Love coming here. We find shark teeth here. And we saw some turtle tracks in the morning. So amazing . Free parking on side of road. Or you can pay to park closer in the front. There are restrooms and a playground. And plenty of things around to eat walking distance.

Nice lookout spot for the beach and watch the surfers. There's some parking but it seems private. Dogs not allowed on the beach but they are at the pavilion. There's a playground.

I love this place to relax under the pavilion and watch the ocean waves while feeling the breeze. Going here gives a sense of peace to the soul. It's great for a mid-day lunch break or to people-watch on the weekends. There's paid parking on the premise

Whoever decided that pets shouldn't be allowed on the beach is a very sad person. Similarly, whoever lets their dog shit all over the beach is not a saint. Sadly, I wasn't able to experience either scenario because I was turned away at the gate by two nice gentlemen (that are probably afraid of the sun) on the morning of 06/17/2023 at 11:00AMish. Absolutely beautiful. Purchase a beach pass if you live in Boca. worth the money for sure. They are doing some updates to the area. Parking is usually easy. The bathrooms are good. You can purchase chairs and umbrellas if needed. They have life guards on duty.

TIP: Went for a morning walk on the beach and saw at least a dozen Portuguese man o' war washed up ashore. I'm not sure what season these are more prevalent but there were one too many along the shoreline which would make me weary of how many live ones were out in the water. Anyway, keep away from these since the detached tentacles and dead specimens (including those that wash up on shore) can sting just as painfully as the live ones in the water and apparently they may remain potent for hours or even days after the death of the organism or the detachment of the tentacle. Stings usually leave painful red welts on the skin that normally last two or three days after the initial sting, though the pain should subside after about 1 to 3 hours (depending on the biology of the person stung).

Cool beach! Super cool city that is very modern and stylish. Parking near the beach was $16 or $18 (forgot) no matter how long you are there. I drove around for 10 minutes trying to find a parking spot that was this close to the ocean. Fun place, perfect weather, it was worth the trip from FLL.

I can't wait until the beaches reopen and I promise never to take the ability to enjoy them for granted again. I won't have that I can always go tomorrow mentality. Once the beaches open back up I am going to make a beeline for here. This beach in Boca Raton is open 7 days a week from 8 AM until sundown. It has a small parking lot currently guarded by a police officer. This beach has a webcam so even if you can't visit in person you can see what you are missing out on. Park amenities include a lifeguard, bathroom, showers, and a playground. All of the beaches in Boca Raton are very clean and well kept. If you can't park here you can try heading south to Boca Inlet Park or north to Red Reef Park.

After enjoying a beautiful lunch date with my love he decided to take me to a beach I'd never been to. It was beautiful. We parked right next to the pavilion where people were standing and enjoying the view of the ocean and beach-goers. It's a great place to stand and see so much going on, you can be entertained for hours even if you're not going for a swim. We weren't exactly dressed for the beach but luckily we had a bag packed from a previous rendezvous that provided us with something to slip on and spread on the sand. I loved the spot we chose which gave us a little privacy but still a part of the action. It wasn't crowded at all. In fact, it seemed more crowded on the pavilion than on the beach. The sand was warm, the weather was perfect and so was the moment. We stayed for a couple of hours and our parking came out to be $3.25. Not bad for a quick date at the beach.

Uffff this was my first and it won't be my last time at this great beach. With a small;l parking lot and a cute area to seat, this beach is so pretty. The view was just amazing and it was very clean. When we went, it was breezy so we saw many people surfing, which was so cool!

A nice place to lookout on the beach. There's not a lot of parking around but if you get lucky, you are in for a good view. I noticed quite of few surfers even in the rain on a Sunday. The beach is pretty wide and very open.

    Check out the sky!

