova set in 2017 and at first it was a beautiful set. Then the edges started peeling but being a Dad and having kids running through the house, I expected it and didn't make an issue of it. Then all of a sudden my chair started smoking from the side control switch on 10/28/2020. Thankfully I was home and was able to unplug it before a fire started. I called Bob's Furniture and told them of the problem and needed a tech to look at it. A tech was sent and they said it was a cord but it wasn't covered under warranty. To avoid the hassle I bought the cord, plugged it in and it still didn't work. Another tech was sent and he said it was the switch, so I asked for this to be covered under Bob's Plus warranty and they declined me as well as Goof Proof. I asked to purchase the switch and was informed that they do not make the switch anymore being the supernova line was discontinued about 18 months ago. So I am unable to get my furniture repaired and still paying for a warranty on a furniture set they can not repair because they no longer make the parts for it. I have tried to resolve this twenty plus times before coming here and they will not help. I recommend you seek a different furniture store to purchase living room sets. Bob's Furniture Discount Furniture should be there Discontinued furniture with no way to repair if something goes wrong. Purchase at your own risk and expect hassles, It is not advised to get the warranties as the small print excludes everything but the motor and frame. Rodent infested sofa delivered by Bob's to my brand new home. We purchased a new sofa from Bob's. Upon delivery, we inspected and found a rodent's nest in between the cushions which we took photos of. Later we saw a mouse run out from within the sofa. We contacted Bob's immediately after seeing the mouse. Customer Service was awful! All they kept repeating was "Bob's Takes No Responsibility." I requested that the rodent infested sofa be picked up immediately. They were completely unwilling to work with us, refused to pick up or exchange. They have now brought rodents and the fleas they carry into my new home. We have no way of knowing how many adult and baby mice are still inside the sofa. Rodent infested furniture should be disposed of by Bob's, not delivered to unsuspecting customers. read more

I was Initially impressed by service & merchandise. Until I bought the nightstand to go along with bedroom set. Delivered beginning of week, corner was damaged -Ok -fine , the made exchange for delivery today. My mom let them in. The delivery guy -opened it up, now the Replacement nightstand is damaged on Left side , & in interum.moving it out bedroom, or in..Scratched my brand-NEW dresser -maybe 2 months old .!!??!! REALLY??! Now instead of a simple nightstand , it now a humogous Nightmare, as everything has to unloaded out of it, & wait til next week, To see if all of this is Resolved. BOBS delivered a 2 seated recliner 1 year ago. I am STILL disgusted because of the fact it was damaged upon delivery. I discovered the rip in material and non functioning recliner a few weeks afterwards. BOBS resolution was a 200.00 credit to use on additional purchases!! Bob's discount in Cherry Hill needs a new Delivry contractor. First, I love the Bob OPedic foam king sized mattress set I got. My issue is with your delivery services. Unprofessional, they talk about the customers in Spanish (I speak Italian and that's almost the same(. First, in my contract with Bobs, they are supposed to take the old bedding for the new one. That didn't happen. The ignorant contractors said that because the bed was stained up, they couldn't take it. Told me it would ruin the new mattresses on the truck, that they didn't work for Bobs. That was bad mistake number 2. These people just left the mattress in front of the house and that was that. Fast forward to Sunday, January 12. They send someone back to get the old bedding. First they call me at 5:00 am, they call me until I answer my phone at 5:00am. Then they bang on my door at 6:00am, when the window was from 7:45 to 9:45am. We have a lot of homeless population, and so I'm assuming that during the night on Saturday, one of them took the bedding (Now why they'd want that I don't know but it was gone the next morning.) I was told by customer service agents who were rude, "You should've made sure the old bedding was there!" For real now? I'm supposed to watch it when these people didn't take it in the first place? Customer service didn't call me once, they called me 3 times to ask me why the old bedding wasn't there. If you don't have a new contractor, you will be losing business. My friend and her husband had a better experience with the Deptferd contractors. I should've listened to her and gone to Deptferd! First, you don't talk about the customers and their home in Spanish. You never know who can understand your language. Second, I work in management, and if my customers complained about my contractor, the contractor would be out of a job. read more
