I love Crate & Barrel and all of their dishes, glasses, decorations, and ornaments. They are great quality and at good prices as well! This location has a large selection of furniture and a design center where they will help you with interior design for free. Their furniture is all gorgeous and high quality. Their prices on furniture are more expensive than most other stores, but the difference in quality is noticeable. We will be back again for more dishes and decorations in the future! read more

Subpar trash furniture at higher midrange prices. AVOID THIS COMPANY! Items may look nice with great style designs but the quality and material is entry level trash. Totally ripped off. To add insult to injury, the customer service department at corporate is offensive, rude, they lie, and they gaslight you trying to tell you revised history of what you have written proof of. It's truly like dealing with children. C&B, please outsource your CS to a more competent staff, whoever you're currently using is among the worst I've ever dealt with. And please go back to using QUALITY materials, I've been purchasing your furniture for years and everything recently purchased has been made with popsicle sticks, empty soda cans, and wet shopping bags. I have received 4 orders of the same sectional 4 times. Each delivery the Notch Sectional has been defected. It's been over a year and this issue is not resolved. Scott, Renee and the rest of the managers have not accommodated me in any way. They haven't offered a discount or anything. I placed a large online order for pick up at this Crate and Barrel location. The place closes at 8pm and my husband and I were running late for our pickup and we're set to arrive by 8:05pm. I called ahead and spoke to Julian, the employee in charge of merch orders( I think ha). I explained that I would be late and he said it would be no problem to bring our purchases out to us in our car. I really appreciated the entire staff going out of their way to help us out. So 'tis the season and I found myself shopping online for the first time at Crate & Barrel. The website was easy to navigate and the option to have your purchase delivered or in store pickup is nice. I go have one complaint though. On the order confirmation I received was the following. "Choose from two ways to pick up your order: Visit the store noted below and let an associate know you are there to pick up your order; or Backdoor pickup. Call the store 15 minutes before your arrival to schedule the pickup at the back door. Upon arrival at the store, call or ring the bell to let us know when you have arrived." Well, let me tell you .... there is no such thing as backdoor pickup. At least according to the representative I spoke with. I tend to avoid Crate & Barrel. It's too dangerous to step inside with all their shiny new furniture and accessory items at exorbitant prices. Their quality seems to be high, so I get the rates, but man are they out of my regular $$ range! I'll admit to spending $80 the last time I stepped in here a couple weeks ago. On two big and comfy turquoise throw pillows. Don't judge. Pillows are important and stuff! You can look at them or sit on them (don't sit on mine, I'll kick you) or....yeah, so you can look at them and they're nice. I'll continue to try to steer clear of Crate & Barrel for my bank account's sake, but if you're searching for a nice item for your home, this is a good option. read more

We were cruising the knives & debating which knives to get or whether we should buy them at the store or online. I was leaning more towards the Wusthof German knives while the bf wanted the Shun premier collection. I saw those at another competitors & they looked really intimidating. While talking with Abby, she was able to give us first hand knowledge of each knife. She let me handle them & explained how to use, sharpen, & clean them properly. She went far & beyond to make sure that we were happy & never pushy about what to get. We finally decided on the Shun premier collection & I can not wait to make dinner tonight using my new babies. Now this location is fairly New to Cherry Hill area. Maybe 1-2 years old. Sits on corner facing Rte.38, separate from mall, but in same locality, its ' own building. I like a fellow Yelper Eliz B. I am a fan of C& B, I sometimes purchasing things, sometimes like to browse around. The staff , all the locations I've been to are quite helpful, can't find something , they really "Try" to help. Couple of occasions been, during holidays, purchased numerous Xmas ornaments, they are always so fabulous, something unique about them. Have also bought kitchen accessory from here, too. Their high priced items, is upstairs-furniture area, If I had bigger house & $$ , I'd get something from there. They tend to be pricey, some people swear by them, I am in middle of the road, can find some items, but some of their items are ridiculously priced. read more

