I went to Marlboro Medical Center today as a walk in visit. Before going, I called and was told I…read moremust wear a mask. There is also a sign on the front door saying "No Mask, No Entry." The woman at the front desk was not wearing a mask or gloves. When I went into the back, the nurse made me take off my mask to take my temperature with an under-the-tongue thermometer. Most offices are now using ear or forehead thermometers so you can keep your CDC recommended face masks on. Finally, the doctor entered the room, did not wash his hands, and did not put on gloves (but was wearing a mask). During this whole COVID pandemic, I am shocked at the lack of safety protocols in place at Marlboro Medical Center and would not return or recommend.

They were not only highly skilled, but also attentive and compassionate. A full team of surgeons, infectious disease doctors, general doctors, head nurses, patient advocates, etc. checked in with me each morning. The hospital itself was clean, well-organized and run efficiently. The nursing staff and aides in particular all went above and beyond, regularly checking in, managing my pain, and making sure I was as comfortable as possible during my recovery.
