Spent the day yesterday at Tattoo Faction for the Mike Hutton fundraiser, the shop was packed but it was hands down the best tattoo event in northern Ohio. I am a complete and total tattoo snob, this and one other shop in the Cleveland area are the only shops I would consider visiting. Got a chance to have Oliver Peck do work as well as a few other nationally known artists. Shop was clean, the staff was very professional in handling the large volume of people and the work getting done. Great job Corey and team. read more

I made an appointment about a month in advance since I knew I would be in Cleveland to visit friends on a particular weekend. This shop is known for doing great traditional/neo-traditional tattoos, and I wanted to start working on a collection of different animals in that style. I booked a couple of hours with Rob Hamilton and we emailed one another with some ideas and feedback about the piece ahead of time. Rob drew up a final drawing when I arrived, and he banged out an awesome looking bison head for me in a couple of hours. The shop was very cool- covered in tattoo flash wall to wall, sparkling clean, and just an awesome atmosphere for tattooing. Rob was super friendly, professional, and did a fantastic job. You won't be intimidated or feel like a stranger here, and you will leave with an awesome tattoo! It was a great experience, and I know I will be back soon. read more

Went to get a tattoo covered up and was not disappointed. My artist was Dylan and he was sooooo good. He is incredibly talented and covered up my tattoo flawlessly. Great guy to spend two hours with and definitely made it a fun time. Only downside of Tattoo Faction was having to wait, I scheduled my appointment for 7pm and the session didn't start till 9pm. Still, an overall great experience. Highly recommend. read more

The only place in Cleveland area I will let tattoo my skin. Rob Hamilton has blessed me with his art on 4 distinct and large pieces. The lines and color are second only to his unique take on the piece itself. I'm forever grateful for the lifelong artwork I had done and I love the atmosphere and cleanliness of the shop as well. Beautiful shop. Very clean. Very overpriced! I have received quality work for half the price at other local shops. I had to wait 45 minutes for my appointment because the artist didn't show up. No way to get a deposit back even if the artist wasn't there. Dustin stepped in and gave me my 15 minute tattoo after I got tired of waiting 45 minutes. Dustin was awesome. Very friendly. I do love the work he did. No complaints at all with that. read more

Tattoo faction has the best customer service of any tattoo shop I've ever been to. Making appointments is always a pleasant and easy experience. Cindy is not only an incredibly talented tattoo goddess but also a really cool person to spend hours with while working on a piece. I get stopped at least once a day with a compliment and asked where I got my half sleeve done. She's always on point when creating a work of art I get to carry around with me for the rest of my life. Just wanted to make sure our experience is shared across several review sites.... As far as tattoo quality, my sisters, mother, and I are (mostly) very pleased. As far as professionalism - because of Dan Wulff, we had an extremely negative experience. We made an appointment a month in advance to get 3 tattoos at noon on Sunday (very simple tattoos) - we knew we were going to pay (a little too much, in my opinion) more and going out of our way, but we had heard such good things about Tattoo Faction. We were told Dan would be taking care of us, but when we arrived at noon he was nowhere to be found. My mother joined us and asked if she could be squeezed in for her first tattoo. She was very excited and we were all excited to get her a tattoo on Mother's Day. Sadly, by 1:00, Dan had STILL not arrived with no explanation or apology. Paul graciously offered to squeeze us in around his appointments, but we felt bad for the people who had already scheduled with Paul (but frustrated because we all had to be somewhere at 3:00). Paul took care of me, as Dan arrived. When we finally got in to see Dan he made no attempt to apologize or even acknowledge that he was so late and then proceeded to get up and leave for 10 minutes between each of my sisters/mothers tattoos. I understand needing a cigarette break or something now and then, but not when you are late to our appointments and not three in a 2 hour period. We were so frustrated by that whole experience. Our tattoos look great, but Dan's professionalism will not bring me back to Tattoo Faction. Major kudos to Paul for doing my sister-in-law's tattoo and mine that day, and to the guy at the front who helped design and work with my very anxious mother on changing up the tattoo to be something she liked. If not for them, Tattoo Faction would have only gotten one star. Not satisfied with the tattoos by Dan at all, lack of customer service from Dan, or lack of discount/apology for inconveniencing the customer. Will never come back. read more

i scheduled an appointment with rob hamilton, emailed my ideas and inspiration, showed up for the appointment, and he didn't have any sketches prepared. he told me to leave & come back in an hour. i was unimpressed with his sketch and kindly asked for revisions. this escalated the situation, he said he doesn't do the type of tatto i requested, getting angry and raising his voice at me in front of other clients. he told me to go elsewhere and refused to return my $100 deposit. tattoo faction took $100 from me with no services rendered. i asked to speak to a manager and rob said the owner would back him up. they stole my $100. read more

Went there to watch a friend get his tattoo about 2 months ago, we went cuz we've heard great things about their work and very few bad things..I felt very differently and so did my friend who had made the decision to get tattooed here Way way way Overpriced, my friend has gotten another tattoo since this place that cost half the price for triple the size and the tattoo came out amazing and much better than the work done at tattoo faction. So not worth the money here at alllllll. very rude people, ok work, tattoo turned out fine here my friend wasn't too disappointed in the work but the experience was horrible... Whenever I've gotten any of my tattoos I've had a friendly environment and it really makes or breaks the experience please if your considering going here, reconsider!!!!!! read more