I've been to this Crate & Barrel twice and experienced excellent customer service, both times by the same woman (Felecia). On my recent visit, I picked up a pair of herb scissors (an amazing pair of scissors with about four sets of blades slightly spaced out so you can quickly dice up fresh basil, cilantro, etc. - genius!) as part of my mother's birthday gift. Naturally, I had left my card, bag and tissue paper on the couch at home, and when I mentioned this to Felecia, she promptly wrapped the shears in a nice bag with pretty tissue paper and gave me a little card. I love Crate & Barrel. I'm not sure I ever would have said that prior to getting married, but the layout of its store (in Cherry Hill) matches the elegance and affordability of its products. C&B has the design sense of IKEA, but takes it up a notch. A great place for a wedding registry, our house is filled with stuff from C&B and it's great. The best part of the store is the fact that it has brand loyatly. C&B's brand is great, and when it comes to other items, the store doesn't overwhelm one with options. From the looks of it, the franchise selects a few competing items that range in quality and price, and has the consumer make small choices, as opposed to stocking everything and letting the consumer take the job of the employed buyer. The store itself is beautiful, comforting, with incredible helpful and present staff. This is a very high review from me for a chain, so take note. read more

So I visited this Crate & Barrel back in December to get my dad a set of espresso cups and while I was there, I saw this beautiful four poster bed while I was there. I recently decided that I absolutely HAD to have a new bed (as I've definitely grown out of the current bed), so of course I checked to see if the bed I saw was on sale. It was and I found out that the bed I wanted was discontinued. I got one of the last ones in the entire company. Thanks to Memorial Day sales, I also got 15% off of the mattress and the boxspring, which was another delight. The best part is that they'll store a furniture purchase in their warehouse for up to three months if you're not ready to take it home yet! Maybe I'm overexcited by all of the savings, but I had a great experience at this clean and bright store, and my saleswoman (Elizabeth) was so pleasant and friendly that I'll probably be back for a couch soon. read more

I wish I had the budget to furnish my house in Crate & Barrel, but alas we save Crate & Barrel for those special pieces. Recently I bought a couch from this particular location and our saleswoman was more than helpful. Not too pushy, but very eager to help find us the right orientation and size for our room. The delivery was quick and the delivery people were very careful with the load in and set up. The best tip I can give you if you plan on making a big purchase from Crate & Barrel is to find a coupon. If you are buying a $3,000 couch, a 20% coupon can be a huge savings. I ended up buying a coupon on eBay for $5 and saving over $400 on the couch. It's definitely the way to go. read more

I could probably spend a whole day there putting together gift ideas, place settings, or dreaming of the meals I would make with all their cool cookware. Items range from inexpensive to very expensive so there's something in here for everyone. They have a great selection of decorative serving ware and I've scored some great deals on pieces during sales. I love their basic white collection too. Plus if you're looking for any kitchen tool they'll have it here. Our daughter could have been seriously hurt at this location. After having dinner at a restaurant near this location in Cherry Hill we decided to make a quick stop into the Crate & Barrel as we have never been in there before. Everything in there seemed nice and when we first walked in the employee was very nice to us. But that all changed after our 6 year old daughter fell face first on to the concrete floor. After making sure she was ok I looked over at the woman at the desk wondering when she was going to ask if our daughter was okay or if there was something she could help us with.....you know! Something after you just stand there as see her fall. NOTHING! That made me even more upset than I already was. I had to say to the woman. "Our daughter just fell over this thing in your floor and you need to put out a caution sign! Some type of in floor light or something was broken and they put packing tape over it!!! NOT ONE EMPLOYEE CAME OVER TO CHECK ON HER! 5 minutes later as the store was closing an EMPLOYEE came up to us, NOT to ask if our daughter was ok and she was sorry she fell but to ask us if we found everything we were looking for!?!?! Yes the door we are leaving AND WILL NEVER BE BACK. To the higher ups of this company it would be a good idea to have a chat with your cherry hill location about the night of 11-16-18. I'm wondering if the shoe was on the other foot how they would feel. read more