It was a beautiful day, still hot and windy, standing under the pavilion was cooler because of the shade overhead. As I said it was windy which created waves. Waves that were good for the surfers and others riding the waves! It was an enjoyable day at t

This is a nice beach to walk around on and get your sun on! It's usually pretty quiet and not too rowdy with old folk around. It's a public beach and the water is clear and not too seaweedy and the sand is pretty sugary! High yield: Nice quiet beach that stretches up and down the coast connecting Delray and Boca and other beaches, with clear waters and inexpensive parking Parking: So it says 5$ for parking but the attendant didnt' seem too interested in collecting money. So idk, what's going on but 5$ for an all day access really isn't bad esp if it's a whole vehicle of you and your friends and fam. Beach: Clean and clear. Life guards on duty and you'll find nice shells unless you're competing with the retired snowbirds who have probs combed this beach every day to where they would know if there were new shells. Weather/Wind/Conditions: IT does get windy. I recommend you face AWAY from the wind. Rule number one I've established after living here for a bit. ALWAYS check out where your wind is blowing or else you'll be covered with sand and tasting sad for next couple of ours and your eyes will scream in pain. There is foliage so this isn't a bake and roast kinda beach. Some green and life will keep this place a little cool. Safety: Pretty safe- lock your car of course, but there's not many loafers or loiterrers around that will cause you and your family danger or feeling threatened.

    Are there public restrooms?

    Yes

Does this beach allow dog from out of the country? Do I need a permit and can I get one not being local?

The beach only allows service dogs. There is a specific area of the beach further north which is set aside for dogs to run free. Note, I've seen people with their dogs early in the morning and later in the day and they might not be service dogs.… Read more

What is left of it makes for cramped seating unless you are willing to walk, which we did, but had we been with our in-laws it would not have been that easy. Also the stairs and walking path seems as if they are falling apart. Need some remediation and a good paint job. Positives are still showers and restrooms. I get that someone needs to be here to open it but this was a disappointment. Once I did find a spot to park, it was a nice walk through the mangroves and along the boardwalk over the dunes to the beach. I found a seat, probably trespassing from one of the communities but the chair was comfy. With my coffee in hand, I was here for over an hour as the Sun slowly came over the horizon. I was undisturbed. Other beachgoers walking back and forth but folks seemed to get my vibe and did not approach. There is a beached sailboat here since December. Maybe it's still here when you visit. It made for some fun photos. There is a bathroom facility and a beach shower and a picnic pavilion. Parking across the street requires feeding a meter. Don't forget that. It took forever for us to find parking, so we ended up doing valet near this beach. I was sunburnt from the day before so was on a quest to find an umbrella to rent. Thankfully, Oceanside rentals came in clutch with a $32 umbrella only all day rental. We liked this beach a lot because of the calm water. We also appreciated that there was less seaweed and calmer water than Boynton Beach's Ocean Front Beach Park. The surrounding green was gorgeous. Where we entered there was a giant pipe though that smelled a little like cigars, but we sat far enough away for it not too bother us too much. The town was named after the Earl of Hillsborough, who was given land in Florida from the King of England after the First Treaty of Paris was signed where England gave up Cuba and the Philippines to Spain in exchange for receiving Florida. Hillsboro also has a rich history with the Barefoot Mailmen. The Barefoot Mailmen were eleven US postal workers who delivered the mail in South Florida from 1885 to 1893 by walking barefoot on the beach from Palm Beach to Miami. Before the mailman started the route, a letter from Lake Worth to Miami could take anywhere from 6 weeks to 6 months to arrive and would be routed through Cuba. The annual salary of a Barefoot Mailman was $600 a year. The trip started on Monday and took three days to get to Miami, Then they would turn around and come back for a round trip of 136 miles. Eighty miles were walking and fifty six miles were by boat. The three day trek down the coast was not without it's danger. You can find a Barefoot Mailman statue in front of the Hillsboro town hall dedicated to James "Ed" Hamilton who mysteriously vanished in 1897 while crossing the Hillsboro Inlet. The mystery of what happened to Hamilton is fascinating. Was he eaten by an alligator, killed by native people, or did he drown? No one will ever know. Although Hillsboro Beach is small in size at only a little over three miles and 900 miles at its widest point, it has a lot of charm. The only road through town is A1A and here it is nicknamed Millionaire's Mile for the mansions that line it. The most prominent feature of the town is the 1907 Hillsboro Lighthouse which you can tour monthly with the Lighthouse Preservation Society. The beaches in town are all private. You can go to North Ocean Beach Park in Pompano Beach to the south or Deerfield Beach Park to the north. Hillsboro Inlet Park is a nice place to picnic and get a great view of the lighthouse. I always enjoy driving through this stretch of A1A when heading up the coast.
