So I see the park and I'm looking hard as it looks like a little building on the grounds and the door is wide open... could it be a miracle. I go in and there is a sign-in sheet, so I sign-in and I'm relieved because the couple people that came before me the reason was: Restroom. I know this is not my community recreational center so I actually asked and the lady at the desk, who was very nice, pointed me in the direction. Not only was this place spotless but it had the aroma of bleach, just want I like to smell when I walk into a Rec Center..talk about setting the standard. The outside grounds were pretty nice too, I noticed the paths, tennis courts, and playground. While I don't plan on having that emergency again, I appreciate the hospitality.

It is a nice slick floor, the best floor for busting out dance moves. We were shake n baking. They accept credit cards for the rink and serve pizza, snacks, hot dogs, fries, and other food. Surprisingly, there were a lot of good skaters, better than the average that I have seen, which made it more fun!!! I will definitely be back for the Sunday adult night! Btw the DJ was one of the best hip hop DJs I have experienced at a roller rink ever and I have been to several rinks across the country. There are also a couple of volleyball courts near a very large covered pavilion that would fit the family bbq or the the office crab feast. There is also a decently sized playground for the kids, although it isn't nearly as good as the playgrounds offered at Centennial and Meadow Brook. The park is free to access, and open to the public. They have a playground for small children and another structure for larger/older kids. My daughter enjoys both. The playground has multiple picnic benches that are all wooded and shaded, and the trees extend over much of the playground, so most of that is shaded as well. The senior center does have bathrooms inside and available to use during business hours, but the outdoor bathrooms are locked, and you won't be able to access those at all. There is a tennis court, sand area (not a sandbox - more like for volleyball, but I didn't notice a net), and a path that I've seen people walking on. The parking lot is right next to the playground and there is also a Little Free Library as well. Overall, it's a nice and quiet playground to bring your kids to.