The workers at this particular Crate and Barrel are very helpful and courteous. The store itself is great for kitchenware, dinnerware, etc. You can find a wide selection for very reasonable prices. However, my one complaint would be that their furniture is very expensive. I have always had trouble understanding why almost everything in the store is moderately-priced to even downright inexpensive while the furniture prices are often way over-the-top. But, if you are looking for kitchen and living essentials, I would highly recommend this store. read more

i tend to be a medium-enthusiasm fan of crate & barrel, i like going there and sometimes buy things..... and that's about it. i got a gift card forcrate & barrel and went to the new store across from the cherry hill mall to check out the deal. my shopping experience was fun, the store was nice, the staff was super helpful, and things were a bit overpriced as usual. i found some good items to spend my gift card on. blah blah blah. cut to 2 days later and 80 miles away - ohmygodthepaniboughtisn'tinthebag!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! frikkkK!!!!!!!!!!! so today i called, with my bitch face on, ready to fight. i barely had to dip into my story about how i don't live in cherry hill and how much of an inconvenience it would be to get to another location... the rep who answered the phone was so nice and cute and was all "don't you just hate when that happens! should i have it shipped to you?" We were excited to find a dining room table and chairs on sale and at a great price. We bought the furniture and arranged for the delivery. The day of the delivery, the chairs were fine, but the table was damaged and the delivery people didn't even take it off the truck after unwrapping it. The delivery person said the store would call me to arrange for another delivery. The store didn't call me, so I called them because I wanted a replacement table right away. The salesperson I talked to said the soonest they had a delivery date was 9 days later. I explained that we had no table to eat on and shouldn't have to wait that long for them to fix their own mistake. The person that I talked to at the store said she would check with the warehouse the next day and call me back, but she never did. When I realized the store wasn't going to do anything to help, I called the online customer service number, but they couldn't do anything to help me either. We have purchased furniture from this Crate and Barrel in the past, and love to go there. But knowing that they wouldn't do anything to expedite the delivery of a replacement table and treated it just like a new delivery, makes me not want to order furniture from them again. It's sad that stores will spend millions of dollars on advertising to get people in the door, but will do absolutely nothing to fix their own mistake and keep loyal customers coming back. read more

Despite a company policy of being dog friendly this store appears to have its own policy. We went to look for a coffee table that would be a good size for the dog to eat from his plate. After entering the store we were even offered use of the elevator. After we were well inside the store a rude sale associate said you can't bring dogs in here. When I stared the company policy of being dog friendly she made an ugly fave and said they dander gets all over. We promptly left, despite my boy being a therapy dog and in training as a device dog, I had no desire to patronize this store. I did contact the stores corporate office and was again informed that they are supposedly dog friendly. It seems each store can make their own policies. My question is what other polices have they changed? read more

Every C&B I have ever been to allowed dogs happily, and my pup was always a hit with cashiers and greeting personnel. Nonetheless, I usually call to make sure, and I was told that it would not be a problem. I drove 70 minutes to this store to be asked to leave or pick up and hold my 50lb dog due to store policy. A store policy that C&B customer service has no idea about apparently (in fact I called them back, they confirmed dogs are allowed at C&B, and when I pointed out I was kicked out they added that in fact each store can set their own policy, though all the locations they knew of do allow dogs). I realize each C&B can make their own policies. But there are no reasons why my well behaved, AKC good canine citizen dog should not be allowed in a store that is not a food store. It was a long drive, a frustrating experience. To add to that the personnel that asked us to leave was rude. I generally liked C&B, this location made me change my mind. read more

Doesn't get any better than a company that is willing to SWAP out the furniture not-just-once but TWICE to get it right for their customer. Our 4 piece sofa-set had 'pills' after a few months. When we mentioned it to the sales person (while there for another purchase). Elizabeth T jumped into action and got a full replacement set ordered to swap it all out. THAT ALONE Made me a loyal CB customer for life. Who would've thought again months later that (having had a bad fabric batch) they'd be swapping it all out again.
