What a big sized place with everything you could need for the outdoors! It's 2 stories with aisles and aisles of goodies and gadgets to look at. Everything is nicely sectioned and marked for easy finding. Bathrooms available- just get the key at the fishing counter. Great variety and value. Customer service was average - some were very nice and knowledgeable and others not so much. Overall worth a visit. read more

I've shopped here a LOT over the last few years. Going out of my way to support a local business when I could find the same thing for cheaper online or at a chain store. I recommended this place to everyone because they have everything. However, DO NOT BUY THEIR CLAM GUNS. I made the mistake of buying one to add to the two in our household already because it was longer than ones we had and I wanted variety. Well, the gun did not work. It was broken, seal was too loose so it wouldn't suction sand. I believe the finger hole is too large too. I took it back, with my receipt. I didn't want to return it, was just wanting to get store credit towards a better one. They didn't care. "We're not responsible for it being broken" is what I heard. It was honestly pretty hurtful. I've gone out of my way to support this local business but they don't care if they sell me a broken item? I'll be taking my business elsewhere. read more

This is definitely a 5-star hardware store. It's not the typical store either. If you are a camper, sportsperson, love to BBQ, bike, hunt, fish or boat, this is the place. This place covers about everything you need whether it's clothing for your outing or toys. There is an adjacent building with lots of unique kitchen items, barbecue and smoking tools. They've got everything under the sun when it comes to fishing, hunting, biking and camping. This is not a commercial Cabelas or Bass Pro shop...this is a hometown, feel good experience where you feel like you've been welcomed into the fold of a valued communal sporting society. We were there to get a better understanding of how to fish local waters. We haven't been out much since we moved here a few years ago and were told that this was the place to go. We met up with Brad to see what we should do to catch some steelhead this year. We expected a few minutes of his time, but we were gifted with about 20 minutes of in-depth sketches and product recommendations. He has an encyclopedic knowledge bank of fishing and is a true asset to Bob's! We have no desire to go anywhere else for our sporting good needs. read more

They have tents set up, A free archery range to use as long as you bring your own target and your own bow and arrows. Prices are average. The store is so gross inside. The counter tops are old and scratched up. The worst part of the store are the carpets. I just wanted to puke while walking on them. They look like the original carpets from the 1940's. Either they do not make any money or the owners are so cheap they will not replace them. They are torn and ripped up and stained. I even saw duck tape in one area. They are stained up. I saw gum on them. Disgusting cheap owners. I bet anything the owners house has better carpet. read more
